Emilian and Anka are wonderful hosts who we had a great conversation with over tuica when we arrived and breakfast when we left in the sunny gazebo he built. We wish we could have stayed longer and not need to rush off after breakfast (which was lovely homemade and local produce). Emilian gave us specific instructions to drive so that we wouldn't get lost on the somewhat unmarked and unpaved road leading to the house. It was not a problem at all though for us. The home is full of character just like the hosts. The cats and dog stay out of the way if you prefer not to have them around but they're great friendly cats. Also geese and chicken in the back garden! If we find ourselves again in this part of Romania, we would most definitely stay again!

We spent a few days with friends at Pension Vlad and we felt just like home! The house has all the necessary amenities, it was very clean, each room has its own bathroom, the kitchen has everything needed and Vlad was always at our disposal! Everything was excellent! A place we will definitely return to in the future!

We visited the Transfagarasan road and stayed ad Parvu. It was very clean and surprising handcrafted wood chill out area. They also did a barbacue for the guests. It was in the middle of a green landscape with clean fresh air. A good experience.

very kind and friendly owner. The perfect location with mountain views. Very clean and tastefully appointed guesthouse room. You feel like your grandmother in the countryside, see cows, goats, sheep and of course cats and cuddly fog

A really good place to stay on the Transfăgărășan-Road. We stayed here one night and we would recommend it! The checkin was smooth, the room comfy and the shared kitchen good for cooking.
