Holiday rentals with a hot tub in Alum Creek

David's Airbnb rental checked all the boxes and exceded expectations. Lovely setting and privacy in the back yard was a plus. Hot tub was my must have and it was better than expected. Had a well stocked kitchen, appreciated the grill and charcoal he left out for us.... bring your own soap and shampoo, but that's the only thing not stocked here. Appreciated the extra paper towels and tp and napkins. Appliances were all new as well which I don't see often so that was really nice. David was very responsive and accommodating as well. I would definitely recommend and would return here to stay.

Madeline’s place was perfect. The house was huge and stylishly decorated...it had such a fun and welcoming vibe. The beds were really comfortable, and the location couldn’t have been better. It’s right in the heart of the Short North, with tons of restaurants and cafes just a short walk away. I especially loved being so close to Fox in the Snow for my morning coffee. Madeline was also incredibly friendly and helpful throughout the stay. I’d definitely stay here again next time I’m in Columbus.

Words can’t describe how unique and beautiful this home is - to start. Everything was so clean and cozy! We wish we had more time to enjoy the hot tub, fire pit, and gardens outside. Everyone had plenty of space in our large group. We really appreciated the extra third floor “kids space!” There are a lot of stairs but well worth the extra steps for all of the space and comfort :) Some restaurants were within walking distance and we were a short drive to church and OSU campus. Thank you for the welcoming touches and the opportunity to stay!

Stayed at Kyle’s place this past weekend with family for a local graduation. Before I even arrived, I received multiple texts saying “this place is AWESOME!” Right off High St with easy access to restaurants and shopping (the Greek place almost right across the street was delicious, and picked up milkshakes from UDF next to that). Took a walk around the neighborhood one evening, and it’s a very cute street - we saw multiple deer! Inside the home, the furniture was comfortable and clean, and the kitchen and backyard pagoda were the perfect hang-out spots. There’s a closet filled with great games and multiple TVs. We had enough kitchenware to make breakfast one morning. Check-out instructions were easy and minimal. Hope we can return someday!

We stayed here for a weekend wedding. It was perfect for our needs. We had 9 staying, and had plenty of space. Everyone was very happy! It was especially good for my mother-in-law who needed some accessibility with our accommodation, and was able to easily get around in this space. We also loved the hot tub and quiet backyard. It was close to downtown (10 minutes), but felt like we were in the country! We will definitely return here again if we travel with a large group to Columbus.

We had an amazing stay with the Box Hop team! Emily, Seth, and team were kind, responsive, and made everything so easy. The house itself was stunning—unique, beautifully designed, and stocked with everything we needed for a relaxing getaway. It felt private and peaceful, yet was super close to all the Hocking Hills attractions. My two teenage boys thought it was awesome, which says a lot! We can’t wait to try more of your beautiful and creative homes in the future. Thank you for an unforgettable experience!

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Amazing Cabin Getaway! We had an incredible stay at this beautiful cabin! The space was spacious, clean, and had everything we needed for a comfortable and relaxing trip. The cabin’s design was charming, with cozy furnishings and plenty of room for our group. The location was peaceful and surrounded by nature. We especially loved the outdoor space—whether it was enjoying coffee on the porch or sitting by the fire pit in the evenings. The host was responsive, helpful, and provided clear instructions for check-in and amenities. We couldn’t have asked for a better experience and would love to return in the future! Highly recommend this cabin for anyone looking for a serene and comfortable retreat.

Post Card Cabin was full of artistic touches! We had everything we needed with so many more personal touches that made our stay extra enjoyable! We boated, fished, enjoyed nature from all the beautiful house views, easy camp fires and relaxing hot tub dips It was a perfect getaway for my lil family to relax and unwind while also exploring and adventuring! I would note that the house is off a very rustic road..our jeep handled it just fine :)

Great place for a romantic weekend. Would definitely recommend the cabin for couples. Everything you need and more for a great getaway.

The place is beautiful! Not too far from hocking hills state park. The host is very responsive and friendly! Only suggestion is to get there during daylight because we got lost, but it is easy to get back on track.

We had such an amazing and relaxing time here! The place was extremely clean and comfortable, and the private trails were so nice. If you are looking for a place to truly get away and unwind and unplug, we would 100% recommend staying here. You will not be disappointed. We already can’t wait to come back!

Al’s place was a home away from home. Very relaxing atmosphere that started inside then extended to the outdoors. Coffee by the pond each morning was so relaxing and ending the day with a dunk in the hot tub was icing on the cake. Such a wonderful oases. We never had the opportunity to use the outside fire places but what a wonderful addition by the pond. The inside was very clean and roomy. The cabin was not only well stocked with tissues, paper towels etc but with replacements. This is not always the case. If the wind blows us that way we’ll surely stay there again. Thank you Al. You have a wonderful place.
