House in Urubamba -Private Pool and Mountains.

DanielRating, 5 stars1 month ago
This house sits in a quiet Urubamba neighborhood. The instructions to get there were accurate. The only issue we had was announcing our presence to the host, as there is no doorbell. We had to exchange a few messages with Daniel to gain entry. To his credit, Daniel said he will look into addressing this issue quickly. It is a large house with a large outdoor area as well as, arranged very nicely with a pool (that we haven’t used), pool table and lots of sitting and eating areas. Inside the place is beautiful, arranged on 3 levels. The kitchen had oil, salt, pepper, some bottled water and quick dissolving coffee provided. The host provided bread toaster when requested. Hot water was provided using solar power and took a bit of time for the water to warm up and the pressure was somewhat low. We had enough bedrooms for everyone with plenty of bathrooms with soap, shampoo and body wash. Overall we had a great experience. I would recommend this place to anyone.

Cherry Cottage

NicoleRating, 5 stars2 months ago
I can't say enough good things about our stay. This three-bedroom spot was perfect for our family, which included kids and grandparents. The place felt inviting and homey, with plenty of space for everyone to spread out. The kids loved having their own room, and use of the playground right outside the front door. We enjoyed the fully-equipped kitchen so we could cook our own meals, and the half-bath on the first floor was convenient when spending the day in-and-out. We also felt safe and secure as the community is staffed and gated. The location was beautiful and the weather was perfect, allowing us to enjoy ample time outside. We didn't bring our dogs, but we easily could have, especially because there was an enclosed patio at the back of the home. There was space to park our vehicle and we were a close drive from the main area, where we happened upon some festivities for the holiday and enjoyed meals and drinks at a few local restaurants, cafes, and breweries. Highly recommend!

Casita Montaña de Luz (Little Mountain House of Light)

CarmenRating, 5 stars9 months ago
Phenomenal Stay in Yucay Everything about our stay was exactly as described, if not better. The house itself was absolutely serene and amazing—such a peaceful retreat. The attention to detail in the home was outstanding, making our experience truly special. Exaltación, the caretaker, went above and beyond in every way, ensuring we felt welcome and well taken care of throughout our visit. Rafaela, the cohost, was amazing and incredibly responsive. She even came by after we checked in to personally welcome us and make sure everything was up to par, which added a really nice personal touch. If you have the chance, don't miss the opportunity to have their chef prepare a meal—it's an experience you won’t forget! We also opted for the fireplace, sauna, and hot/cold tub for a small extra fee, and it was absolutely worth it. These amenities added a perfect touch of relaxation to our stay, and we highly recommend taking advantage of them. Amazing stay!

The most beautiful and homely cottage in Urubamba

HelenRating, 5 stars44 months ago
This is a wonderful base for exploring the Sacred Valley. We stayed for a week here and loved it. A beautifully decorated home full of textiles and antiques, the house is set in a wooded garden of eucalyptus trees shared with a few other houses. Our kids loved running around and playing in the trees. Urubamba has a great bakery (ask Lucia for tips). The Incan ruins and local sites are a short drive away. We did a wonderful walk to the Perolniyoc waterfalls and ruins. Highly recommended!

Eco Bamboo House

FrederickRating, 5 stars3 months ago
A peaceful and comfortable stay with an amazing view of the valley. I enjoyed an independent stay in Urubamba in the bamboo house with its own fruitful garden. Only a 5min walk to the nearest shop that accepts payment by cash and card. And a 15min walk to the town square. This is the perfect location if you need a base for going hiking or sightseeing at Machu Picchu. The host is great, checking in on me if everything is fine, and even bringing a bowl of freshly picked fruit from the garden. You won’t find a better host! My favourite aspect of the house is the master bedroom. A big, comfortable bed and an amazing view of the valley and its peaks surrounded it. There is also a little balcony outside the bedroom where you can enjoy the view from even more.

Mystical Home in the Sacred Valley

LaurenRating, 5 stars12 months ago
Catherine's home is truly a magical stay. It's quiet, which was important for our family of four, it has very beautiful views and a lovely garden. We were able to walk easily to several restaurants in town and Catherine helped us find a fantastic local guide and made great suggestions for things to do.

Casa mak Archaeological Park

LuceroRating, 5 stars1 month ago
The whole experience was really good. Peter was attentive to our concerns and willing to help, giving us recommendations and showing us the whole place. The location is perfect for a quiet and private stay and is a few blocks from the main road if you need something urgent. The house has natural lighting, it is quite warm, the kitchen is spacious and has everything you need to prepare food. The rooms have very comfortable beds. The cleanliness was a plus. We really enjoyed the campfire at night. In addition, Peter took us for a walk and we were able to see the surroundings, the Inca platforms with cultivation terraces, the colonial mill and the cave paintings. We were delighted. We'll definitely be back.

Casitas del Valle Sagrado

MelissaRating, 5 stars1 month ago
A magical corner in the heart of Sacred Valley ✨ What an unforgettable experience! I stayed in some charming cabañitas in Urubamba and I'm totally in love. Surrounded by nature, with stunning views of the mountains and a silence that invites inner peace, this is a perfect place to disconnect and reconnect with yourself. The cabanas are tastefully decorated, combining the rustic with the cozy, and they are not missing any details. Every morning I woke up to birdsong and a dreamy view. Jessica, our host, was just amazing. He helped us every time and even hosted a tour of Incas buggy that was one of the best experiences of the trip. Her warmth and good disposition made us feel at home from the moment we were. It's definitely the kind of place you want to come back to again and again. Ideal for a romantic getaway, a personal retreat or just to breathe pure air in a unique setting.

Unique accommodation in an Inca house

ColinRating, 5 stars7 months ago
Perfect location just off the main square with beautiful views on the mountain top ruins from your balcony entrance. Walk to everything and enjoy all the ruins and hikes. Only one has a fee and you will not have many tourists at the others...none in mornings or late afternoons. This is a very historic town and you really get a great feel for how the locals exist. The apartment is very quite, bright, comfy and spotless. Communication is amazing ...they respond immediately. They were nice enough to store my luggage while I hiked Machu Picchu and even rescued my eyeglasses I forgot at a restaurant. Spend at least a few nights here...I feel this town gets overlooked and its one of the reasons you will enjoy it.
