Holiday rentals with a fire pit in Amarante

Our stay at the lemon farm was incredible. The ponies are so friendly and add so much character to the overall experience. We were lucky to get the weather to enjoy the natural dipping pool & the peaceful surroundings. Top tips when staying - must have a car and use jorge’s recommendations for supermarkets etc near you. Highly recommend taking up the offer for breakfast & the sausage platter, made our experience feel luxurious. Will definitely be back!!

Beautiful location, private and serene, Maria Lurdes is a fantastic host. She took time to show us around and explain the local culture and towns. The house is beautiful with so much space for games, gym, office space, living area is spacious for large groups. The river is right in front with easy access. Will definitely go back again to enjoy the house and Maria’s great hospitality. Would easily give the place 6 STARS out of 5!!!!

The best House I’ve ever stayed at

Five stars to Casa de Cardido and to Rui and Alexandra for being wonderful hosts. We were a little late checking in, but Rui greeted us with a smile and a very generous tabua of local cheeses and meats. The hosts go above anything expected, with a sound system at the pool, exercise equipment, and fresh bread delivered daily. The house is a traditional Portuguese home - and it feels like a “home” not a rental. We spent two weeks here and it felt like staying with family. I noticed that one review commented on how close the highway is. Please know this is not a problem. You can see the highway when approaching the home from the road, but you cannot hear it and it does not interfere with the experience. This is very high quality stay with caring and involved hosts that will make sure you have all you need. I highly recommend.

Such a lovely experience. Marissa was so welcoming and answered all of our questions. We enjoyed the countless recommendations such as the local bakery (San Miguel was our favorite), and the 516 Suspension Bridge. The AirBnb was cozy and so lovely that we really felt at ease and comfortable. We will definitely keep it on the list for future travel!

We arrived by booking the day before because we had to leave the accommodation we had planned. Joaquina really welcomed us with small touches that she took the time to prepare. She is very discreet but remains available if needed.

Great environment to spend a few days on vacation or work remotely. Very welcoming and helpful hosts, I recommend without hesitation! Good idea the small grocery store available ;-)

We were seduced by this exotic, quiet and beautiful place! From the accommodation to the outdoor facilities, everything was great! our 11 and 6 year old children also enjoyed the place. Great hospitality from the host, we already know in advance that we will be back!!

We are very very thankful to Helena and Luis. They are very sweet, helpful and amazingly kind. We felt right at home in this absolute stunning place. It is a bit difficult to find, but Helena was a great help. We LOVED it and enjoyed it to the max! We will be back for sure!

This is a stunning place secluded away from anything nearby. Great for a retreat to be restful, listen to nature and admire the beautiful horses. Cheila was an incredible host, super responsive to any questions or comments and gave us some beautiful lemons from her tree. The house is really well throughout and all amenities are included. Miguel's accommodation is a little paradise, the area is beautiful and the accommodation is fully equipped, Miguel is a 10-star host, he was attentive to everything being perfect, very friendly and approachable. We had an amazing time, thank you Miguel for everything

An ideal place for family vacations. Our 3 year old son was delighted with the casita and the animals, I didn't want to say goodbye to them. We'll be back for sure!

The site has a breathtaking view, everything was as it was in the pictures. O Paulo always helpful and friendly. I loved it and I will definitely be back.
