Simple Alaskan Beauty Cabin

Our tiny cabin is unique. The kitchen counters are refurbished old barn doors, the long wall is pallet wood and the wood floors have been torched and sealed for a unique, rustic look. The cabin is 12x20 and is perfect for two guests and a small child can sleep on the loveseat. Just ask and we can provide extra linens. It is a dry cabin, ( no ability to shower). We do provide a counter top water system (5 gallon jugs) to freshen up / clean dishes with and bottled water in the refrigerator.

Located near Willow Lake, close to public access, and the official start of the Iditarod dog sled race. Marked trails for snow machines, cross country skiing, and dog sled teams. Welcome to the Fireweed Guesthouse. Comfortable 2 1/2 bed, 1 1/2 bath, full kitchen, and a large front deck with the most amazing mountain views. Located at the end of the road, there is minimal traffic, a nice, peaceful area. Fireweed Guesthouse is perfect for adults 21 years and older but IS NOT SUITABLE FOR CHILDREN AND INFANTS.
