Holiday rentals with a pool in Altos del Maria

Beautiful home! Definitely a great place to stay if you want to get away from the hustle and bustle of the city. The host was very responsive and friendly to any questions we had.

Good location close to beaches, private and quiet place and has everything or necessary for a good stay as a couple or family.

This place was great. I had read one leas than good review after I booked so i was a little worried. But the place was perfect for what we needed. The yard is very private, the pool is great to soak in during the hot afternoons. The beach is great, we spent some time swimming and playing in the surf. The house is a beach house, it has everything you need to be comfortable. The barbecue area is where we sent most evenings cooking and enjoying the sound of the ocean. Diego and staff were great. We wanted to show up a little early and they had zero problems accommodating us. If we had question they answered right away or came by to show us how things worked. This place was perfect for us, i would recommend it for sure.

Great stay. The place was as described and the view was just amazing! Live right on the beach - great. Nearby are some restaurants (e.g. Surf Shack) with top dishes, cocktails and absolutely friendly staff. It was a wonderful stay and the reliable and extremely friendly communication with the host also contributed to this. We will be happy to come back!

We had an excellent experience during our stay at this residency. The property was spotless, as shown in the pictures, very clean, comfortable and equipped to spend a few days relaxing. The host was very nice, always available and attentive to any queries. I would definitely recommend this place and would love to return in the future.

We had a wonderful month here in April-May 2025. Follow the written AND photo pictures she provides the 1st time you try to get here - there is one turn that is confusing but her picture for that turn completely makes it clear. The kitchen is very well equipped. We especially appreciated the air fryer. The location is quiet. The people we have met are friendly. Massive couches were comfortable. House was in good repair. Large yard with fruit and other trees. The climate was great, we only needed the A/C sparingly especially with the pool. All of us (my wife, one of our adult children and our 4 younger kids 12,11,10 and 9) will return. Asados Fefa: tiny & tiny menu but great food at low cost &La Paradita Grill Restaurant (try their Chorizo Tableño) are worth going to though only open weekend evenings, there's a wonderful low cost panadaria a km away, though we never figured out what its hours were! Try the fruit/veggie vendors East of Rio Hato and West of Anton, lots of variety, low $

We went with a group of friends to Fernando's property. We had a great time and communication with Fernando was very fluid. A recommended place.

100% Recommend. Gorgeous Villa, well equipped and lots of space inside and out to relax and play. Well suited to families. Full access to the larger resort amenities which is a bonus. The artwork inside is also a nice touch. Maria was a responsive and hospitable host. I wish I could have stayed longer :)

David’s place was great . He was communicative and friendly . The beach view was amazing . There’s nothing like having breakfast on his balcony . Everything was clean and spotless .

Such a little treasure in Buenaventura. Will definitely book again. Very well stocked kitchen and so beautifully decorated. We really enjoyed calling this place home for a few nights!

Awe man…where do I start??! This was by far more than we expected! The hosts were amazing, which matched the condo! We were just in awe of the views, the well stocked kitchen, and all the little extras like the liners for the coffee pot and even the air fryer! Beautiful bathrooms, bedrooms, and OMG the balcony looking over the pools and ocean!! No doubt we will spread the word and already know where we’re staying the next time we’re in town!! Thank you Madeline and James for making this a dream come true for my family!! I don’t have one single complaint, and believe me, that’s not like me!!

Location is nice , but during month of May when we stayed was too quite , no people Around , shops not reliable to open when is scheduled, no nightlife and not much to do in the surrounding. But it is beautiful beach , pool , secured nice building and amazing balcony view .

We had a wonderful stay at Malakai's apartment. The design is absolutely beautiful—stylish yet cozy, and it truly feels like a home rather than a standard vacation rental. Everything we needed was thoughtfully provided, right down to the full set of cutlery and kitchenware. The furniture and decor are far from the typical touristic setup—they're inviting, comfortable, and clearly chosen with care. It was the perfect place to relax and feel at ease. Highly recommend!

This is the second time staying at this property and it is excellent. It feels like you were home with everything you need to have a great family time. Joshua's attention is A+, despite the short time I booked everything was perfect. Highly recommended!
