Old fireplace (out of order), triple exposures with lake view... Excellent stay at the p 'tiot Chalet at Sylvie's in Chablais in Haute Savoie. The cottage is very comfortable, well decorated, very nice interior finishes, and fresh (pleasant when returning from hikes). The garden area is nice too. We had a lovely week hiking. Sylvie has been great tips for hiking:-) We discussed many topics (Mountain, Beekeeping, sport, etc...) with Sylvie and her husband. The accommodation is very well located in Le Chablais. Shops nearby in the small village of Armoy (convenience store, bakery, butcher shop and cheese shop), and an Intermarché 5mn drive away. It is a very good starting point for beautiful hikes (about 40 minutes by car max to access the hiking departures). The lake is nearby too. No complaints about our stay. We're holding the address for future stays. Thanks Sylvie:-)

Very quiet and new apartment in beautiful residence. Bus right next door and city within walking distance for walkers (about 20 minutes). Numerous opportunities for tours and hikes within a 30 km radius. We have excellent memories of our stay.

We had a great time at Fabrice’s and his families tiny house. It might be tiny (like the size of a shipping container) but there’s everything in it you need and it’s clean. The highlight is the lovely terrace with a view right towards lac leman. Fabrice is very nice & helpful and living with his family directly next to the tiny house. Anyway we felt that our privacy was deeply respected. The neighborhood is quiet (we slept like babies) and the Harbour/ port with restaurants is only ten minutes by foot away. Total recommendation!

Maelle and her family were very welcoming and gave us many recommendations for hiking and swimming. The accommodation was great, a little smaller than in the photos, and it was quite warm in the attic room. But there was a fan, which was nice. Overall, the stay was really excellent and we recommend it without hesitation!

We stayed for 7 nights in the house, two adults and two children. The house is very cozy and quiet, it has practically everything you need to spend a few quiet days and visit the area. It is equipped with heated floors and has a great fireplace in the living room with a closing window, so there is no smoke once lit. It also has a garden that we could not enjoy due to the time of year (winter), but surely in spring and summer it will be great. We had a small problem with the shower and hot water, but Christian resolved it quickly. You need a car to get around, but almost everything is close, less than an hour or an hour and a quarter away. There is a Carrefour about 10 minutes away by car and also towns with a variety of shops and restaurants, such as Evian and Thonon-les-Bains.
