Beachfront holiday rentals in Antrim County

A great place to stay! The perfect sized little cabin with a great dock setup for our 20’ bay boat. Butch’s, right down the road, has a free dock that is conveniently located for this place. We enjoyed going out on Clam Lake, Torch Lake, and Torch River but there is much more to explore by water. We cooked most of our meals at the cabin and Julie has all the kitchen essentials & a gas grill. I was grateful Julie had bath and kitchen towels available for guest use. The next door neighbors were really kind. We felt this cabin offered great value for the money!

We had an amazing stay in an absolutely beautiful location. Shawn was an amazing host that went above and beyond to make sure we had everything we needed and to make sure our stay was exceptional!

Best Airbnb ever!! The location and view are incomparable and the house is comfortable and well-stocked. You could spend all day staring at the ever-changing lake from inside or from out on the deck, in the yard, or on the perfectly situated balcony. However, if you venture down to the beach you will be rewarded with even more stunning views and peaceful walks along the shore. I felt like we had the entire lake to ourselves most of the time. The sunsets are truly amazing! The Eastport market is convenient and offers beer, wine, liquor and a small deli counter as well as toiletries and pet supplies. I was especially pleased with the selection of Michigan wines—the Black Star Farms Pinot Noir Rose is a must! We also enjoyed getting fresh pastries, coffee, tea, burritos, and tamales at Providence Organic Farm and Market Cafe. Overall, I can’t imagine a better place to spend a fun family vacation or a quiet, restorative retreat!

Beautiful stay and a beautiful place

Very nice, clean, and great location! Visited in the winter but definitely adding this to my list for summer too since it’s on the lake!

The view from the deck is almost 180 degrees, nice dock for swimming and tiring up our boat. We appreciated the firewood for the fire pit. The house itself is definitely a cottage, not a finished home, and is described accurately. It’s comfortably furnished with a well equipped kitchen, lots of windows with great views. Be prepared for interior stairs to get the bedrooms and low ceilings. We were very pleased with the rental and had a great week.

Everything you need to enjoy your stay is provided. Way beyond many places. Stocked kitchen and bathroom. Property is on be of a kind. Elk Lake is a treasure. Enjoy.

Truly was a beautiful condo. The view and peaceful surroundings were amazing. The restaurants in the complex that Holly recommended were amazing. We also loved the beach associated with staying at the condo. We will be back again.

We loved our stay at Ryan’s place! Perfect stay for Shanty Creek and even Boyne. Very clean and comfortable with plenty of room, and gorgeous views!

As always, Shanty Creek did not disappoint! The view was spectacular, with full fall colors popping! We got to walk the Legend golf course several times, and the colors were amazing on that, too. This unit is cozy and absolutely perfect for a couple getting away for a few days. We would definitely return to this unit any time of year!

We had an awesome stay here. The location could not have been more perfect for us, as we were in town for a wedding and everyone was staying at the hotel. It was so nice to be able to walk to everywhere we went at Shanty too. The condo was super clean and looked exactly like the pictures. Very spacious. Getting into the unit was very easy and it was great to be on the main level so we didn’t have to carry our luggage upstairs. We loved the golf courses and how close they were to the AirBnb as well. It was also nice to be only a few minutes away from downtown Bellaire. We would definitely come back and stay here again!

This was our first trip with our 4 young adult children, their spouses, & our grand baby's 1st vacation. Absolutely thoughtful and intentional details to make our stay fun and cozy: yard games, kayaks, beach lounge chairs, fire pit and Adirondack chairs, cozy blankets to snuggle on the sofas, and spacious property allowed us to have privacy yet spend special time together. Also, the dining for 10 was just perfect with all the kitchen appliances and supplies to make special home cooked meal.

Holly communicated very well and answered questions very quickly. The home is beautiful and clean. Outside wild turkey and around 10 deer ran through to the valley below. It’s close to the shops and the lodge. We walked to dinner and drinks. I would definitely book again and would recommend this place and Holly!!! Was a beautiful rustic log cottage. One of the most stocked kitchens of any air bnb I have ever stayed at. Very clean and open living space area. Beds were all very comfy. Plenty of windows and fans supplied to keep it cool and well ventilated on the hot days. Outdoor area with bbq and fire pit was very nice. The water front is stunning. Turquoise waters with a white sand bottom. We enjoyed watching the many little fish swim by and going swimming of course. Shallow and great for small children as well. 45 minutes from traverse city to do any shopping. We are already trying to plan when we can come back next summer :) Thank you for the wonderful stay.

We stayed for one night on a work trip. It was nice that there were 5 bedrooms so nobody had to share a room. Also many bathrooms. We had a great night of team bonding around the fire pit with a beautiful view of the lake. It was everything we expected it to be, thanks!

My family was ready for this this vacation, it’s been very trying times for us with sickness within our family. Maureen’s home was very beautiful and spotless when we got there. The home had plenty of room where we we’re not overcrowded. We had 3 different families, my 2 daughters and their husbands, and granddaughter, each family had their own bedroom and bathroom. Maureen house was centrally located to Traverse City, Petoskey, and Gaylord. The view was spectacular and travel to the wineries was very scenic. My 3 year old granddaughter had a blast, Maureen had plenty of toys for her and she loved the swing set. Maureen communicated very well with us and I never had to wait long a answer from her. She also had a blast in the lake as she loves the water. Maureen’s house is a very beautiful home and my family would definitely go back there. I highly recommend her house. The Rybinski family

Beautiful clean home. Great view from every window; we love being at the lake. Very responsive host. Even offered the convenience of free grocery delivery. Amenities were considerate for the number of guests the home allows. Check out was pretty simple (which was nice). Will return in the future!

Our friend group has been renting homes all over the United States for 1 weekend a year to see each other. We’ve been friends for 50-60 years. This home was one of our favorites for so many reasons. It was presented and appointed tastefully, yet warm and inviting, it was clean, the bedding and linens were very nice, the kitchen was stocked well with dishes, glasses, cooking ware, etc. The bathrooms were updated and clean. The host had provided products that are not usually available at rentals. The location is exceptional, you can hang out at the home or visit several neighboring towns. Elk Rapids has several spots to explore. Michigan being our home State , was exciting for those living in other States to visit this beautiful area and feel so relaxed at this property. Kudos to the Host.

We had an awesome stay in the Boyneland Condo! Easy access to ski right outside our door, everything was as described and the place was perfect. Great space for our group of 8☺️

We had 3 families, grandparents, kids and grandkids under 4. The home and amenities were outdated and fairly used but were usable and safe. The space was nice and open inside allowing for all of us to gather or spread out. The rooms were perfect for our size family. The beach was great to enjoy the sun all day! the dock was also nice and had a lot of toys and chairs for all ages. the south-most dock was aged and wood flexed quite a bit and required caution for adults. there was no power working to the dock for charging a boat battery unfortunately. There was a outlet but it was not operational. there was ample parking for our 3 vehicles and towns were close enough for a quick trip in for dinner or ice cream. Overall the amount of space to enjoy was great for various weather conditions and family dynamics. would recommend but would also like to see a few maintenance updates.

Excellent host, Michael & Kelly were so nice. Check in & check out was easy. The cabin was exactly as described in the listing. It is a great place for family and children. The lake is quiet and they have canoeing, kayaks as well as fishing. I recommend this resort for relaxing lakeside experiences. The shopping in Charlevoix, Petosky, Glen Arbor and Traverse City was better than Door Country. The beaches along the coastlines were also a must see.
