Beautiful Charente Home with swimming pool

Welcome to our house in Marcillac-Lanville. The house was built around 1830 and is extremely charming. The house is full of art, artifacts and carpets we have collected from our travels around the world, and a beautiful pool in the garden. The town of Marcillac-Lanville boasts an épicerie, a hair dresser and a fabulous pizza place, Caramelo's Pizza! It is a very welcoming town, with a 12th century well preserved Abbey to visit. Enjoy a lovely glass of wine by the pool and take it all in.

Right on the river- 4 bedroom house centre of town

This special place on the gorgeous river Aume and centre of Aigre- butcher, Carrefour supermarket, epicurie, boulangerie, Thursday market, restaurants and bar- a hive of activity in rural France. Upstairs Bedroom 1 and 2 are large double bedrooms. Bedroom 4 ( with a single and a small double bed) is only accessible through Bedroom 2. These rooms share a bathroom off the upstairs hallway. Bedroom 3 downstairs has ensuite toilet and shower with a desk and a fold out single bed if needed.

Adorable stone house in historic village.

This idyllic French stone house can sleep up to five people. It has two bedrooms, a large living room with a woodburner, a fitted kitchen with a large dining table and two shower rooms, one on each floor. The rear bedroom has a balcony that overlooks the garden with a ruined abbey and the Charentaise countryside beyond. Outside there's a summer kitchen, a small terrace and a lawned garden. The village has a delightful cake shop, a popular restaurant, artisanal stores and a museum.

Gîte des Ruches Peaceful & Homely with pool

Situated on the outskirts of a quiet hamlet in Chives, this charming cottage with its stone walls, exposed beams and original fireplace has recently been fully restored. An ideal space for 2/4 people which includes kitchen, living and dining area, patio, garden furniture and BBQ. Guests can enjoy relaxing around the swimming pool, picnicking in the orchard or walking the surrounding countryside. A totally tranquil place to enjoy your stay.

The Sisters' Pavilion

This charming pavilion in the heart of the Charente countryside, built at the end of the 17th century, once welcomed the village sisters with the mission of educating the children of the commune. Unpretentiously renovated, it will offer you a warm and relaxing setting for your holidays with family or friends. This one is completely private with its enclosed garden. Parking is located at the foot of the house and you can park easily.

Lune Palace

Self-built artist's house on concept of sacred geese, autonomous in electricity. Look at the stars from your bed with a skydôme 1.80 m in diameter. Possibility for a family with 2 children as there is a sofa bed. Also 2 additional people thanks to another dome located on the same land ( write to me or see listing: Little Moon palace) 6000m2 of land surrounded by trees, at the edge of a Natura2000 area as well as the charente below.

Located in Montaigon (Gourville), Le Cheval Noir offers accommodation with an indoor heated swimming pool (closed from October to May) shared with guests staying in our 4 cottages, free Wifi The Gite "La Roseraie" can accommodate up to 8 people. End of stay cleaning included. Possibility to rent bed linen: double set 12 euros, single set 8 euros.

It is located in a peaceful village dominated by a 12th century keep. 100 meters from many shops (bakery, butcher, restaurant, bar, tobacco press, bank, hairdresser, food market every morning except Monday until 1 p.m.). Supermarket 3 km away. 20 minutes from Angoulême and 40 minutes from Cognac.
