El Nido is a second-story apartment on a lake-front property, with panoramic views and a wrap-around patio. This two-bed, one-bath contemporary apartment is named El Nido (Spanish for "the nest"), because of the abundant wildlife in the area, including resident bald eagles nested across the street in a designated wetlands. The space is fully furnished and is new construction as of the summer of 2024. The owners have a workshop and office space on the first floor, with occasional day use.

Welcome to the Mesa Verde Tiny House! it’s a cozy, thoughtfully crafted space with a queen loft bed, bathroom with shower, kitchen, and an open living area with a fold-out futon. Enjoy incredible views of Sleeping Ute Mountain and Mesa Verde. The main sleeping area is the queen bed in the loft. A 3rd guest is possible using the futon, but it’s best for short stays, as it is less comfortable. Loft access requires climbing a tall ladder. This is a true tiny house, simple & full of character. .

The dedicated wifi is fast, and the A/C, hot water and heating are all electric. Our property is just outside the city limits (by 100 ft) in a 2.5 acre oasis of shade trees and shrubs. Nothing is far away in this tiny, remote town in the high desert of S.E. Utah, including groceries, gas and movie theater. Private, quiet and restful!
