Waterfront holiday rentals in Ås Municipality

This was an ideal place to stay, right in the center of the quaint seaside town of Drøbak. It is furnished beautifully, plenty of room, quality bedding and overall just a true 5 star Airbnb! Åse kept in touch which made it easy to know what to expect and how to get in. I would recommend this to anyone looking for a relaxing stay in a great location!

The apartment was modern and stylish, and at the same time cozy with a view of the garden in peaceful surroundings. It was clean and nice, and good furniture and bed. It was extra nice that the host had put out chocolate.

We absolutely loved staying at Ruth’s BEAUTIFUL HOME! It is probably the most stunning air b &b I have stayed in. The views are just stunning, and the home is gorgeous. Ruth was so lovely, and met us when we arrived- she couldn’t do enough for us. I couldn’t recommend staying here enough, it made our trip just so special.

This accommodation is an absolute gem. The view of the fjord from the balcony alone makes it worth it, but in addition to this the apartment is extremely close to the city centre via a bus that comes regularly, it is cleaned and decorated to a pristine level and with gorgeous artwork on the walls, there is a heating system that is easy to use, as well as a powerful shower and comfortable bed. The hosts are also very friendly and responsive. If you are coming to Oslo, I recommend staying here. You’ll be looked after way better than in any hotel!

We found that the landlord was easy to communicate with and wanted to facilitate the best possible experience for us. The location made this apartment special, as well as everything was clean and proper inside. We would be happy to come back if the opportunity arises!

We arrived a few hours later than agreed and everything was ready when we arrived, quiet, calm and exactly what we imagined. Everything went smoothly and we just had to take care of bus trips 😀

The communication with the host is very smooth and prompt. The scenery around the accommodation is good, and the amenities are very well equipped. It's near the end of the bus, so transportation is good, and the grocery store is close, so I highly recommend it.

Location location location... I wanted to stay in Sandvika, because my mother lived there for 20 years, so I am very familiar with the area and it feels like home. The property is in a quiet neighborhood and feels very private, yet is centrally located, and easy to walk around the area for hiking, shopping, bus/train transfers, and easy to use trains and bus to connect to anywhere quickly. We had everything we needed, and were comfy and cozy and made ourselves at home. Very comfy beds. As described, the sleeping loft has a low ceiling. My daughter is not very tall and is young and limber, and was quite happy up there, but you probably don't want someone too tall up there. Host is very responsive and clearly communicates. They live in the house next to the rental, but we never saw them in over a week, so the rental is very private. Beautiful view of the bay and lovely sunsets from the deck.

We stayed here for 2 days … the location near by sea 100 meter walkable distance to the beach.. place is very good.its 30 minutes by car to reach city center…if u r looking for stay out of city this is the best place..

I was there for 5 weeks. The view is very nice and you have your privacy. On foot you can get to a large shopping center quite quickly, there is everything your heart desires. In general, you can get by very well on foot. I didn't test the public transport. The host is very friendly and easy to talk to. He had offered to take me on a hike, which I also enjoyed. He gave plenty of tips on what to do in the area but also tips for longer trips. All in all, a very great 5 weeks.

We had an amazing time at Heidi’s beautiful home in Fagerstrand. The house is cozy and tastefully decorated, and the surrounding area is absolutely stunning. Peaceful, green, and perfect for relaxing. Heidi is a wonderful host and an incredibly kind and helpful person. She made us feel truly welcome from the moment we arrived. We highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a peaceful getaway with a warm and thoughtful host!

Quiet location, incredibly cozily furnished/partly nostalgic. In a few minutes by bus (and then by ferry to Oslo) and at the grocery store or down on the coast. Rushing stream on the premises.

It’s a very quiet place, great place to relax and still be connected to the city. Comfortable and liveable. Great place for travels with small animals as well.

Very cozy house, plenty of space but still intimate. The fjord view for breakfast was wonderful! Nice streets to walk in. Jeanette was the perfect host. Kitchen with what you need. Nice modern bathroom. We'll take the trip again ☺️

We LOVED staying here. We were able to take the bus into the City Center. The walk to the waters edge is stunning. I wish we could have stayed longer. 10/10, highly recommend.

Felt like home!!. I never had a deep sleep like Vin's home. The only problem was his second door code didn't work, however he responded quickly our chat so we hadn't waited for too long. Definitely will come back!!

Freddie was an excellent host during our stay in Norway! The apartment is beautiful and spacious in a great location with beaches and swimming spots nearby! The apartment is great! It feels like home, it has everything you need to prepare to eat for dinner around a table outside or inside. We all slept very well and had fun with the many board games! The apartment was clean and is in a great location! No problem taking public transport, the bus is right nearby and + the city of Drobak is a real favorite. We loved it. I came with two small children, they had a blast, with the sea nearby and children's games in the parks. The Drobak pool too. Great stay and great host who was always available for any questions.

We had a fantastic stay in Carina's cozy apartment. Bright, clean and tidy and spacious. Short walking distance to pleasant Drøbak city center and short distance to the nearest bus stop. I highly recommend Carina's apartment. Would love to come again another time.

You will not find a more pleasant host! My wife and I felt very well received. There was chocolate and apple cider when we arrived and the lights were on, so the apartment was very inviting when we arrived. Eli has been very helpful and accommodating throughout our stay. She was flexible with the time for both check-in and check-out, responded quickly to questions and gave good descriptions for us to find our way. During the stay, we had a little problem with the gas stove, and Eli was quick to help. Recommended!
