This is a beautiful airbnb in a forested location; peaceful and quiet. There is ample seating outside to enjoy the natural surroundings. It’s a very charming place to stay; we loved it!

Wonderful weekend in Dwarsgracht, despite the rain We had a fantastic weekend in the cottage on the Dwarsgracht, despite the weather not always cooperating. The cottage was comfortable and cozy, and the location is beautiful — even with rain it is enjoyable in this area. What really made the stay special was Eva's hospitality. She was incredibly relaxed and open, even with our animal gang. We immediately felt welcome and comfortable. It's so nice when you come somewhere and find that you are not only tolerated, but really seen and appreciated. Thank you Eva, for your warmth and hospitality! We'd love to come back — hopefully with some more sun next time. 🌦️🐾

We had a great week at Geert's place. The location is great for bike tours in the area. In general, this area is definitely worth a trip. The accommodation is fantastically beautiful on a small lake. Everything is clean and well maintained. Very stylishly furnished and super clean. Geert is very friendly and helpful. All in all, a very successful holiday. Thank you. We'll be back...

This was such a peaceful and quiet place. The gardens are beautiful. The living space was spacious.

Beautiful cottage, beautiful garden, beautiful rural area. Very good, various and abundant breakfast. The mattress was really comfortable. Annie and her husband are extremely gentle and helping but still respecting the privacy of the guests.

Wonderful stay in a pleasant and very quiet holiday park near Ruinen. Great place for beautiful walks and bike rides. An address to rest well and recharge, partly thanks to the singing of various birds that we heard. House is bright and spacious and equipped with every comfort. We'd love to come back!

We were with a group of friends of 10 and had a lovely stay at Aleida and Rick's AirBnB. It had enough space, plenty of showers and toilets and each room had its own sink. The place was large yet homely. Highly recommended if you want to explore Friesland with a group! Very nice host too, smooth contact and very nice thinking along. Despite the changeable weather, we really had a great weekend here!

The check-in was straightforward and all the important information was super prepared. The highlight is the view over the water and the terrace, from which you can access the lake directly via a ladder. We were already there for the second time and would be happy to come back.

The Blue House is really something very special. Mieke and Arnold have decorated it very nicely and it is perfectly equipped! I immediately felt very comfortable and enjoyed my stay very much! If I ever come back to Giethoorn, I will definitely want to stay here again 🥰

It was just great! One of the most beautiful accommodations we have visited so far. With so much attention to detail, Janet and Auke have created a feel-good oasis that leaves nothing to be desired. A wonderful place to relax, recharge your batteries and enjoy both the beautiful home and the surroundings to the fullest. Niko’s Garden house is a very special place to stay in the residential area close to centre of Groningen. It is surrounded by blocks of houses, still provides an island of peace and real retreat after heavy day of sightseeing, walking… Niko was very helpful and supportive during our visit, and we would highly recommend his house to travelers who prefer an authentic accommodation experience as an alternative to hotel room. Beautiful and clean Airbnb. Anything you need is present. Communication with Yvonne is great, she responds quickly. You have your own entrance and garden, and a lot of privacy.

We had an excellent stay! We were visiting family and exploring Friesland and this place was the perfect place for us to stay while doing so! Hella is so welcoming and greeted us when we arrived. The location was peaceful and relaxing with a beautiful view of a pond in the backyard and there were beautiful trails near the Airbnb. The Airbnb was an excellent home away from home while we traveled and if we were visiting in the area again we would definitely want to stay there again!

We greatly enjoyed this stay. It is a beautiful cottage with fantastic views. Breakfast is perfect. Furthermore, we have also experienced the contact with Jitske as very pleasant. Tips: enjoy the bubbles in the jacuzzi, rent bikes to explore the area and take a walk through the Barefoot Path! We will definitely come back 😇

Ideal place as a starting point to explore Assen! The airbnb is spacious, clean and quiet. Good value for money. The center of Assen is within walking distance +/-15min. The asserbos is in the backyard and there are plenty of activities in the area.

Jannie and Arnold were great hosts, Arnold met us when we drove in and showed us the house. They gave us tips for restaurants in the area and supplied is with everything we needed for our night stay. The place is beautiful and peaceful, 10 minutes drive from Groningen. Would recommend for a peaceful weekend away.
