We absolutely loved our stay at this gorgeous villa. From the moment we met Stefanos and his parents at their nearby taverna to say hello and get the keys, we knew it would be a great vacation. We were welcomed with cold drinks and plates of delicious food. Stefanos personally took us to the villa, showed us around and answered all our questions. There was a beautiful food basket (vegetables, fruit, olive oil, and other Crete delights) waiting for us as a further welcome. The villa itself is even more gorgeous than in the photos. It is beautifully appointed and each of the 4 bedrooms has its own bath so it was perfect for the couples staying there. The view is stunning - looking out over olive groves and farm land with the sea in the distance. We found fantastic beaches nearby, groceries and great tavernas in local villages. We also enjoyed some swims in the pool at the villa. All in all, a wonderful stay and a huge thanks to Stefanos and his family for so warmly welcoming us!

Wir hatten tolle zwei Wochen in der Villa von Vangelis und haben jede Minute genossen. Besonders toll war die Aussicht auf die Lefka Ori, der tolle Pool mit Gegenstromanlage und die vielen verschiedenen Sitzmöglichkeiten. Das Haus ist sehr liebevoll und hochwertig ausgestattet und alle notwendigen Kochutensilien sind vorhanden. Wir werden bestimmt wiederkommen.

One of the best villas I’ve stayed in as it felt so homely, and the outside area is gorgeous. We all loved it! Nikolaos was an amazing host and was always recommending places to visit and days out for us to try. The pool cleaner was easy to use, just put it in first thing in the morning and it will clean for around 2 hours. As well, having the robotic lawn mower mow the lawn while we were there too was a nice feature. Nikolaos was always responsive and made us feel right at home, as well as even leaving local olive oil for us to take back with us from our trip! The local taverna just at the bottom of the villa was sensational, and I would really recommend trying as much of the food off of the daily cooked menu as possible. Would stay here again!

Really enjoyed our stay at Phy-Sea villa! Marianna was a great host who greeted us with a tray of fruit and cheese upon checking in and provided us with several wonderful dining and activity recommendations. The place itself is peaceful and close to Chania while feeling like you are getting away. Though there are many beaches close by, we also liked having our own pool. Looking forward to coming back!

We had an amazing time. The house was perfect and the host went above and beyond to make it a brilliant holiday. The massages we had at the house on the last morning were the perfect end to a great holiday. The place is up a hill but this was no issue for us. It is close enough for a walk into the old town and 5 mins walk to the best beaches.

This house was absolutely amazing – just like in the pictures, if not even better! The location right by the beach is truly breathtaking, and we couldn’t have asked for a more beautiful setting. All the furniture and appliances are top-of-the-line – everything was spotless, high-quality, and incredibly comfortable. Ria was a fantastic host – super friendly, always quick to respond, and very helpful. We really appreciated how kind and welcoming she was. We truly enjoyed every moment of our stay and would recommend this house to absolutely everyone. A perfect getaway!

Wir hatten eine wundervolle Zeit in diesem Haus! Es ist genauso wie auf den Bildern – sehr sauber, liebevoll eingerichtet und in einer tollen Lage. Die Kingsize Betten sind sehr bequem. Der Kontakt mit den Gastgebern war von Anfang an freundlich, respektvoll und absolut reibungslos. Schon zur Begrüßung stand ein kleines, herzliches Willkommensgeschenk in der Küche bereit: Honig, Olivenöl, Kekse und Raki – eine sehr schöne Geste! Der Blick auf das Meer ist wunderschön. Anzumerken ist, dass das Haus sehr hellhörig ist. Es liegt an einer kleinen Anwohnerstraße, aber dennoch fahren dort Autos lang und man hört es vor allem morgens extrem im Bett. Im Verlauf unseres Aufenthalts wurden wir sogar mit frischen Eiern und Orangen aus eigener Produktion überrascht. Zum Abschied gab es dann nochmals Honig und eine Flasche Raki – einfach großartig! Die Gastgeber waren jederzeit erreichbar, hilfsbereit und ausgesprochen gastfreundlich. Vielen Dank für alles!

