Having recently undergone a major programme of renovation our 200 year old cottage successfully combines all the essentials for comfortable modern living with the charm and character of years gone by. Great care has been taken to preserve many original features. The cottage is ideal for couples and families and children of all ages are very welcome.

Lovely 200 year old fully modernised cottage with fully fitted modern kitchen for guests to use. We provide a food cupboard with tea, coffee and cereal etc. We leave bread and milk , and soft drinks. If you require anything else, please let us know . Convenient downstairs toilet and an ensuite upstairs . Free wifi. 'Lilac Tree' is a quaint two bedroom cottage located in the historic village of Greyabbey on the shores of Strangford Lough, Ards Peninsula, opposite the beautiful Cistercian Abbey. The cottage dates back to 1860 and has a spacious living room with wood-burning stove, seperate kitchen with dining table, two small cosy bedrooms & a modern bathroom. Accommodates 4 guests with additional accommodation available for a further 2 guests. A wood-fired hot tub can be set up for an extra charge of £120

Ballymacashen Cottage is a 19th century traditional Irish cottage set in a rural setting in the heart of County Down. Relax and enjoy this cosy cottage, with a wood burning stove and quiet surroundings, or enjoy a variety of outdoor activities on offer in the area. We are spoilt with local pubs and restaurants in the nearby villages of Balloo and Lisbane, but the cottage is also only 13miles from Belfast City Centre. The cottage has 1 bathroom, 1 bedroom, a kitchen and living room.

Bramble Cottage, hidden gem in Comber near Belfast

Irish Cottage Relax and enjoy this beautiful Irish barn conversion that dates back 200 years. Converted in 2023, this old Irish traditional barn is just 10 miles from Belfast and 2 miles from the busy market town of Comber. This hidden gem is a tardis at nearly 1000sq ft and tucked up a country lane surrounded by fields. Spend summertime in the garden patio watching the sunsets and winters with the roaring stove, watching the wildlife around us, and the stars at night.

It is the perfect base to escape to the country, enjoy amazing wildlife and the wider great outdoors that Co. Down has to offer. The well equipped comfortable cottage sleeps five and has direct access to Strangford Lough, a secret bird hide situated on the shore line with a secluded wooded BBQ, fire pit and picnic area for guest to enjoy.

My place is close to restaurants and dining, family-friendly activities and art and culture. My place is good for couples, solo adventurers, business travellers and families. If you love nature, beautiful walks and fishing then this would be an ideal location for you! Game of Thrones fans would also think it a good spot. Please note there is one bedroom with a queen bed downstairs and a day bed which can be made into two singles upstairs. There is no door between.
