Chalet holiday rentals in Ameland

Very complete house in a beautiful area. Everything was available. The home has a large garden. Located close to Midsland with all the amenities and close to the beach.

Our stay at Haus Sonnenschein was what the name promises. If you are looking for a place to relax, this is the place to be, as the house is next to a nature reserve. Despite very spontaneous booking, everything worked wonderfully. We received all the important information before arrival so we found everything right away and none of our questions remained unanswered. The view of the sunrise is one of the highlights, next to the infrared cabin and the Schaafswiese next door. We only made nice acquaintances, especially the lady from the reception completed the stay wonderfully. My dog was always welcome and also made nice dog teams. All in all, we would highly recommend this place. A big thank you to Felix! We will be happy to come back. :)

the chalet island splendor met all our expectations. beds were made. only point.. on the North Cape, the numbers of the chalets are not all read/visible from the main path. and on the North Cape itself I miss the glass bin to be able to separate the trash.

We are four young-at-heart grandmothers who have made a few beautiful days. The place was great, supermarket and swimming pool nearby. The beach was also easily accessible. The island is beautiful. You can easily explore everything by bike. The accommodation was just right for us for this quieter season. We had a lot of fun and felt very comfortable there.

We felt very comfortable in the chalet from the beginning and had a great vacation. The chalet is very appealing and well equipped, so we also cooked a lot. The location of the campsite is very good. Communication with Marinus was very straightforward. We also liked the fact that we could use the season ticket for the outdoor pool at the campsite and went swimming every morning. Ameland is a beautiful island. We can really recommend the chalet.

We enjoyed the space and the surrounding area. Due to a sudden health issue on the way out, we were more in the hospital than in the chalet. We couldn't reach the place until the night, but organizationally this was super solved. Key was stored for us in a box with code. Communication between the landlord and us went smoothly. The chalet is very comfortably furnished. We were 4 adults and one dog. Space was enough. The outdoor area invites you to stay. The weather was good with us and we would definitely book again. Beautiful chalet with spacious veranda, a large comfortable sitting area with table and a Boretti coal barbecue. Location chalet is great, you have sun from early in the morning until late in the evening, wonderful! The chalet has almost everything you need, unfortunately there was no oven to bake sandwiches, but a microwave. Everything works, good dishwasher and fast wifi. Bedrooms and beds are good, but not much closet space. All windows can be opened so you can ventilate the chalet. It was nice and quiet in the park, we were outside of the holidays and during the week. Animals are allowed, so you can see a lot of people with dogs. With the nice weather, the coal barbecues do come on so you are sometimes in the smoke because it is quite windy of course. The park is very beautiful as is the surroundings, lots of water and nature reserves, beautiful. Communication with the host was very good, correct, friendly and clear. Finally, the host and the location of the chalet make sure we'd love to come back!

We booked this specific place for its proximity to the ferry to Schiermonnikoog in order to take a day of hiking/sightseeing. Everything was at its best and our plans went according to our expectations. In addition, Korien has always been very responsive and clear in his instructions. However, we encountered some problems with the life of "camping" and its amenities and the communication between our host and the reception of the campsite. Despite everything, the placement, tranquility and atmosphere won us over and allowed us to have a pleasant stay. Thanks again to Korien!

We stayed there with two toddlers for a week. The bike shop in Ballum is close and you can easily get around the island by bike and trailer. The beach in Ballum is close - but you still have to walk a whole stretch to the sea, next time we'll take a wagon with us. The neighborhood is quiet and friendly. We had very relaxing days

We had a lovely week with our 3rd children during the autumn holidays. In bad weather, a beautiful indoor playground awaits the children. In nice weather there are several playgrounds and a petting zoo :). In great weather, the lake and beach are waiting for you. ;) Aletta was always available for us and gave us good tips.

Very cozy beach atmosphere in the caravan!! Plenty of places inside and outside for 6 adults. Sleeping is tight for 6 large adults, the bunk beds are small. The sofa can serve as a bed, with tall adults that can offer a solution. Fantastic bicycles to borrow and all the attributes available for a wonderfully relaxed stay. Initial supplies and cleaning products are also available.

We enjoyed the comfortable house, the lovely private terrace and the tranquility around it. The kitchen is so furnished and equipped with everything to cook well. Herbs and some basic foodstuffs are available. We slept on the double bed. It has a wonderful mattress. There are seat cushions for outdoors. And the bikes in the shed are absolutely top-notch. The house has been furnished with the aim of making it as pleasant and homely as possible for those who stay in it. There is even an extensive bookshelf. Great all!

We had a wonderful stay here. The chalet is located at the beginning of the property and in the middle of the island. For us the perfect stay to see as much of the island as possible. Communication with the host was great. Everything went very easily. Highly recommended!
