Staff was wonderful, very helpful and responsive. We had a delightful wine tasting. They set up a taxi to take us to town and told us where to have dinner. The small village was extremely charming, we had a great dinner and our taxi driver was waiting to take us back after. The room and property were top notch. the only minor issue we had and it may be our fault, is we were further away from the Douro Valley than we thought. The directions were correct, but I missed my turn into the property, it isnt much of a road and it sneaks up on you. It would be challenging to find at night. But in the end, we were extremely pleased with our experience and very glad we stayed. We would wholeheartedly recommend it!!

An incredible place! The location was perfect and the apartment was stunning.

Caroline's place is charming. There is a full kitchen and lots of hot water. The location is amazing! To walk out of the front door into the ancient streets and be surrounded by beautiful historic architecture is awe inspiring. The riverwalk and cafes are very close by. She accommodated us with our last minute request and met us when we arrived. I would stay there again for sure!

It was a great stay, the apartment is great, and Filipe is always responsive. A superb view of Amarante and the surrounding area, an accessible and clean pool. Very good restaurant not far away run by Filipe. We look forward to coming back next year.

The apartment is spacious, quiet, well-equipped, we were very well received and very quickly settled in. The kitchen is very well equipped, it has everything you need. The little extra: a place to park the car. it's really a good place to recommend and remember.

An incredible place, recommended to unwind and have an incredible stay!! The host is always attentive to everything you need. The accommodation is a paradise, breakfast is left at the door of the room, it really is an incredible place and we will surely return!!!

Overall a good stay, expected the whole space to be part of the property but it’s actually split in half, even if common areas can be shared, I did not expect it to be like this. Regardless, still a pretty good calm place to be at

Fernando was a welcoming host, and even shared a 50 year old Porto with us. The house is a true gem, filled with antiques, and everything modern that subtly goes along with that. It was comfortable, the beds had the best linens, it was clean, and bright. The view and surroundings of the duoro Valley and the towns could not have been better. I wish to return if we ever come back to this beautiful area.

The stay was great! We searched, on the recommendation of a family member, a quiet place to rest and that is exactly what was given to us. Daniela, host, has always been very attentive and has given her utmost to provide us with a spectacular stay! The apartment was fully equipped and it was easy to feel at home!
