Apartment holiday rentals in Arecibo

Abner and Virelys home was outstanding. To begin with, if you want an authentic and chill PR experience you must stay in the Barceloneta/Arecibo region, and more specifically the Islote barrio. It’s heaven! Their house was immaculate. The oceanfront provided sea breezes and waves crashing that you could enjoy from their awesome balcony while drinking your coffee at sunrise or your wine at sunset. Truly relaxing. AC in the bedrooms made sleeping very comfortable. The kitchen was fully stocked so we could stay in to cook when needed. Abner brought us cocoanuts from his tree and we had fresh cocoanut juice. There are also horses behind the house and many in the area to see. They were readily available for any questions/concerns and provided suggestions for many things to experience in the area. Do yourself a favor when in PR, stay at Abner and Virelys.

We checked in a little later and so we did not notice the evening of check-in just how close this was to the beach access right up the road. We were only staying one night, but the place had everything we needed. The beach up the way had an awesome, safe little tide pool for swimming. The reef broke the big waves up and it was great to swim and relax. The lighthouse and views were incredible. Check-in was easy. There was a keypad, but the lockbox is what we used. Overall, super easy and just what we needed for our brief stay. Had all necessary amenities. There’s a restaurant up the way but they were closing right as we were showing up, so maybe next time.

A great place to experience a typical neighborhood instead of a hotel. Walking distance to some dramatic cliffs and a wild, rocky coastline. Lots of historic sites and architecture, good food at road stands and some fine restaurant, forests and swimming beaches are all withing short drives. One needs to get used to the roads in Puerto Rico which are narrow and curvy. The small apartment was a great place to hang out, all necessities (comfy large bed, fridge, clean sink, cooking burner etc.) were covered. Sitting on the deck for breakfast or relaxing at sunset with a view over the tree-lined meadow and listening to the songs of the coquis (native tree frog) was wonderful! The people in Cebradillas and all of Puerto Rico are wonderful, warm, friendly, easy to talk to and always helpful.

We definitely enjoyed our stay! They have a very beautiful, industrial style that just works with all the decor. Free of clutter but I didn’t feel like there was anything we needed that was missing. So all the essentials covered.

Stood here 2day the place is very nice and clean very comfortable if you need to relax enjoy your beautiful view. This is definitely the place for you just what I needed But if you don’t drive like myself, there’s not much around in walking distance, it is a nice neighborhood you definitely hear the roosters lol which I didn’t mind if I have one complete,, it would be that the beach is really not a swimming beach and I was recommended not to swim there other than that the place was exactly what I was looking for. I did enjoy it host were very responsive anytime I text if I had to stay again, I would.

Our stay here was absolutely amazing! The house was so clean it made me feel so comfortable. The small details really make a difference. House was nicely stocked. Communication was great, extremely responsive, easy and clear instructions. Would recommend this place to anyone as everyone.

Great place to stay super neat, beautifully decorated, rooms comfortable and has parking space. Rooftop has 3 seating areas that oversees the beautiful ocean view. During the daytime you have your coffee & during the night it’s your wine under the stars. Visit El Platanal for delicious PR cuisine. Breakfast at Bermudas is walking distance as you walk along the broadwalk. Albert is an amazing host!!! Thank you for making my birthday getaway a wonderful experience. My son & I had a BLAST!!

Place was clean. We were very comfortable and happy. Host was very responsive with our questions. Definitely will book here again!!

Beautiful home. Very comfortable, clean, had a fully equipped kitchen, had outside chairs for the beach and instructions on how to get to the beach. The AC was great and the bathroom was outstanding! Will return!

Cristina was a fantastic host. She quickly responded to my messages and even recommended some activities to do in the town of Arecibo. Her place was neat and clean. Cristina’s place is a short ten minute drive (approx) to Islote in Arecibo where there are excellent restaurants (Playa Brava is an excellent restaurant). I highly recommend Cristina’s place to anyone who wish to have great Airbnb experience.

The home is beautiful. There is lots of natural light, it feels spacious and has an ocean view. The bathroom is gorgeous. As others mentioned, in the master bedroom the a/c wasn't necessary because the ocean breeze and overhead fan were wonderful. in the living area I found it to get very hot very early until I figured out to pull down the blind in the NE corner window at night. the morning sun just hits that window intensely.

My only regret is that I didn’t stay longer!! Aviary 1 was a fantastic, clean Airbnb with strong A/C, water pressure, and lots of space. Amarilys was so clear in the directions of getting to the house and sent so many recommendations of places to see in the area. Thank you!!

The place was very nice. We particularly enjoyed the private beach that was a short walk through the bush to the water.

Miguel’s place was almost exactly what we expected. It was relaxing, quiet and private. The pool was the perfect temperature not to hot not to cold. The outdoor shower and bathtub were beautiful. And even though it wasn’t as private as we would have prefered, we didn’t shower or bathe once inside. Only thing I will mention. We weren’t expecting stairs and they were very steep stairs at that, going up to the bedroom/bathroom. The AC blows cold and the coffee maker works. I highly recommend Miguel’s place. Also I highly recommend Miguel. We had no issues throughout our stay but he was responsive to every little question. One morning when we were headed out the battery on the car seemed to be dead, he wasted no time in coming over to attempt to jump us.(it was unsuccessful as the rental car had just given up the ghost and ended up being towed.) All in all I highly recommend his place money well spent for a get away with my wife. Thanks Miguel!

Very clean and extremely helpful and responsive host would definitely recommend for anyone wanting to stay in the mountains with a wonderful hot tub

Very clean and nice. The facilities are excellent for the whole family. The playground is well distributed and orderly. The pool is beautiful, the water is warm and cool. It has a heater, laundry area. The host was always attentive when we wrote to him and he answered us kindly. The truth is that we hope to return soon and it is totally recommended.

Hector’s place is just as advertised, decorated with an island touch - perfect for a solo or couple’s retreat. It’s a 2 min drive to the beach and 5 mins drive to town where a lot of restaurants are located. Theres also an art fair in town and salsa at the dugout bar on Thursdays, which my husband and I thoroughly enjoyed! Would highly recommend!

Great place for a getaway

This is a very nice place, it’s close to restaurants and the beaches. Check in was very smooth and the place was super clean and equipped.

The place is close to the main beaches of Jobos. There are many restaurant options nearby. Janet is very attentive and available when you need her.

Jackie and Jose’s place had everything we needed for our weekend getaway. The place was fully furnished, clean, spacious, great views, private, and with great amenities. There are a couple of bars/restaurants in close proximity, as well as a local beach nearby. We highly recommend staying in this apartment!
