Cottage holiday rentals in Antequera

At Casa Lopez, we stayed for 1.5 months as 5 adults, a child, and a dog. Occasionally, we were up to 10 people, but space was never an issue. The villa is beautiful with stunning views of the mountains and surroundings. The mountain road to the villa adds charm, and the place feels comfortable and safe—even accessible with a Fiat 500. The villa is more spacious than the photos suggest. Rafael, the host, showed us all the amenities: pool, Jacuzzi, and game room—all in perfect order. We also worked from the villa using the internet without any issues. The area is picturesque, close to beaches, mountains, and towns, with plenty to do. The hosts are very kind and helpful, even recommending a mechanic when needed. After 1.5 months, we still felt their warmth and friendliness. Leaving Casa Lopez was emotional for us. So, I recommend the villa for vacations, as well as a place where after work you can open some wine and jump into the pool. I wish everyone an equally wonderful stay.

We had a really great time in Madre Tierra. Rafa welcomed us and was really helpful for any request we had. The house is comfy, calm and with a great view, close to nice mountain paths. Totally recommended. Thanks again Rafa!

Wir hatten ein traumhaftes Wochenende im Monte Naturivo! Die Unterkunft liegt inmitten wunderschöner Natur und ist der perfekte Ort, um zur Ruhe zu kommen. Alles war absolut sauber und sehr gepflegt – man merkt, wie viel Liebe hier in jedes Detail gesteckt wird. Besonders begeistert waren wir vom tollen Pool, dem entspannenden Hamam und dem wunderschönen Yoga-Raum – ideal zum Abschalten und Wohlfühlen. Die Gastgeberin war unglaublich freundlich und herzlich, wir haben uns vom ersten Moment an willkommen gefühlt. Monte Naturivo ist wirklich ein besonderer Ort, den wir jedem wärmstens empfehlen können.

We loved our stay at the cottage, it was very clean and well equipped with everything we needed. But the best part was the beautiful surroundings and the amazing pool - perfect after a hot day in Ronda! We would definitely recommend.

Just retuned from a 1 week stay at the Cassita! Lovely and peaceful with beautiful surroundings and plenty to do if you’re happy to drive. Our two children loved the pool too. Kila was very responsive and friendly and we had everything we needed for a pleasant stay. Thanks again.

We stayed here for 4 weeks (family of 3) and it was the most wonderful holiday! So peaceful and quiet, well equipped house and a lovely pool. The beds are really comfortable and the aircon in the bedrooms was brilliant. Cómpeta is a beautiful town and worth a visit. Cannot recommend this place highly enough!

Dit huisje met zwembad (én jacuzzi!) bovenop de berg in Coín is echt een paradijs. Ideaal voor een ontspannende gezinsvakantie. De weg ernaartoe is wel pittig, maar eens je dat gewoon bent, is dit de perfecte uitvalsbasis voor uitstapjes naar Malaga, Ronda, Marbella, Granada, …

Superbe petite maison non loin d'Antequera. Nous avons beaucoup apprécié les équipements, la décoration et les petites attentions de l'hôte à notre arrivée. Très léger bémol : les chiens dans le voisinage parfois un peu bruyant, mais nous avons quand même pu nous détendre dans le superbe jacuzzi

I cannot rate this place high enough. It’s a slice of heaven and a place of dreams. If you want to get away from the world but be close enough to be in Malaga within 15 minutes, I don’t think you can do better. The work and effort that Juan and Ana have put into this place is outstanding. It’s secluded, it’s peaceful, it’s surrounded by beautiful vistas. It’s only 15 minutes from the outskirts of Malaga, but you feel in your own, private world. From here I visited Malaga, Ronda, Cordoba and Granada. I also spent days doing nothing at all, just laying by the pool or swimming, relaxing in peace and reading. It’s such a wonderful place. May I please say a particular thanks to Juan, who is the most charming and friendly host you can hope to meet. The pride and passion he has for the home and the area is incredible. He was an absolute pleasure. Kind hearted and patient while I practiced my terrible Spanish on him. I look forward to returning and miss being there already.