We absolutely loved our stay, it far exceeded our expectations. The apartment was as described, really clean and comfortable. The rooms were a good size with 2 decent sized en-suite bathrooms and the kitchen well appointed. We enjoyed BBQing on the terrace and eating outside. The private pool was much bigger than we expected and the kids loved jumping into it at the end of the day whilst we had cocktails, available from reception! The apartment is in an agricultural area surrounded by olives trees and poly tunnels growing tomatoes. This meant it was lovely and peaceful. The sunsets were amazing and view uninterrupted. Phalasarna beach was a short drive and out of season it was relaxing and a really great place to be. The shallow water meant it was really safe for the kids to enjoy jumping in the waves on windy days and swimming and exploring little caves on the calm days. Alexandros was a fantastic host, helpful and quick to respond any questions we had. We hope to come back one day!

Konstantinos’s place is perfect. The location is beautiful and only a short drive to some of best beaches we have ever been to. The pool is so lovely and surrounded by breathtaking mountain scenery. I have never had a shower with such a good view! I wouldn’t change a thing and would recommend to anyone.

This place is fantastic. Two outdoor seating areas both with breathtaking views facing west so you can watch the sunset. We were there in December during Christmas and they had a nice wood burning stove to help warm the house in addition to an electric heater. There is nothing like the ambiance of a wood burning stove . They provided all of the firewood. They also had a fully stocked kitchen . It was an easy walk to town with all the restaurants. Almost all of which were closed when we went. The beaches are a walkable distance. One of the highlights was the Aradena gorge, a 30 minute drive. The trailhead is in a beautiful ancient town. The hike is technically challenging due to loose rocks. Honestly, one of my favorite things was the area. Off season, it is incredibly quiet and peaceful. I loved seeing all the goats and sheep on the hillsides. One thing to note is the bedroom is on the third floor and the bathroom is on the first floor. This was not an issue for us.

What a lovely quiet and relaxed stay we had in kampos. The house has everything we needed and the view was amazing with fantastic sunsets. Thank you Sofia for your warm welcome and good local recommendations. We would love to come back again 😀

Ein absoluter Traum! Diese Unterkunft war einfach perfekt – von der Ausstattung über die liebevolle Einrichtung bis hin zur herzlichen Gastfreundschaft von Ksenia und Giannis. Alles ist hochwertig, geschmackvoll und mit so viel Liebe zum Detail gestaltet, dass man sich vom ersten Moment an wohl und willkommen fühlt. Ein echtes Highlight war die Terrasse mit einem atemberaubenden Blick aufs Meer – morgens mit dem Rauschen der Wellen aufwachen, abends mit diesem Panorama den Tag ausklingen lassen… unbezahlbar! Besonders schön war auch die Nähe zur gemütlichen Taverne, die von der Gastgeberfamilie betrieben wird. Dort herrscht dieselbe warme, offene Atmosphäre wie in der Unterkunft. Wir haben dort wunderbare Abende mit köstlicher traditioneller, regionaler griechischer Küche, live - Musik und ganz viel Herzlichkeit verbracht. Ein Ort, an den wir mit einem Lächeln zurückdenken – und an den wir definitiv wiederkommen möchten. Tausend Dank für alles!

We had the most fantastic family holiday here and can’t thank Giannis enough for being the perfect host! Her place is exactly as described and we will definitely be back! Thank you again for having us!

Ich fange mal mit einem Wort an. WOW. Die Gastgeber waren so gastfreundlich, wie ich es noch nie erlebt habe. Wir wurden persönlich empfangen, haben direkt paar Snacks bekommen und bestimmt ca. 1 Stunde hat man uns Tipps für die Gegend gegeben. Die Gastgeber sind sichtlich stolz auf ihre Insel und das mit Recht! Zum Abschied haben wir auch noch frisches Gebäck (mit Spinat drin, war sogar noch warm) und einige Souvenirs erhalten. Das ist das beste Erlebnis seitens von Gastgebern gewesen, was wir bisher erlebt haben. Es war nur ähnlich gut in Korfu (wieder Griechen :D). Zur Wohnung: Traumhafte Aussicht, sauber, super eingerichtet. Katzenfamilie vor Ort (4 ganz junge Katzen und 2 größere), die man füttern darf mit Futter, was bereit gestellt wird. Mit Kindern wäre das sowas von perfekt. Wir hatten sehr viel Spaß mit den Katzen. Und auch die Betreuung während des Aufenthalts war super. Theodosia war Immer erreichbar. :D Wirklich, mit der Wohnung macht man nichts falsch. :)

Eine Unterkunft mit einem wirklich atemberaubenden Ausblick. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt. Unser zweijähriger Sohn hat sich auch sehr gut zurecht gefunden und mit uns am Pool gespielt, man sollte aber natürlich immer einen Blick drauf haben . Insgesamt wirkt die Unterkunft deutlich großzügiger als auf den Fotos und ist bestens ausgestattet. Es hat uns an nichts gefehlt. Es gibt sogar Hanteln für Sport und Stühle und Schirm für den Strand und ein Töpfchen für Kinder. Die Kommunikation mit Eleni lief sehr gut. Sie hat immer schnell reagiert und alles möglich gemacht. Wir kommen gerne wieder.

