Kid-friendly holiday rentals in Alto Boquete

All I can say is it was a great experience staying at Victor’s place and plan on going back. He is a great host and cannot say enough good things about the place.

Great location if you are willing to travel to Boquete or Volcan; the house looks like it was recently built. The spaces are perfectly suited for a family of 8 (7 adults and 1 child in our case). The location is perfect for enjoying Boquete and is just a minute from the main road connecting Boquete to David. The kitchen couldn't have been more clean and tidy, and access was very easy. Our only recommendation is not to rely on the address listed on Airbnb, as it's not exact. We were able to get there with the instructions provided by the host. Otherwise, my family and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay and we thank the host for the service and the opportunity to stay in this beautiful home.

At first we thought it would be difficult to get around but it turned out to where we needed to be in order to visit our desired locations. Initially the heavy rain made finding the place a bit of a challenge(my phone was jacked)but it was all good.

You can tell that the place is brand new as there are a few things pending to complete: the laundry area has a wall that’s not fully built and painting is not the best, but the place smelled amazing when we got there, bed was freshly done, kitchen and bathroom was clean, they were even cutting the lawn the day before we were leaving. Host allowed us to check in earlier which was really nice after a long drive and was super helpful every time we needed something. The area is BEAUTIFUL, cozy and quiet. You also have stunning views of Chiriqui. Would highly recommend!

Jeff was fantastic. From guiding me from the airport in a pouring rain to his many tips on local treasures, Jeff was right there with me all of the way. My trip was significantly enhanced by Jeff penchant for a good experience for his guests. I’d go back in a heartbeat.

Do not hesitate to stay here! I’ve lived in Panama for 7 years and stayed in many Airbnbs across the country. This is the number 1, best Airbnb I’ve been to so far (for this price point). The owner put ALOT of love and care into every detail… Peaceful, stunning view, private, has EVERYTHING you could possibly need - boardgames, bbq, ping pong, etc etc.. very comfortable king bed. The indoor space is elegantly decorated, lots of usable outdoor space, only 10 minute drive to Boquete. Very clean upon arrival. Will recommend to all my friends as well… did not want to leave !! 😭 Thank you Milena.

One of the best places I've stayed. The location was just outside Alto Boquete by a few minutes. The road was narrow but passable--as expected for this area. Gated driveway gave a sense of security. Absolutely stunning property, with flowers and tropical plants everywhere, the yard was perfectly maintained. The house was as displayed in photos--actually even lovelier than expected! The interior was immaculately clean and the furnishing were in overall good condition. The living room area had a murphy bed that my daughter slept on, and I stayed in the single bedroom with king-sized bed. The temperatures were very mild, even a bit chilly in the evenings, so we only had to use the AC's one time. I loved that I woke to the sounds of birds and the sun pouring in the window. It was idyllic. Kitchen had most of the amenities one would expect, and we cooked most of our meals with no issues, using fresh local foods! All in all, a wonderful place to stay!

The appartment was amazing! But jesus was an even better host. He answered any questions we had, due to the complications with the protests in Panama, we extended our stay for a day, everything went smoothly. Jesus was very helpful with everything. The apartment is small, but it has everything you need. Warm, hot, water, comfortable bed, you're in the center in three minutes but you're out of all the hustle. Definitely recommend :)

A whimsical fairytale come to life!
We stayed in this incredible apartment in Jaramillo, Boquete for 4 days, and it truly exceeded every expectation. The views from the garden were simply breathtaking—lush greenery, a peaceful pond, and a chorus of bird songs every morning. It was far better than any hotel experience we’ve had in Boquete. The apartment was fully equipped and thoughtfully designed—every little detail had been considered. We felt instantly at home. Our 2-year-old was in heaven, waking up each day excited to run outside, listen to the birds sing, and watch the fish in the pond. Thank you, Scott, for being such a warm and attentive host. This place is magical, peaceful, and deeply nourishing—we’ll definitely be back. Highly recommend to anyone looking for something truly special.

