Blue Azur is a small boutique hotel just off the main road, north of the more developed areas and neaby some bigger hotels such as Vanilla and Exxora. It has large rooms, clean bathrooms and a small pool as well as a good restaurant catering for three meals a day. The owners and shift managers are great and responsive. The food is good and we enjoyed many a good meal there. They do a fair job of chocolat au pains and croissants and all meals are prepared fresh. The bar is well stocked with local offerings and they have a small variety of international wines. Be aware of the corkage charge which doesn't make it worth bringing one's own wine. The other hotels are within walking distance if one wants to get some variety in terms of restaurants. Sakalav diving is also nearby which is why we chose this location. Can recommend.

I stayed for two nights at this beautiful place and I was so happy about. It's a bit far away from the mainstreet but you can always get a Tuk Tuk to leave the Hotel. The Restaurant was amazing. I felt very comfortable. Thanks to the team!

Very spacious and pleasant accommodation. Quiet. Always someone available as needed. Tuc tuc are also present if necessary to get around. We had a pleasant stay at the mahitat sara 😊
