What a lovely old house , in a tiny peaceful village. We couldn't have had a nicer stop over on our trip from Portugal to Switzerland, and I enjoyed my birthday lazing and playing in the garden. The furnishings and kitchen are not modern, but the house is full of style and charm. Although early June, the house was cool at night and we used the amazing log burner. We were there on Whitsun Monday, and a lot of local shops and restaurants closed early, but we had a trip to the old hill top village of Usson, and bought the best ever chicken from a rotisserie in the nearby village. We didn't meet Sonia, but communication with her was very good and friendly.

We had a very good weekend at the Epicurien cottage for our mom's 60th birthday, everything was perfect and in line with the listing. Isabelle is very welcoming and accommodating, even successfully advising us on the pastry shop to order the birthday cake from before coming 🙂 The cottage is clean and perfectly equipped, and the outside is very quiet with a sublime view of the surrounding nature. If that's what you're looking for, you can go there with your eyes closed.

Return from La Maison des Fleurs (which is aptly named) in Champoly, which I discovered last year with satisfaction. Prolonged satisfaction. A place that is always relaxing and rejuvenating (for me and my cat who live in an urban apartment) with its rural environment. The accommodation is clean, functional and tastefully furnished. Bonus: The attentions of Marie who is friendly and responsive.

Juliette's accommodation was really nice. This small house offers all the necessary comforts for a successful stay: comfortable beds and complete equipment. The view is simply magnificent, and the location in a very quiet place adds to the charm of the place. I recommend this accommodation for those looking to relax in a peaceful and well-equipped setting.

Very relaxing rental with a beautiful view, not overlooked and no noise. We enjoyed the wood stove, the walls once heated keep the heat well, and we did not need to turn it on again the rest of our 3-day weekend. Many small details are very appreciable, several oils, shallots, onion. sheets towels. Large fridge, coffee pod. Comfortable couch. Car parked as close as possible without obstructing the view. Good reception of 4G, sufficient to watch a movie. Walk to the lake 4 km on foot very pleasant, but beware of ticks in June, fortunately quickly spotted, I was in shorts, better to keep the pants to walk in the tall grass in this season. Very good rental I recommend

Lovely big space, 2 beautifully appointed shower rooms, so many original features, nicely curated artwork, textiles and decor, well maintained, with views of sky, hills and woods from the 3 balconies. Peaceful, didn't hear any neighbours. People are friendly in the lift and in the apartment building. Nice walking in the countryside and hills around the apartment. Fantastic authentic Le Corbusier apartment but you definitely need a car! We came by train, there are no restaurants or decent bars within walking distance. It's 25 minute walk from Firminy train station to the apartment up hill and up lots of steps, difficult when you arrive with luggage. No taxis or Uber at the station. Small Carrefour 20 minute walk away. The town is run down with plenty of closed down shops and businesses. Apart from the 3 other Le Corbusier sites, which are really worth a visit, there is no culture, eating or nightlife in Firminy
