Kid-friendly holiday rentals in Arona

Louise was so sweet and her home is a little gem with the BEST bathtub EVER in the bedroom. Such a cool place and very roomie for a couple. Beautiful decor! Love the interior design touches mixing the old stone with more modern elements. The only negative was finding parking. Luckily we found a little spot all the way down the hill in front of the school….but this is Lake Como so we’re used to hiking up the hill!:) Just an FYI for anyone with mobility issues. We loved our stay and especially loved our meals out on the deck and also enjoyed Villa Lario built into the cliff just below. Fun experience:) We’d love to return sometime!

We have an excellent stay on the lake. Beautiful views and in a quieter area away from crowds!

This home is incredible. The view is stunning. But it is a decent hike up to the house. If you come by ferry it would take 30 mins from terminal to get to the home with many steps. Very challenging with a heavy suitcase. If you come by car it will take approximately 10-15 mins. Lots of stairs. Pack light if you’re able to. The home itself is over 3 levels by a spiral staircase. Bring light luggage if possible. The deck is so nice to spend time on. Lovely, memorable home with a friendly helpful host. Will never forget this beautiful place

Monica and Luciano are wonderfull hosts. First of all their house is located at a top position with a unique view on the lago and inside the house you experience the atmosphere of a nice environment in any detail and in any aspect. You breath the Italian hospitality. Monica and Luciano treated us in a fantastisc way and they provided is with so much enthousiastic information to make our stay “indimenticabile”. We will never forget the Centovalli experience. Grazie mille e a la prossima volta……

Een heerlijk huisje in een authentiek dorp. We hebben genoten van het prachtige uitzicht vanaf het terras op de lekkere bank, heerlijk geslapen op de goede bedden (ook de sofabank) en de regendouche was ook super. Het contact met Kathi en Ivan was zowel snel als heel vriendelijk, gebruik vooral hun reisgids want daar staan hele goede aanbevelingen in. Pognana is een pareltje, je kunt mooie wandelingen maken naaf boven en op het 'strand' beneden zit je in no time. Bar Sonia boven is heel goed en gezellig, je bent er zo een vaste klant. Ook Marvin, onze hond, heeft genoten, er was nog een verrassing voor hem bij aankomst, heel lief! Je zit heerlijk privé in het huisje, soms hoor je de bovenburen, maar dat was niet storend. Van Bar Sonia hoor je overigens niets. Heel erg bedankt dat we mochten blijven en hopelijk tot ziens!

This home is in an outstanding location overlooking the lake and Lugano. We were blown away by the view from every window. The location was very peaceful, and the home was extremely well-stocked. We enjoyed coffee on the balcony or the covered deck every day (depending on how hot it was!). The home is located a quick drive to downtown Lugano, and a short drive to the top of Monte Bre (highly recommend!) and to Gandria (also highly recommend). We fell in love with Lugano and the surrounding area thanks in part to this house…we will definitely be back.

Nous sommes ravis de notre séjour à Prémeno qui est un village très agréable . Le logement était conforme aux photos et nous avons pu profiter du balcon . Nous avons sympathisé avec Donatella c'est une personne disponible et très chaleureuse que nous avons beaucoup appréciée .Nous recommandons vivement ce gîte

Wir haben den Aufenthalt sehr genossen! Gandria ist ein malerisches, kleines Dorf und trotz der ruhigen, beschaulichen Lage gibt es mehrere Restaurants und Kaffees, wo man einkehren kann. Die Wohnung von Louise wurde mit viel Bedacht gestaltet und hat alles, was man für ein paar erholsame Tage braucht.

Great stay and very friendly and responsive Host. You felt, that the host really takes care of the apartment and guests. Even helped us to get the the airport very early in the morning, when trains and buses were not driving.

The house is perfect. It is big and beautiful. Also has a big balcony with a great view and few furniture, perfect for enjoying the evening outside. Antonio is very nice, helpful and flexible. We asked for a later checkout, and he agreed instantly.

Edoardo verhuurt een ruim en sfeervol appartement, met parkeren voor de deur en alles (het meer, treinstation, winkels, restaurants, etc.) op loopafstand. De auto is weinig van zijn plek geweest, en Turijn en Milaan zijn goed met de trein te doen. Edoardo is uiterst vriendelijk en behulpzaam, altijd fijn in de vakantie. Het grote dakterras is een waardevolle toevoeging. We hebben niet één keer binnen gegeten en lekker buiten kunnen relaxen en lezen.

Abbiamo passato una sola notte nell'alloggio di Roberto ma ci ha fatto trovare tutto pronto anche per la colazione, oltre che per il check in, visto il nostro arrivo a notte tarda. Consigliato.

Anna est très professionnelle, arrangeante,réactive , appartement très bien décoré avec beaucoup de goût, environnement très calme, avec une superbe vue sur le lac depuis la terrasse avec pas mal d'escaliers à gravir, seul petit bémol, accès assez difficile en moto pour y arriver. Nous en gardons un très bon souvenir. Tania et Philippe.