Der Aufenthalt in der Unterkunft "Las Lavaderas" von Angel war hervorragend. Durch die ruhige und private Atmosphäre haben wir uns bestens erholt. Ein perfekter Ort zum Entspannen. Das Haus ist mit allem was man braucht ausgestattet. Die Kommunikation mit Angel funktionierte perfekt, freundlich und stets zeitnah.

Comfortable house in a beautiful spot very private and spotlessly clean. Good base for exploring and walking. Was the wrong time of year for us to use the pool but the grounds and outside space were really nice too. Only thing would be to have information in the house about how everything worked, what there was to do in the area where to put the rubbish, house rules etc. Overall a great stay.

O caminho para chegar à casa tem ruas muito estreitas, mas vale a pena ir até à casa. A casa está praticamente no centro da vila, com acessos pedonais curtos para as zonas mais famosas da vila. A casa em si estava limpa, apesar de alguma loiça estar com pó (é normal). Também estava bem equipada e o quarto é simplesmente maravilhoso, com parte da falésia a fazer de parede e com vista para o ribeiro que atravessa a vila. Recomendo vivamente.

The house was great - very spacious for four of us. The location is about 10 min from the end of the Caminito del Rey - we parked in El Chorro and appreciated not getting back on a shuttle bus to get to our car. The views are amazing and 360 around the house. It was hot weather while er were there but the AC works great, and plenty of shade by the pool. Groceries are not close by so stock up before you arrive! Juan was a great host!

Wir sind von Martine und Ron herzlich empfangen worden und haben uns von Anfang an sehr wohl gefühlt. Die Unterkunft ist ein kleines Paradies mit einer tollen Aussicht und einem schönen Pool. Es war alles sehr sauber mit einer guten und gepflegten Ausstattung. Im naheliegenden Coin gibt es gute Einkaufsmöglichkeiten und einige gute Restaurants. Von Martine und Ron haben wir tolle Tipps erhalten und sie waren jederzeit erreichbar. Von uns kann es nur 5 Sterne geben! Vielen Dank für die wunderschöne Woche von Meike und Peter aus Wedel.

Ha sido un viaje familiar. Hemos hecho el Caminito del Rey y la ubicación de la casa es inmejorable. Tras la caminata del caminito, es un lujo salir de la ruta y a escasos 500mts encontrarte con la casa sin tener que realizar otro trayecto. Eso ha sido gloria. La casa es increíble, no le falta de nada y super limpia. Francisco, super atento a todo. Por un descuido nuestro, solicitamos una cuna pocas horas antes de llegar y no puso ningún problema en llevarnos una cuna. Muy muy contentos del trato y de la casa. Sin duda alguna, lo recomiendo.

Ein Kleinod mitten in den Hügeln umgeben von Natur. Die Lage des Hauses ist einfach wunderbar. Man hat einen 360 Grad Rundumblick. Der Pool ist vorne flach und hinten 2 Meter tief so dass man problemlos reinspringen kann. Das Areal bietet viele Sitz - Liegeplätze zum verweilen. Das Haus ist entzückend im spanischen Stiel gebaut und sehr sauber. Es fehlt an nichts, ob elektrischen Orangenentsafter, Kaffemashcine usw. Ist alles nötige vorhanden. ÜberGewürze, Alufolie, Shapoo, Duschgel, Mülltüten, Toilettenpapier, Handtücher alles war in ausreichender Anzahl vorhanden wir mussten nichts kaufen. Wir haben uns rundum wohl gefühlt. Die Stadt Colin ist 5 km entfernt. Dort findet man eine Vielzahl von Restaurants und Supermärkten was wir auch zu schätzen wussten. Jesus ist ein sehr netter, zuvorkommender Vermieter der sofort bei jeglichen Problemen oder Fragen verfügbar ist und Abhilfe leistet. Danke Jesus für so ein schöne Zeit in deinem Haus.

