Wow wow wow... We absolutely loved our stay at the Brickhouse @ Monsoon Eco Resort. The building is beautiful. Seneth, Vishy and the entire team are the most welcoming, friendly and kind souls. We came as guests and feel we have left with friends for life. If you want a relaxed stay away from the hustle of Arugam Bay, this is the place. The grounds are absolute Zen. The food is delicious. The accomodation stunning. It was hard for us to move on after our 5 days stay at the Monsoon Eco Resort. It's a quick walk to the local beach which has some decent surf. A board and rental shop down the road and it's only a 20 minute Tuk Tuk ride to Arugam Bay. If you're lucky, you'll spot some wild elephants on your way in. Book now before someone else beats you to it.. You'll have an incredible time!

I can only agree with the very positive reviews. This was also a very special place for me! The guest house is very quiet and at the same time within walking distance of the village. After the days before were a bit exhausting and chaotic, I was able to come here directly to relax and recharge the batteries. Far away from all the tourist crowds… Krishan and his team were also very helpful and friendly. When we were there, we decided on short notice to go on a safari that Krishan organized for us. For us, this was possible solely from the point of view that it is carried out with respect for nature and wildlife. This was definitely fulfilled in the Maduru Oya National Park. We enjoyed the curry twice, which was absolutely delicious. Regardless of the safari, one of my favorite places in Sri Lanka. Thanks Krishan!

I shared the apartment with a friend. Only one bedroom has AC but the bed was big enough to share. There are two bathrooms. The kitchen worked perfectly. Also the washing machine worked fine. You have to bring your own towels and kitchen cloth. In the backyard there is a big mango tree and king coconut tree we could pick fruits from. Tarshan always replied very fast to my questions and was very helpful. Also Tarshan‘s brother Kamal, who lives close to the house, came nearly everyday to check in with us if we need anything. He‘d also would have organised us bikes or cycles for rent but then we chose to go by three wheeler. He found a driver who drove us for a fair price daily. The apartment is close to the railway station. So the mentioned address is wrong. There are lots of little grocery shops and food shops in walking distance. All in all we were very happy to spend 4 weeks in this apartment! We felt like home quickly. Thank you, Tarshan and Kamal, for being so helpful & friendly

what can we say more then we were sad to leave this place. From the moment we arrived, in the rain, it felt like we visit friends. Our 1 year old daughter gets everything she needed and more. And also for us everything was provided, such as delicious food. It was very kind that our driver could stay over. the scenery is beautiful, you can sit outside watching the lake or take a walk. Or go and watch elphants along the road or look for the panoramic view. But the best part was the kindness of krishan and his wife and the beautiful conversations. We take it all back with us. Blessings for your family and warm greetings from family Reynolds ;)
