Holiday rentals with lake access in Arvika Municipality

Absolutely amazing place! It’s a fantastic house, huge and spacious, very clean and has everything you’ll need. Great private location, the kids loved running around on the grass and parents could relax knowing no cars would go past. Loved the private beach. The two bathrooms were great for so many guests. Angelica was an excellent host and so accomodating and helpful.

For the 3 times in the house, everything is definitely recommended.

We were 8 family members celebrating birthday to our youngest daughter of 20 years, the place suited us perfectly, plenty of space, lots of bedrooms and a lovely setting. Large kitchen that was incredibly well equipped, tastefully decorated with delicious details. The place was scenic, with a nice view of a water. I would like to visit the place again when it's summer and swimming opportunities.

Very nice house and location. The walk-through room was not so convenient for our group (6 friends), but if you go with 1 or 2 families that is fine.

Hey, Me and my friends had wonderful and relaxing days at Carsten AirBnb. The apartment was clean and tidy, you had everything you needed including enough utensils to cook for 8 people. In particular, the terrace was a dream to have breakfast in the morning with a lake view and then go either to the lake or hike from there. We highly recommend the place and are very happy that we were also allowed to be here as a somewhat younger group.

We spent seven days in Mike and Kristine's wonderful holiday home. The property is in a wonderfully idyllic location and there are lots of details to discover in the garden. The house is clean and superbly equipped, so we didn't miss a thing. A big plus is also the own jetty to the lake and the possibility to use the rowing boat and canoe. Unfortunately, the water level of the lake had dropped so much at the time of our stay in August that we couldn't get the rowing boat into the water, but as the canoe was easy to use from the jetty, this wasn't a problem and we were able to explore the lake and its wonderful shores. Communication with Mike and Kristine was smooth and any questions were answered quickly. If you are looking for a quiet, private location in the middle of the Swedish countryside, this is the place for you.

Idyllic, beautiful cabin with lots of space both inside and outside for our big family. There was both clean and a homey feeling with the possibility of borrowing board games when it rained and canoeing and rowboat when the weather was better. Highly recommend.

This was the best place we have ever stayed in. Lovely and authentic house, good beds, the garden elevates the overall experience, the lake is breathtaking. We made some nice walks, no tics or mosquitoes (end of May). We swam in the lake (still quite cold). We hope to come back very soon!

martin's place is very special and you have to have experienced it for yourself what tranquility this place exudes. The toilet and rowing boat take some getting used to, but it all takes value. We also had the great happy aurora to see from the terrace.

Birgit is a great host. Very responsive. The house itself is absolutely lovely. Spacious, clean and a garden that shows the love and care that has gone into it! We thoroughly enjoyed our stay 👌🏼👌🏼

We had an unforgettable holiday in the lonely house right on the water. There remained nothing to be desired in the house itself. Hopefully we will have the opportunity to travel there again at some point.

Charming house in the middle of nowhere. The house has everything we needed. The private beach and the newly built wooden jetty makes the overall look of the house perfect. The host, Samudra is nice, friendly and always available if you have questions or need support. Perfect place to rest and spend some time. Highly recommended

We rented the house in connection with our eldest child participating in the Arvika cup. We were 2 adults and 3 children from 5 to 9 years old. The house was very nice and clean, and even more cozy than the impression we got from the pictures. Large nice lawn around the house and swimming area nearby. We were very lucky with the weather and must say that this was a real summer paradise. Driving to Arvika takes about 25 minutes, which suited us well as we spent a lot of the days there. Communication with the host has been good, and she who lives in the house nearby welcomed us (sister of the landlord) and was very nice. Highly recommend :)

We (a family of six and a dog) spent two relaxing weeks in the cottage. In the 1st week, thanks to the sunny weather, we just spent time on the private jetty, went swimming & explored the lake via SUP. In the 2nd, cooler week, we enjoyed the peace & quiet of the area around the cottage, sat around the campfire, visited Karlstad, Arvika & Charlottenberg & picked blueberries while hiking! If you want to take home a hand-carved souvenir, you should stop by the Sneckarboa-house in Fredros! Mattias was always available via phone to answer our questions (but actually the great cottage manual is all you need) and welcomed us with a little present! The cottage is cosily furnished and offered us everything we needed. But, if you're looking for luxury, you're in the wrong place. We had to get used to the noise from the road, mainly at closing time, but after a few days we no longer noticed it. We really enjoyed our time here!

We spent lovely time at Nicole’s place. The surroundings are so beautiful and peaceful, the yard is very big and we could relax, do a bonfire and children could play safely. The house was very nicely renovated, well equipped, clean and comfortable for our two families. Nicole welcomed us with her family and was always available to give us tips and recommendations. Thank you, Nicole, for such a nice time ! 😊
