House holiday rentals in Amador County

This was our second time staying at Bryan's home, and it was just as wonderful as the first. The house is fully stocked with everything we needed, making it feel just like home. Bryan was great with communication, reaching out early to inform us about some scheduled work in the neighborhood well before it started, which was much appreciated. We enjoyed our time here and would highly recommend this spot to anyone looking for a peaceful mountain getaway.

We had a great stay, with two families and really enjoyed this cabin, which was exactly as pictured, every square inch of space was used well The bar around the kitchen was great for adults to hang out while someone was cooking. Our two boys loved sleeping in the loft upstairs and built an epic pillow fort around the reading nook. We hadn't realized that the downstairs bathroom was not only ensuite from one king bedroom, but also a 'Jack and Jill' setup from the other hallway with queen and king. That was a pleasant surprise because that meant no one had to climb the stairs to use their bathroom! All in all a great stay -- definitely enough room for 2-3 couples, with 4 twin beds in the loft upstairs for kids.

Our family had a fantastic stay over a long weekend. The house was immaculate and location was very peaceful. It had every amenity we could have wanted and some wonderful extra touches. Our kids loved the game room and hammocks. We will definitely be back!!

We enjoyed our third stay at Andrew's place in Pioneer and our first winter stay. Even though the property is part way up into the mountains, it was still a pleasant temperature. That said, we were about 30 minutes from the closest Sno-Park, where we could enjoy some snow play. As usual, the house was clean and well stocked on everything we could need with plenty of stuff to do inside.

We stayed here for 10 days with our young children and hardly left the property! The house is stunning and there’s so much to explore outside. We spent most days swimming in the gorgeous pool too. Michelle was the most helpful and responsive host I’ve ever met - she was wonderful. Thank you for hosting us!

This home was very spacious and super comfortable. The surroundings were beautiful, and we felt right at home. A perfect get away!

We had a great stay at this cabin! The space was cozy and clean, and the location was great—just a short distance from the lake and some really beautiful hikes. It was a peaceful and convenient spot to relax and enjoy nature.

One-of-a-kind home (two of a kind, I guess, if you count the CO version) made an unforgettable experience for our family (5 adults, 3 kids and 2 pups)!! Thoughtful consideration seeped in every nook and cranny! 1) brilliant open layout strikes perfect balance between having a corner/plenty of room for everyone, yet still with a lovely sense of togetherness; 2) exceptionally well-equipped and spacious kitchen; 3) play closet with enough toys and board games to keep our 2yo toddler and pre-teen girls equally entertained; 4) winter gear to borrow -- sleds, snowshoes, etc. -- kids spent hours playing in the hill across the street (within sight from the cabin). In terms of virtually every amenity -- from quality kitchenware, comfy beds, toiletries, extra blankets, towels, spare friggin' batteries -- the Chesa Madrisa was a couple notches above what one should be able to reasonably expect from a vacation rental! Hillary was an absolute joy to communicate -- we can't wait to be back!

A wonderful fresh and modern home. A corner lot with a nice deck. Sheri was very friendly and responsive, she let us extend our stay by a day. I would highly recommend and can’t wait to stay again. The beds were very comfortable and the decor was very fun!

Had a wonderful time. Dark skies for the stargazers. Saw some house finches, quails, bees, robins, goldfinches, vultures, ravens, and dragonflies.

I can’t rate this place and our stay highly enough. Impeccably clean, beautiful surroundings, and with a lot of helpful tips and amenities. Would happily return for another stay here.

We absolutely enjoyed our stay in this Sweet Magical Home! The location was close to stores and amenities were the best. The beds were so incredibly comfortable and the decor was soothing and peaceful! My mom and I absolutely felt safe and secure in the house and cannot wait to stay again❤️! Cheri’ and Mom

We had a lovely stay. We saw lots of wildlife and enjoyed the peaceful view. The house is great and provides lots of privacy, but also an open living area.

We had an amazing stay at this beautiful cabin! Our group of 10, including 3 kids, found it to be the perfect getaway from the Bay Area. The cabin was spacious, clean, and very well-equipped to accommodate a larger group comfortably. The layout made it easy for everyone to have their own space, while still enjoying time together. The jacuzzi was a highlight—so relaxing and perfect for unwinding after a day of exploring. The cabin also had a stunning view, which made mornings with coffee and evenings by the fire even more special. It’s a very kid-friendly place, with enough room for them to play safely and enjoy themselves both indoors and out. Chad and Ana were fantastic—super responsive, helpful, and friendly, making sure everything went smoothly from check-in to check-out. We really appreciated the peaceful surroundings and would absolutely recommend this cabin for anyone looking for a relaxing escape with family or friends.

We had an excellent stay. Greg and Mariya were very responsive. The house was very clean and they had everything we needed. We loved sitting on the back patio. We would definitely stay here again!

Loved our time Arnold. Really enjoyed the home, especially the hot tub. I loved that the back patio was completely enclosed so that my small dog could also wander around when we enjoyed the hot tub. Close to the super market and lovely hikes.

This home was perfectly peaceful, great place to unplug and had everything we needed and wanted for our stay. Would definitely stay here again in the future.

We had an amazing stay at Maitreyee's cabin. The cabin is exactly as described, spacious, clean, well stocked kitchen, great comfy beds. The cabin is on a very safe neighbourhood perfect for families or solo travellers alike. we were family of 5, had a great time and would definitely come back ! Maitreyee was super responsive, appreciate her prompt communication!

Jennifer's place was fantastic. Close to everything in Arnold, but also far enough from main roads that it felt like you were out in the woods and having a relaxing time. The house was spacious for a 4 family trip and we had a great time. The kitchen and dining room were very easy to cook with many people in the kitchen and a lot of space for everyone to eat together. Would definitely recommend staying at her place!

We had a great time around the holidays. The house was big enough to fit 2 families with 4 small children. Very close to the lake to go on walks and use the small playground there. The place is also close to town to get your supplies.

This place is wonderful!! We had a group of 8. 4 adults and 4 grown adult kids and it was perfect. It was clean and had everything we needed. We would defiantly come back!! It is super close to Big Trees National Park which is a plus. We enjoyed sitting on the patio in the evening and the game room at night. Great place!!!

The house is spacious & comfortable with plenty of areas to gather & sleep. The kitchen is perfect for prepping & planning family meals. With Top Of The World, Cougar Rock, & The Falls trails just steps away from the front door, allows for wonderful hikes with gorgeous scenery. Not to mention, lakes near by, Sequouia Woods Country Club pool, and Murphy's for shopping & eating out. We have rented this house twice now & our family has had the best of times with memories to last a lifetime.

This was a wonderful experience. Deena is a great host. Friendly, helpful, responsive. We stayed over a long and warm May/June weekend. The interior was detailed with so much love and style. Cosy, clean, comfortable, all super well equipped. We also enjoyed the air condition and garage. A very beautiful and absolutely quiet home to relax, surrounded by redwoods. Morning sun on the porch, listening to the birds, with a coffee. Supermarket, lake, redwood park, all just minutes away. Nice restaurants, wineries, beer garden, bars, boutiques, bakery, coffee & ice cream shops, all a short drive away in Murphys. We are thinking of coming back for some winter snow.
