Salem and his team are juste amazing! They make you feel at home since the beginning and the camp feels so welcoming. We were able to go on day trip around the desert with Mohammed, his nephew, who was very helpful and kind. I definitely recommend it, it's the best you can find in Wadi Rum for sure!

The experience was amazing. At the beginning we were welcomed with a cup of tea in Salems house. After that we went straight to the camp and it was one of the best experience in our life. The camp is located in a beautiful area with a lot of stunning views. The tents are clean and big enough. The “living area” is also clean and very chilly. Bathrooms are extremely clean, there is a lot of toilet paper, big showers and showering staff. The jeep tour with Salem was also amazing, well though and completely met our expectations. Breakfast and dinner were tasty and there were a lot of food to choose from. To sum up, Salem is a amazing and open person with a very good English level. It was as a pleasure to meet him. Highly recommend this place!

We stayed one night. Salem kindly picked us up by 4x4 at the village where we parked our car . Listing (tent) was as described. The common area was friendly, with a few other tourists and local guides. Nice tea around the fire. For 10 JOD per person, we were able to enjoy a delicious and very hearty dinner. Many activities were offered, we chose the next day to return to the village on the back of camels, for 30 JOD each, or 15 JOD/hour. A great experience and a very friendly host!

Located inside wadi rum. Honest host. Did not ask for any more money or try to make you pay more unlike the rest of Jordan. Probably the bezmst place i have stayed in Jordan. Tour os amazing, breakfast and dinner amazing. Everything is just 100/100.

Zaid was an excellent host, him and his fellow bedouin brothers and cousins welcomed us with incredible hospitality. I was in Wadi Rum three years and came back because of how magnificent it is. Wadi Rum was my favorite place I visited in Jordan, and Aemn, Bashar and their family showed me an incredible and unforgettable experience in Wadi Rum. I had so much fun exploring the desert and seeing so many beautiful places. The camp was very nice and had comfortable accommodations. I especially enjoyed having tea and watching the stars after dinner. Aemn and his family are great people and I highly recommend them to anyone looking to visit Wadi Rum.

We had a great day and night in Wadi Ram, Rum Planet Camp, which prepared a very generous dinner and breakfast for us, and arranged the driver and vehicle to take us on the tour, although in the desert the boss had prepared a thick comforter and hot water bag for us, so it was not cold at night, it was nice toasty fire in the lobby, very warm and highly recommended.

Amazing tent to stay! Awwad and his family were amazing hosts. We stayed 2 nights during our trip to Jordan, and they were the best 2 nights of the whole trip! We also did the 4x4 tour, sandboarding, and camel riding — all totally worth it, especially the 4x4 where you get to explore the whole desert of Wadi Rum drink tea, visit hidden gems, meet the local bedouins, and enjoy a special lunch. At dinner and breakfast you'll be having an amazing Bedouin food experience. Definitely worth the experience!

The place was amazing and Omar was a spectacular host. He was very responsive and friendly with superb communication. The dinner and breakfast that was included in the accommodation was fantastic - especially the Bedouin dinner was one of a kind experience. The place was beautiful & the location was out of this world. We were taken such good care of by the staff who went over and beyond to make sure we had a great & comfortable time. Omar also helped us with organizing tours around Wadi Rum and was very flexible, helpful & understanding throughout the trip as we were a big group. It was one of the best experiences & we can’t thank Omar and the staff enough for making us feel so welcomed & making sure we had an excellent time.

It’s hard to express how good of a trip I had. Rakan was friendly, generous, and communicative. His instructions were perfect, picked me up and dropped me off right on time, and took me on a rock climbing tour. I have a lot of climbing experience and he obviously knew what he was doing. Joy of Life camp was absolutely beautiful, the host, Eid, and the cook, Mohammed, were truly a joy to stay with and I felt right at home on my first night of 6. The camp is set in a beautiful location next to a large rock formation, good bathrooms, hot water, perfect tents, great tea, and meals were delicious, particularly the Bedouin Zarb. The views from the camp are spectacular, looking out on the rock formations of Wadi Rum, beautiful night skys. They will help you setting up any tour you’d like to take. These are some of the kindest and most welcoming people I have ever met, and treat you like family. 100% recommended, stay at Joy of Life, I will be going back. Thank you Rakan, Eid, and Mohammed ❤️