Wow what a great place. Would stay there for a month.. Beautiful..

The casita was everything and more than I had hoped for! I was hoping to be away from the downtown for peace and quiet, yet close enough to go to town for the restaurants and cafes. This cute casita was in a perfect location! The surrounding nature and beautiful gardens were breathtaking and it was simply a delight to meander throughout the gardens and relax near the creek. A great place to hike too! I fully enjoyed my stay!

Liliane and Robbie were excellent hosts! They were always available and helpful anytime I reached out to them and the property is absolutely wonderful. This was my first time in Panama and they helped make my first experience an incredible one.

Our month’s stay at Margarita’s was most enjoyable. Wendy and Ray were wonderful hosts and provided us with great information about Boquete plus the occasional ride around town. Margarita is very sweet and we loved her gardens and plantings while Francisco is a nice young man who was always responsive to our questions or requests. The surroundings are unmatched with gorgeous grounds and stunning views of the mountains. All the birdwatching you desire can be had from the private veranda. The studio apartment is cozy but having the private veranda makes it feel larger. Also the king size bed was very comfortable. While town is a couple of miles away and a car would be helpful, it is an easy stroll downhill. We would often walk down and return by taxi ($4/$5) or local bus shuttle. You can also walk downhill to the main road about a half mile away and easily catch a passing bus ($.75) or taxi into town. If you enjoy nature and beautiful, peaceful surroundings, this is your place!

Ezekiel is a very kind man whose top priority was ensuring my comfort. Very much respected my privacy while taking the opportunity to check that everything was good at the appropriate times. Bachelor style apartment fully equipped for a very pleasant stay. 10 minutes from downtown Boguete, it would be a steep climb back up the hill if you didn't have a vehicle but totally doable.

So beautiful place. All of my family enjoyed the place. I would like to visit here again.

It was perfect for us we had a function at the resort just a 100 yards away . It was nice to go directly with mo traffic and parking issues. The security was excellent . There was staff around I am sure they disposed of trash in the matter of minutes. House was fully supplied with cooking stuff we only cooked one meal. Restrooms good nice hot showers and laundry room a great add. Even though I live in Panama it was nice not having to drive to the function each day. It was a nice get away for a few days .thanks Larry

Perfect place to have a good rest and enjoy all the facilities of the place beach,. restaurant, fitness, .. I didnt get to see the surrounded outside the complex. Beautiful balcony with ocean view, well equipped, very nice host! I recommand for sure

Nice place to stay with the family!

Check in was very easy. The place was clean, had comfortable beds and a small kitchen. We were able to easily walk to get groceries and go to restaurants. Carlos, the caretaker, was attentive to any questions we had. It was a very enjoyable stay!

Cute apartment, right on the beach! Gorgeous sunsets. Very comfortable with AC, wifi, fridge, washing machine, and hot water. Bedrooms are on the smaller side. Water is not potable, so you will need to bring water or fill a bottle/tank in nearby Guarumal.

As a solo traveler I felt very safe and comfortable here. the balcony overlooks the pool and there's a stand of bamboo that blows in the breeze at night and it's just lovely. you do get road noise when you're on the balcony from the highway coming into Bouquete, but you cannot hear it at night when you're in the bed. everything was just lovely and I highly recommend staying here. it's perfect for one or two persons. it's an easy 10 minute walk to downtown, just stay on the back road that the house is on and it takes you all the way to town! I am moving to Panama in a month and I will recommend this Airbnb to all of my friends who want to visit and stay in Boquete!!

This place was very close to the center of Boquete yet far enough from the Main Street that you don’t hear the traffic. It has two bedrooms with very comfortable beds. One bedroom does not have a closet, but there is a rack to hang your clothes on. It’s simple and had everything we needed for a weekend away. For longer stays, there is a laundry about 4 blocks away. Jessica made arrangements for us to get in early. As soon as the restaurant next door opened, the owner was able to let us in. We had a great stay.
