It’s like going back in time (with all the modern amenities), life slows down and the only thing that matters is a stroll, a swim and eating some freshly picked tomatoes from the chateau gardens with olive oil and balsamic vinegar. We loved our stay in Le petit prince. It is a lovely place for two, with a secluded terrace from where you can see deer in the morning and evening. The pool is great too! Lee, you took great care of us during our stay. Chateau Mareuil is a real pearl <3

We had a great time with the family. The house is ideal for a quiet getaway in the countryside. The land is fully fenced, which is very convenient when, like us, you travel with several dogs. The interior of the house matches the description and contains everything you need. Finally, the person who welcomed us was very friendly, which is always appreciated. In summary, I recommend it without any hesitation.

We spent 8 very pleasant days. Living room, dining / kitchen are rather large and well equipped. The number of bedrooms was satisfactory for us 8, the 2 downstairs bedrooms being larger and benefiting from their own shower room. The east/west exposure of the house makes it clear and you protect yourself from the heat by closing the shutters on either side. The outdoor spaces are really good: large terrace with two tables and umbrellas for eating out, and large lawn to feel offshore and let the kids run. The hamlet is very quiet. The proximity to the beach is a real asset for young and old, with a beautiful viewpoint on the Creuse, a welcoming lawn with shade if you wish, enough to buy ice cream or even eat, and rent paddle board etc. The sites of the Valley of the painters are very close by car: Gargilesse, Crozant, Chambon. And Argenton/C, the Eguzon Dam. Very beautiful and interesting.

Perfect accommodation, very well-equipped, new, clean... One small reservation, you have to like soft mattresses.

the Moulin du Petit Balabran is the perfect place to rest, disconnect and enjoy nature. it's a privilege to be able to enjoy such a beautiful setting! the house is well equipped, no TV or internet but beautiful walks to do around (the house of the Parc de la Brenne in Rosnay, Chateau Guillaume in Lignac, the restaurant "le Léon"...). arrival and departure independently, we did not meet the hosts but Celestine with whom we Communicated was very available, responsive, kind and good advice. I would recommend it without second thought and would happily return!

We had a great time with friends with kids. The house and its estate are perfectly suited for these occasions. We were 6 adults and 6 children, the rooms and bathrooms are perfect for this number. The pool is more than pleasant, as well as the terrace. We would recommend it in a second!