Smještaj je bio jako ugodan, čist i predivno rustikalno uređen. Kuća se nalazi na mirnoj lokaciji s divnim pogledom na jezero, a upute koje smo dobili su nam omogućile da dođemo do nje bez problema. Također, u smještaju su nas dočekala svježa jaja, sok, slatkiši, pjenušac i drugi pokloni, što je vrlo lijepo i pohvalno. Svaka preporuka za ovaj smještaj ako želite miran i ugodan odmor, mi smo se osjećali kao kod kuće.

Vielen Dank von Herzen liebe Carla Lidia. Wir als familie mit zwei kleinen Kindern und hund haben uns sofort wohl gefühlt bei Carla... sie ist sehr hilfsbereit, zuvorkommend, diskret einfach ein Herzens Mensch. Sie hat es möglich gemacht, dass wir vorher in die Wohnung rein konnten und hat uns sogar etwas organisiert um noch weitere Tage da zu bleiben. Die Wohnung ist mit so viel Liebe, Kunst und kleinen schönen Details eingerichtet. Die Fotos werden der Wohnung nicht gerecht sie ist viel schöner mit vielen bequemen sitz möglichkeiten zum Lesen oder einfach entspannen. Die Aussicht auf dem Balkon im Schlafzimmer ist atemberaubende und der panoramaweg nach orta ist echt schön. Ihr bekommt außergewöhnliche Tips die außerhalb des normalen Tourismus sind... wir kommen so gerne wieder... danke von Herzen

Es war ein sehr schöner Aufenthalt. Die Lage, der Blick auf den See und der schöne Pool haben uns sehr gut gefallen. Einzig die Parkplätze sind etwas zu klein. Vielen Dank an Alberto, der ein ausgezeichneter Gastgaber ist.

It’s a no brainer to stay here. Fully immersed in the lake. Moon light at night on the water and during the day you watch classic boats. You’re on the quiet part of the lake and arguably the most beautiful part of it as we drove the whole lake for 5 days. You’re surrounded by Italians and more engaged with Italian culture here. You’re a 25min drive to Menaggio where you can car ferry. Car is highly recommended. I would go to a larger supermarket prior to coming as there only seemed to be mini limited markets around.

Nous avons passé 4 nuits dans un endroit absolument idéal pour se reposer. Le cadre est très calme, avec une magnifique vue sur le lac parfait pour déconnecter. Nous avions un logement avec une cuisine extérieure, ce qui était vraiment super agréable pour profiter pleinement de l’environnement. La chambre était très bien, confortable et propre. Le lieu est aussi parfaitement adapté pour un séjour avec un petit enfant : il y a un bac à sable, une balançoire, quelques jouets sur place, une chaise haute, un lit bébé… même des jeux de société pour les soirées en famille. Les propriétaires sont adorables, avec plein de petites attentions qui font la différence : à notre arrivée, des fruits frais, des yaourts, des bières… Et pour ceux qui aiment leur tranquillité, pas d’inquiétude, on ne les a presque pas vus Le seul petit point d’amélioration selon moi serait l’ajout d’une petite piscine ce serait vraiment la cerise sur le gâteau. Mais sinon, tout était top, un vrai petit coin de paradis

Luciana ist eine tolle Gastgeberin. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt und wurden sehr herzlich von Lucianas Eltern empfangen. Auch unsere Kinder waren sehr willkommen und es war alles da was man für Babys/ Kinder braucht! Die Unterkunft ist sauber, geräumig und die Küche ist sehr gut ausgestattet. Uns hat es an nichts gefehlt. In wenigen Minuten ist man am See und viele Ausflugsziele sind gut und schnell zu erreichen. Danke für die tolle Woche!

We had just a wonderful time in this beautifully furnished apartment. It was very clean, beds very comfortable - even the sleeper sofa. The location was very central. Shops, restaurants, train station in walking distance. We can highly recommend the apartment.

평화롭고 마조레 호수가 바로 눈 앞에 펼쳐지는 풍경이 아름다운 숙소. 그러나 진입로가 비좁아서 운전이 불편했어요. 첫날에는 운전이 익숙하지 않아서 차가 스크레치가 났지만 3일 째가 되니 익숙해졌고요. 미리 식품을 사서 투숙해야만 편리합니다. 공기가 무척 좋지만 청정지역이여서 그런지 모기, 개미들이 많았어요. 그래도 조용하게 휴식하기엔 최고의 숙소였습니다.

The place was beautiful, unique, on Lake Como with direct access to the lake. I think it’s the perfect place to relax, sunbath and enjoy the lake. Beautiful table to eat outside. It was also super clean ! We knew there would be stairs, it might have been a little bit more than we expected (80)! But the owner was really nice and offered to help us as I do not travel light ! Highly recommend renting a small car/Vespa as public transport are not reliable and the only Ubers available are the black uber which are more expensive. We had a série 4 bmw to give you an idea, I would say that if your car is much wider than that it will be a little tight to go down the driveway, but doable. The parking itself is huge. There is a portable A/C, we went in June and didn’t need it as the breeze from the lake was enough to keep us cool at night. Owner was also nice enough to let us do part of our wedding photoshoot at her beautiful Villa ! Unique experience, we really loved it !
