This is a beautiful and quiet place. The house was spacious and comfortable and I could feel the host's touches everywhere. Above all, during a large power outage, Lydia said that she was worried about our safety and came to us. Even though we couldn't meet because we were out and about, that alone was a great comfort for us who were embarrassed. Thanks to you, I had a good stay.

We spent a very nice holiday week at Casa da Serra! The tasteful and thoughtful architect's house and the great garden with adjoining goat enclosure was only surpassed by the hospitality of Luíz and Isabelle. After sunset, fireflies "lit up" our terrace. For our children, the heated pool in particular was a big plus. Since we were the only guests most of the time, we almost always had it to ourselves. The national park, which also offers hiking opportunities, begins directly behind the house. I have rarely seen so many butterflies in one place. Of the nearby destinations, we visited Coimbra, Nazaré (north beach), one of the nearby caves, and Obidos. All in all, we had a very varied and at the same time very relaxing vacation with great hosts! Muito obrigado!

The villa is well equipped and is a great location as a starting point for day trips, multiple coast locations within 20 - 30 minutes. The villa has all you can need for a family holiday, the pool is big enough for a family holiday it has a small shelf step which my granddaughter (3yrs old) used to help with her swimming which was great. The host is very responsive if you need any help and provided simple but clear answers. Would recommend for a family holiday as long as you had a car, there is limited access to restaurants local to the property but not a negative for our family but worth knowing.

We had an amazing two week stay at the house. It was absolutly beautifull. We felt at home the second we arrived. Everything was perfect.

Super nice and warm hosts. A holiday home furnished with attention to detail and a fantastic garden area. We can only highly recommend the house, the idyllic quiet location and the hosts!

The house is beautiful and wonderfully furnished. The views from all the bedrooms and the living room are magnificent. I would love to live there especially with the very private patio and rock garden to wile away the hours in.

Hey, and this Airbnb is shockingly. The coziest place and the most high quality Airbnb I saw so far in portugal. A plenty of card games, every single essential for cooking you ever need to use, plenty of towels, even scissors, checkin is smooth, the host send a whole guide for area for restaurants to visit! The best experience! I extended on as much as I could on the other places this person hosts and if I ever travel to the countries where the host has airbnbs now I’m going to Switzerland feeling excited, wishing she had Airbnb there also

We had a really good time at this place. The only bad thing was the location, it has nothing close. The house is very comfortable and the hosts are highly recommended.

We had a fabulous stay at Villa Altus with seven adults and four kids. The house was clean and comfortable and had plenty do space for everyone. The kids loved the playroom and the games room, and we all enjoyed the fantastic heated pool. The setting is spectacular amongst the vineyard covered hills, and we ate all of our meals outdoors. It was an easy drive to the coast, where we found beautiful beaches and great restaurants. Lina was wonderfully helpful, and let us check in early and out late, which was great for the babies’ nap schedules. The rooms also have blackout shutters, which helped them adjust to the time change. She provided cribs and high chairs for them. We were also really happy that the pool area is fenced and gated, which made it easier for parents to relax during meals on the patio! Finally for the adults, the showers are amazing. Great pressure and really hot water. I’d recommend Lina and Villa Altus to anyone. It really was perfect.

This was our best experience renting for our honeymoon. We will definitely be back because of the interactions had with Rickard and Lana. From the beginning they called and talked to us about best places to surf, resturants, etc. They let us know exactly what to expect. We had to reschedule due to a family emergency and they accommodated us no question and helped make it an easy process. Once we got to the airport they helped instruct us how to get to the place. Upon arrival the place was exactly what was pictured and pristine. It was perfect for us with the best view in Baleal. We got to watch the sunset over the ocean from our balcony! Rickard and Lana were available to answer any questions promptly! They are considered super DUPER hosts in my eyes. 100 out of 10! We will be back!

Elsa is a wonderful Host, just like her incredible villa. From the reservation, through the arrival to our departure, we were accompanied with kindness and benevolence throughout this experience. The house is ideal for hosting a large family, or groups. We had an extraordinary stay, in complete privacy, in this vast and comfortable place. Bruno was a great host. His place was beautifully located with spectacular view. Close to everything, but far enough to enjoy the tranquility of the area. Genuinely enjoyed our stay, loved Foz do Arelho. We would definitely recommend to friends and family. Gorgeous beach, perfect for all to enjoy.

Andre and Dafne are very kind and gentle, gave us all the information and more. When you want to stay for a short or a long period of time, the place has it all. Absolutely adore Francisco! He is so hospitable, helpful, polite and genuine. The unit is really nice, great location. Only downside is that there is a very busy road right next to the unit so you can hear all the cars go by . However the road is quiet during normal overnight sleeping hours so it didn’t keep us awake. I would recommend it to anyone.