Electra was just amazing. We met her close to the apartment and she brought us there to do the check-in in with us. She is super friendly and shared some recommendations with us. The place is as described, it has everything needed for a few days. The garden and the spot under the olive tree are beautiful to have breakfast or read. Note: you will need a car to get there, but it is just a short drive to some restaurants and supermarkets. It was a really great stay and a good location to explore the west of Crete and its beaches.

Wir hatten eine schöne Zeit, die Unterkunft ist wunderbar und wie beschrieben. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt. Es hat einen privaten Garten und eine Terrasse mit Aussicht zur Alleinnutzung. Beides war sehr toll. Insgesamt eine tolle Unterkunft, es fehlte uns nichts. Kommunikation mit Michalis hat auch super geklappt. Die Tipps haben wir ausprobiert, in der Taverne in der Nähe der Unterkunft waren wir gleich mehrmals. Wir würden jederzeit wieder kommen.

Great house really beautifully and stylishly renovated. It was a joy to stay for a few days. House is right by the sea in a cool neighbourhood with bars and restaurants and a short 10 min walk to the main port of Chania. Communication with Katerina was great and she was extremely helpful. Would highly recommend.

The studio was beautiful and clean, and the outdoor premises are very useful, in particular, if it is too windy on the beach. The location is awesome if you are in favour of privacy, calmness and nice views. During our stay, apart from the noise caused by a strong wind, there was total silence in the nights. That was astonishing, considered that despite the privacy, everything could be reached in 5 to 10 minutes. The place is not suitable for people with reduced mobility since you have to climb up steep steps to the place. Triantafyllia was a great hostess.

Many wonderful things to say about Casa Polymnia. Quaintly situated in the small town of Topolia, this mountain getaway was perfect for our first time spent in Crete. The accommodations were beautiful and very comfortable. Amazing skyline views, a well stocked kitchen, stone bedroom, and courtyard! Easy parking in town. You’ll find amazing walkable restaurants ran by kind hosts whom will offer you raki with every meal :) We loved the food. The neighbors and locals showed us exceptionally warm hospitality. Casa Polymnia was peaceful respite for reading, writing, and relaxation. Don’t forget to check out the Agia Sofia cave located just south, and the Workshop Tsouris located just north. As well as any nearby beaches. Konstantina was highly responsive, super informative, and very helpful with local recommendations. Thank you 🙏

The Villa at Almyrida was in a lovely peaceful location up the hill from Almyrida. We hired a car as it was a good distance from the beach but the peace and quiet and the view made up for that. We explored more inland the villages of Vamos and Gavalochori but had the beach and restaurants handy. Had a lovely stay and Michael was very accessible if we needed.

Amazing home, literally about 20 steps away from the beach. The home was spotless and beautifully decorated. It looks brand new! The host had fresh fruits, delicious cakes, pastries, still and sparkling water in the fridge, bags of ice in the freezer and a bottle of champagne on ice waiting for us at check in, which was an amazing experience! Best Airbnb host ever! The villa had a private rooftop deck that was the ultimate place to relax and unwind, while offering an amazing view of the Sea of Crete. The rooftop also has a very big jacuzzi, dinning table, seating and loungers. I forgot to mention that the neighborhood has restaurants and shopping in both directions. You will definitely be happy with this place.

Andrea's villa and location was as wonderful as we'd hoped. We loved swimming in our private pool before breakfast and the view of the ocean from the terrace was outstanding, especially for sunsets, which were spectacular. The location was great, being situated away from crowds but with easy access to many beautiful beaches and tavernas. Andrea's handy hints were really useful, from where to refill water bottles from a spring, or which taverna on Sfinari beach to visit. He responded very quickly if we had any questions, so overall cannot recommend this villa highly enough. Thanks Andrea!
