Family-friendly holiday rentals in Ars-en-Ré

Stay from June 6 to 9, 2025. Beautiful peaceful place and not overlooked. Close to the beach and close to the forest, offering superb walks. House faithful to the description and the reviews correspond exactly to what we found with extremely friendly, available and caring hosts. We had a wonderful week. Fred and Sabrina could not have made us feel more welcome. Would highly recommend this for a couple looking for a relaxing break close to many areas of interest. Every need was catered for and more and went way beyond our expectations. Very nice people.

The house is absolutely in line with the listing. All the comforts are there to accommodate a family or friends (kitchen equipment, games and accessories for children, barbecue and smoker). The land is beautiful, very well maintained by Cathy and her husband. In addition, Cathy was very welcoming, attentive, sharing, always ready to answer the slightest question with a smile and the utmost precision. And finally, a big thank you to her for the afternoon spent gently removing splinters from our little Eden's hand. We'll be back for sure!

We really enjoyed our stay at this beautiful place. The description is completely in line with reality and the welcome is managed efficiently, allowing you to make the most of a great holiday. Contact with the owners is easy and pleasant, we recommend without hesitation!

Very nice welcome from Frédéric. We stayed there on a long weekend with our baby, the studio space was quite sufficient. The common courtyard is very pleasant. Perfect location, with views of the port, shops and restaurants in the immediate vicinity (without the associated noise pollution). Frédéric was very available for all questions. I recommend it.

Very nice place with its small terrace out of sight . The hot tub is a real joy no matter the weather . Very well placed on the island . You can do anything on foot or by bike . Boris is always available and very welcoming . A big thank you . To be done again with great pleasure .

We particularly enjoyed your lush and colorful "wild" garden, and the beautiful terrace where it was nice to rest when the sun was out: a little corner of paradise! We had a great time at Sonia's home, the apartment is ideally located for visiting the island. The terrace is nice and the apartment is perfectly equipped. Sonia and her husband were so welcoming!

We had a great time at La Flotte. Beatrice is really very friendly with lots of good advice even though we knew the island very well. The pool is a real plus and the garden is very zen. We'll be happy to go back.

The house perfectly reflects the description and Jeanne is really a caring person giving advices and sharing also her knowledge and tips ans tricks about the regions. The house was super clean. The house is perfectly located, 3 minutes walk from the daily market with local producers and from The haven and the restaurants. The street is super quiet as only accessible to people living in the street. Ars en Ré was for us the best town as it combines the small shops, some restaurants, the daily market and you can reach the other towns easily by bike. We had a great week in Jeanne’s house.

We had a great time at this lovely house. It is beautifully and tastefully decorated, has a lovely garden, and is very quiet and private. The welcome was very nice and an added bonus was generously allowing our children to play with some beach toys stored at the house. The house is five minutes from an excellent bakery, pizza place and bar / cafe and ten minutes walk from a lovely beach.

We had a very good stay in this apartment on the occasion of a wedding in the area. The location is perfect, very central, which allowed us to do everything on foot. The accommodation is clean, well furnished and very pleasant to live in. Ideal for enjoying the island! Thanks again for hosting us! We'll be back :)

We had a splendid time at Emmanuel's place. Our family of five stayed for a week and felt right at home. The house had all we needed to feel comfortable, and it was very clean. We loved the beautiful garden in particular. Also, the location is great. It's a very pretty residential neighborhood, in close walking distance to the beach, shops, restaurants, and all the central port area has to offer. Wish we had stayed longer! We had a wonderful time, and we would gladly return to Marie and Emmanuel's place and to La Rochelle.

Nice family house with a big garden, we and our dog loved it. The patio and terrace are relaxing. The open kitchen is large and well equipped, the sitting area is comfortable and spacious. The house is very close to the village center, easy access to the beach and local restaurants. There’s a market twice a week, and local grocery stores. We rented bicycles just around the corner and did not need the car at all. All in all we had an excellent and very relaxing stay :)

A very good stay at Brigitte's, who was super welcoming. The accommodation is easy to access and close to the center of La Flotte. It is very well equipped, clean and warm. Despite the coolness of the pool, we enjoyed it after our very long bike ride. we will come back with great pleasure! thank you Brigitte for the welcome and your trust.

Very clean accommodation, easy to access, ideal for a stay on the island. Perfect location, close to the center and the beach on foot. Nearby bike paths. Very quiet residence, well maintained. Clean and well-located studio, very good bed, nice small balcony for breakfasts, I used the pool, sauna and steam room with satisfaction. We are barely 10 minutes from the port of St Martin de Ré, we will be happy to come back, thank you Jacky for your welcome and Pascal for his accommodation

Great stay at Chris's in Loix! Very nice and functional house, a quality exterior. Ideally located for cycling around the island. Loix is a very pretty village away from major sights. Our host was very responsive in answering our questions. Recommended

Very nice welcome from Karine. Great responsiveness and a very nice house. Quiet but very accessible, lighthouse and sea in the immediate vicinity Karine is very responsive and always attentive. I would recommend this place for 2 couples and 4 children ( mezzanine not very suitable for adults)

The studio offered by Nathalie and Philippe is located in a private residence that looks like a small town in the city. Pleasant accommodation partly for its ceiling height that gives an impression of grandeur, a beautiful terrace with good exposure where it is pleasant to relax and also the location of the accommodation 5 minutes walk from the port of La Flotte is very appreciable. Comfortable bedding, everything a couple needs is offered. The heated pool is a real plus after a good day of cycling.

From the moment we booked we felt looked after by Maureen. Valerie was a real star, waiting to greet us and show us around. Maureen's house is very much a home from home. The local beach is very near and the town and extensive food market is 10 minutes walk away, with the harbour a great place to grab a bite to eat or a coffee whilst watching the world go by. Can't wait to go back.