Rustig gelegen in de heuvels rond Alcoucin gaat de cottage van William en Simone schuil onder de geur van de bougainvillea en de schaduw van de omringende olijfbomen. Een ware oase op een uurtje rijden van de prachtige stad Malaga en het charmante Torre del Mar. De cottage biedt echt alles wat je nodig hebt. Snelle WiFi-verbinding, een mooie slaapkamer met prima bed, een ruime badkamer, een goed uitgerust keukentje en niet te vergeten, het fraai gelegen zwembad. Wij hebben er vier fijne dagen doorgebracht en komen zeker terug. Hans en Frankie

My wife and I very much enjoyed our stay at Maria's place. The house is very cozy with all you need to prepare meals at home if you wish. The views over the Ronda countryside were stunning, and the garden surrounding the house was also delightful. Ronda city is just a 15-minute drive away.

We hebben enorm genoten van ons verblijf in het appartement (studio) aan het zwembad. Smaakvol ingericht, waarin alles aanwezig is om te kunnen genieten van een zorgeloze vakantie. Wat een heerlijk verblijf! De communicatie vooraf en tijdens ons verblijf verliep erg soepel, snel en prettig. We werden bij aankomst op de afgesproken plek opgewacht door Gert & Bruno, vanwaar zij ons begeleidden naar de hoger gelegen locatie waar we van Gert een rondleiding over het terrein kregen. Wat een service! En bij bovenkomst, wat een prachtig uitzicht. Bij aankomst lag een fles bubbels koud, kregen eitjes van hun eigen kippen en kwarteltjes alsmede citroenen die goed van pas kwamen voor in de salade en in de Vermouth. Gert heeft ons mooie tips gegeven wat te kunnen ondernemen in de omgeving o.a. voor onze trip naar Malaga. En wat hebben we genoten van de vier lieve hondjes met ieder een eigen karakter. We hebben ons heel erg thuis gevoeld. Dank voor de flexibiliteit en fijne tijd in jullie pardijs!

This was one of the best holidays we have had. The mountains are incredibly beautiful, the town is not too far away, Malaga is great for beaches, town, restaurants, shopping and history! Juan is very friendly and happy to help and manager Jenni is always on hand to answer questions and visit to make sure that everything is going smoothly. The pool is compact but still wonderful for a dip at any time. It is clean and very well maintained. The terrace is beautiful to sit at all times. This is a wonderful place. Thank you for our stay!

Wir haben den Aufenthalt sehr genossen. Das Haus ist supergemütlich und die Terrasse ist traumhaft. Wir hatten eine Hitzewelle, aber die Terrasse bietet genug Schatten, dass man sich sehr gut dort aufhalten kann. Das Haus ist ohnehin klimatisiert. Das Dorf ist wunderschön. Es gibt ein paar Bars und Restaurants,in denen man sehr gut essen kann. Die Menschen begegnen einem sehr freundlich. Man merkt, dass der Massentourismus noch keinen Einzug gehalten hat. So gewinnt man einen Eindruck von dem Leben der Einheimischen. Ein Strand ist auch in 20 Minuten mit dem Auto zu erreichen. Hat man Fragen ist Maria stets zu erreichen. Wie wir uns mit ihr dort gefühlt haben, ist in Worten schwer zu beschreiben. Sie ist ein wunderbarer und liebenswerter Mensch. Danke für die schöne Zeit.

We absolutely loved our stay in Atalaya. The house, the grounds, the view, the location - seclusion and good walks nearby: all divine. Did not want to leave!

We had a fantastic vacation at Antonia’s house in Viñuela. The view and location exceeded our expectations — even better than in the photos. The house is spacious and comfortably accommodates six people. The outdoor area is generous, with a lovely veranda, outdoor kitchen and a marvelous view over valley and hills reaching into the ocean. The property is easy to access, fully fenced, and gated for added security. The ocean and hiking areas are within short range. All amenities are exactly as described. Communication with Antonio was excellent — he is a friendly and attentive host. We would highly recommend this house; it offers great value for the price.

We had a great stay at Nicole and Ruud's Casita. Such a peaceful place with beautiful surroundings. Everything was squeaky clean and the hosts made sure that we had everything we need. I totally recommend!
