Raylin's Eco-Surf Beach Camping

DominikRating, 5 stars31 months ago
Raylin was very hospitable and open-minded, we really felt at home there. The tents are not on the beach due to construction but we could stay at his place in the mountain with a superb view. The village community is super friendly and the mountains and beaches very beautiful.

Bring Your Own Tent - Fast Wifi & Work Space

JillRating, 5 stars15 months ago
Great stay at a discount price! Anthony was so overly helpful and generous! Gave me a ride to show me around first day and helped me get a taxi back to airport. Safe neighborhood (especially for a solo female traveler) and easy walking distance (or local bus) to many beaches. Starbucks was .7 miles away - bonus! Was even offered a clean room with closet and private bathroom because of the rain. Simple room, but perfect for what I needed. Stay here, totally worth it!

Tent Retreat - Fast Wifi & Work Space

BonniRating, 5 stars64 months ago
Anthony is a great host, very helpful and want to make your stay as good as possible. I rented a tent, it was beyond expectations, he got me a big mat, pillows, blanket, towels, soap. He also gave me a few advice and suggestions about Nassau, like what to see and what to avoid. I enjoyed being there and would come and stay there again. Thank you!

Ocean View Cabin Tent at Finca Artonomista in Cuba

JemmaRating, 5 stars101 months ago
We really enjoyed our stay with Josue! The tent was much nicer than we expected, with a mattress and clean bedding and there was plenty of room for our bags as well. We arrived quite late, but were greeted by the family that lives on Josue's property. They offered us a delicious meal that we enjoyed outside the tent. In the morning we were also offered breakfast! The location of Josue's property is quite isolated, so make sure you check the map before you go. We managed to find it pretty easily though! Josue himself is the sweetest, most helpful person! He showed us around his property and spoke impeccable English. He drove us into the town and showed us where to go. Overall, we really enjoyed our stay! Thanks Josue :)

Outdoor Paradise - Fast Wifi & Work Space

SarahRating, 5 stars2 months ago
Tony is great to talk to. Very responsive, helpful and friendly. I felt safe. This is a tent with a comfortable air mattress and pillow in a fenced in backyard. I loved the fresh air. There is a shower with a toilet accessible only from outside. That made me feel safe. The water is not hot, but it’s ok since it is hot in the Bahamas, just took me awhile to get used to cold showers. In the evening, I enjoyed hanging out on the covered porch while my phone charged and I could read a book under the porch lights. The Wi-Fi had a good connection. The location is close to Montagu beach. Great place to get your conch salad tropical and fresh coconut water. The gas stations are great for food and drinks. Cheaper than the grocery store. Rubis is a great option. Definitely recommend The Poop Deck and Wild Thyme for delicious Bahamian food. But if you’re on a budget, realize the 10% VAT and 15% gratuity is add on top of the price you see. (I was surprised $34 red snapper costs $51.)

Unique Outdoor - Fast Wifi & Work Space

CarolineRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
Anthony is remarkably kind and very appreciable in a country where everything is quite expensive. Great exchanges with him. Super robust bicycles made available throughout the stay to explore the island far and wide. A terrace and shower in a very pleasant and secure space. In short, despite the hot climate, the stay was very successful. Thank you Anthony, we can tell that you enjoy sharing your country and your values! I am very grateful to you for the example you set for my Son present, 15 years old!!!

Ecological Jungle Camp with Natural pool

KaitlynRating, 5 stars14 months ago
This was a fantastic stay and we’ll definitely be back ! Getting in, it’s easy to locate the pin, and the host will meet you there and show you around. The kitchen space is open, with a surrounding cafe lounge area with hammocks to relax. The bathroom and shower were nice to use. There was a variety of pots pans and spices to cook with. When we arrived , the host showed us the cenote and greeted us with a gift of fresh fruit and chocolate. It was a very friendly environment to rejuvenate and you feel very safe and at home with such friendly hosts. Lots of cool jungle sounds, beautiful trees, very peaceful and relaxing to stay here. I would highly recommend

Teepee Tent Camping in hills near Ocho Rios

KaneishaRating, 5 stars30 months ago
Ok. Wow. This is the perfect place to relax! Within walking distance is a private river so I was able to bathe and enjoy it fully without having to “pay extra” or anything that usually happens with most rivers I’ve been to. There were also fruit trees around the property, which was delicious to have throughout the day. It’s very luscious as well, and each corner is visually beautiful. They grow fresh herbs and have plants, so yummy fresh food was also provided. I also love the fire water that’s nearby, didn’t even think that could exist. :O Will definitely be coming again!

Novillo's Camping - Camp with the sound of the river.

It is a wonderful place to be in contact with nature. A visit of 9 people (which I would actually consider a challenge), and she always had the disposition and kindness, and even the patience to be messing with everyone... an experience that we will definitely return to enjoy... ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
