Holiday rentals with a fireplace in Alto Mijares

We spent a few days with friends and felt right at home. The house was very clean and tidy, had plenty of kitchen utensils and an outside barbecue with option to make paella. Beds are very comfortable, and the terrace is spectacular. There are many paths to walk without traffic and a park for the children very close by. Thierry was attentive and available at all times. Beautiful place, perfect if you need to disconnect and enjoy nature. Decided to go in June so that the pool was also available, and it was really nice to plunge in the late afternoon. The house has basically everything, and the hosts are always kind and always ready to help in case. Even if it's hot outside, the house remain quite cool, especially the ground floor, so that's great. The host will guide you to the house, as it's a bit secluded and the roads are slightly unpaved - but not to worry, you can easily do the trip even with a small car (did it with my 500 with 0 problems). The place is very charming and relaxing. I was travelling with my cat (she also enjoyed the place a lot), and I felt really safe as a woman by myself. Really recommend!

The hosts surpassed all expectations, they were a delight. So warming and welcoming from start to finish, nothing was too much trouble, always ready to answer any questions/queries. Such a lovely peaceful place to chill with all the home comforts you need. Not to far to travel by car to visit the beach,shops etc. I was humbled by how much kindness was shown by the lovely hosts, going out of their way to make it a special Easter for us by buying us some local traditional cakes & a delicious homemade "Frittata" which was left unexpectedly by our front door after a busy day touring. We hope to see you again in the future, hopefully my Spanish will be better 😀

Had a fantastic stay - thank you Maribel! The house and garden were even bigger than they looked in the photos and absolutely perfect for kids to play in. The house was very clean, comfy and well equipped and great for being inside or outside depending on the weather. The neighbourhood was very peaceful and we loved strolling to the beach for a swim each day. Maribel gave some great restaurant recommendations and helped with supermarket directions, and it was an easy walk to churros and icecream at Canet. We’d all love to come back!

We had a wonderful stay in this house! It’s located right in the heart of the historic center of Sagunto — narrow streets, old facades, and a unique atmosphere that makes you feel like you've stepped back in time. The house itself is authentic and full of character, with stone walls and historic details, yet it’s also cozy and comfortable. Inside, it's spacious, clean, and bright. The large terrace became our favorite spot — we had breakfast, dinner, and relaxed there every day. The kitchen is well-equipped, making cooking easy and enjoyable. A big bonus was the bicycles! 🚲 We used them to get to the grocery store and even to the beach — walking would take a while, but cycling made it a pleasant and fun trip. The area is quiet and peaceful, and the hosts were very kind and responsive. Everything was well-organized and stress-free. It’s a perfect place for a slow, soulful vacation — full of charm and history. Highly recommend!

I have been following Aurora as an occupational therapist for a long time, and this shared space project seemed like a great idea to meet in person, and address many concerns that with her recommendations will help us find solutions. The house is very clean and tidy. It was our first time in this type of accommodation, and this getaway to Vall d'Uixo was a wonderful experience, as a family, including our pet, of course. A great welcome and very respectful coexistence. Always attentive to us, but respecting our family moments. She offered us the service of a pet sitter to be able to visit the Caves of San Josep, and recommendations for places to visit very close by. 100% recommended. We were 3 ladies, on a 4 night trip, and Jordi's apartment was perfect for us. It's in a relatively peaceful neighbourhood but has an amazing cafe for breakfast on the corner, a big supermarket on the same block, a row of bars and restaurants just across the road, and is 20 mins into the centre of the old town. Jordi was a brilliant host: from the PDF sent at the time of the booking with all his local recommendations, to his offer of early check-in/late check-out as he didn't have bookings either side of ours. This meant that we really got to enjoy our last day in Valencia instead of lugging our suitcases around until our evening flight. It's in a very striking building, and it's green turrets making it easy to spot from quite a distance a way. Quite handy for those of us, who are navigationally challenged. Valencia is a city that has everything. I'd go back for another visit and I'd stay at this place whenever I do.

Lovely lovely property - didn’t want to leave. Everything we needed and more. Lucia was a delight to deal with and nothing was too much trouble - fabulous restaurant recommendations as well. We can’t wait to go back!!

Very satisfied with the stay.

There were six of us over an extended weekend there and the house was perfect for our purposes. Very spacious, super equipped, uncomplicated landlord and easy access to the train to go to the city (about 30 min). All in all absolutely recommend.

The property is extensive, quiet and very homely. Easy to relax and chill out by the pools while the barbecue smokes away. Juan was a welcoming host and we would not hesitate to recommend a stay there.

The property is spacious and ideal for groups/families. We hired motorcycles and explored the nearby Sierra Calderon national park. The property is extra secure with off street parking for vehicles and is ideally situated for both Valencia and the surrounding countryside. Also a short walk from Betera. Rafael is an excellent host and went above and beyond tot ensure we had an enjoyable stay.

Natalia’s place is wonderful. Great location, supermarket, restaurants, bakery, coffee shop all walkable. Tastefully decorated with a lovely pool and outside space. Great for families and relaxing. Fully equipped kitchen — home from home feel. If you want to see Valencia you need a car. Natalia was an excellent host (one of the best we’ve experienced) and gave faultless recommendations! We will be going back.

9 women on a lovely relaxing break. The place was perfect for our needs. Gorgeous pool and excellent location. Oscar was very helpful and communicated throughout our stay. We would come back!

This is a beautiful house in a very scenic location. All the photos are 100% accurate. The walk from the beach feels like a light cardio workout, but I consider that a good thing on vacation. Any questions were addressed immediately, though there weren't many to begin with. The owners were not intrusive and respected our privacy. I highly recommend this place for a getaway with a large group or with children.

Impeccable stay: spacious and very complete house, superb pool, very pleasant and quiet environment and above all Susan very friendly and available while being discreet. A special mention for the squirrels that we already miss.

Good value for money, very nice area full of services, the beach next door....very good. The host is always pending. We were very comfortable. Thank you very much.
