This property is a literal slice of heaven. It's so peaceful and magical and feels worlds away when only being a few minutes to town. The house was one of the most comfortable airbnbs we have stayed in – and we have stayed in many! Our whole family enjoyed it. Great for adults, kids and lots of room for your dog run and explore. Wish we could have stayed longer!

There was a variety of snacks that were left for us, which was very appreciated. Also the hot tub was the star of the show! The place is clan and it comes with everything that I could think of. Highly recommend.

Had the most amazing stay with my pups to get away from the city. They got to run around and be free while we enjoyed the hot tub. The aesthetics of the place were 10/10. Used the wood burning stove religiously as it was a bit chilly, which made the stay so cozy. Grass valley is a really really cute town too. The perfect private quiet getaway.

From the antler chandelier serving rustic royalty realness to the marble drop countertops practically screaming luxury, this place had it all. Cozy crash pads for the whole crew, a backyard begging for BBQs, and a dining table that somehow squeezed in seven wild kids and six exhausted-but-thriving adults. The house? Spacious enough to hide from the madness when needed. If there was a hiccup—it was the tragic absence of laundry detergent. But hey, there’s a Chevron nearby for all your last-minute needs. With Sugar Bowl and a few other ski resorts just minutes away, hitting the slopes was easy peasy, snowy breezy. Bonus? The backyard’s surprise sledding hill—because nothing beats watching the kids wipe out with pure joy. Meanwhile, the game room and upper loft kept the little ones entertained while the adults fully embraced the R&R life in the hot tub. Now that’s a vacation done right.

Nicolas’s home is excellent — clean, spacious, and very comfortable for more than just a short stay. The terrace is great for BBQ, and the shade from the acacia tree makes it perfect for breakfast outdoors. We truly appreciated that the house is pet-friendly. We had two large dogs, and they loved the small fenced area and dog door. Please clean up after your pets if you bring them too. Upstairs has several bedrooms, one with a beautiful sky and forest view. The kitchen is well-equipped (though a few more dishes would be great), laundry is available, and internet is strong. TV works well too. The host lives next door but gives you total privacy. Nicolas was always helpful and respectful. Only two small notes: the house is close to a road (not an issue for us), and we hoped the hot tub was in a more cozy location — we didn’t end up using it. Great location: close to wineries, an apple farm, shops, and gas stations. We visited Sacramento, Sonoma, Napa ,even Lake Tahoe to San Francisco

My friends and I had a wonderful time! The cabin was beautiful, private, and had an awesome view. The house was clean and very similar to the photos provided. We enjoyed the bath tub and relaxed on the deck! Definitely recommend this place. Ryan was very responsive and friendly!

What a lovely experience at this property! The working ranch with a vineyard, creek,chickens,alpaca, goats and even a few puppies was refreshing! It was so thoughtful of the host to give us fresh eggs and a bottle of homemade wine! The veranda style deck, hot tub and expansive views of the mountains was so relaxing. The house had plenty of rooms to have your own space yet areas where we could all gather with great views. I would definitely stay here again! Just lovely!

The workshop was absolutely charming and exceeded all expectations. From the moment we arrived, Gail's personalized welcome signs made my pup and I feel instantly at home. The craftsmanship and attention to detail throughout the space were truly impressive, and the cozy ambience made it even better than the photos. Gail was incredibly attentive and communicative throughout our stay which is always greatly appreciated. Will be coming here again when we're in the area :). I highly recommend the workshop to anyone looking for a cozy retreat.

Just stayed at this beautiful AirBnB cabin—absolutely stunning! The host has amazing taste in decor, and every detail is thoughtfully planned, from cooking equipment to outdoor candles for keeping bugs away. The breathtaking view and cozy outdoor deck made it easy to relax and count the stars. Plus, the host even provides a self-made handbook with local guides and dog-friendly trail information, which was a big plus for us. Truly a perfect stay!

We really liked this place. Rural, very scenic. The cabin is very well constructed and well maintained. Nice step-in shower. Good kitchen. Bring food. There aren’t many dining choices nearby. The trading post at Dutch Flat is surprisingly well stocked, which is a good thing because the mini-mart/gas station at the Dutch Flat off ramp is the only other place around to get provisions.

This cabin was so lovely, peaceful and clean. Timothy is lovely as well, quick to respond, thoughtful and very accommodating for myself and my dog gratefully. We love this area so much already, so peaceful and beautiful. We would definitely love to stay here again. Very grateful to the host.

Marilyn has created a home away from home for her guests. The house was much larger than we expected, clean, and had everything we needed. We ran into Marilyn many times on the property and she was so friendly and engaged (especially with my 4 year old). She showed us her new baby chicks, brought us a dozen fresh eggs, and provided carrots to feed the horses in the evening— what a special treat! The house was so quiet and private with comfortable beds, good showers, and so much wildlife. We really enjoyed ourselves and hope to return.

The cabin was such an amazing get away. The location is perfect — 10 min from the Yuba and Nevada City. The cabin is cozy but with everything you could need. And the sauna, tub, and outdoor shower made it feel like we had our own private spa. Will definitely be back again!

What a wonderful Place! Because we made a wrong-day booking at "The Davies Family Inn at Shadowridge Ranch" nearby, Linda Davies called her friend Gordon if he can help us out with this beautiful small house. The small white House is very beautiful, has a huge garden behind and all amenities you want. The Rainshower is awesome, Kitchen with everything, x Remote-Controls for TV, DVD, AC, Fireplace, Lights etc. THX Gordon!

The cabin was amazing. Just outside of town and on a private pond. They have a summer camp across the pond. You hear cheerful kids playing and the serene landscape of the ca foothills. Truly a great place to stay.

Cedric and Jun’s place exceeded our expectations and was perfect for our weekend stay with family. The upstairs living space was inviting and comfortable and the kitchen was open and bright and had everything we needed. Bathrooms were modern, light and super clean and bedrooms were very cozy. We loved that two of the bedrooms were downstairs and separate from the living space and very quiet. Another bonus was the beautiful deck and gathering space just outside of the kitchen. Overall we really appreciated the quiet surroundings, ample parking, and beautiful and very clean home. We will definitely come back and stay again and recommend to friends visiting the area!

This is a beautiful home that was filled with lots of fun things to borrow. This has a great kitchen with everything you can imagine and very nice quality everything. They even offered a few things for guests that may have forgotten something! I highly recommend this beautiful home! Thank you for the wonderful place to stay to celebrate my 60th birthday.

The house is filled with character and so much fun to stand, but the balcony overlooking the meadow below filled with oak trees down at the bottom really did it for us. Not to mention the grey fox that visited us a few times from a distance. What fun!

We were pleasantly surprised to find the cabin just as in the photos with all the amenities that were described. Everything worked; the TVs had many channels to choose from, board games, complimentary smore's stuff, Keurig coffee, and all the cooking necessities were there including spices, oils and some food. All the propane tanks for the outdoor fire and BBQ were full, the showers were clean, the bathrooms were spotless and the appliances were all new or near new. It was like stepping into a cozy dream cabin and we felt so cared for and looked after. We can tell that Christine truly cares about her visitors considering the detail and care she puts into making sure we were comfortable. She provided a local attractions list that was extremely helpful in locating fun things to do nearby and she even had a free entrance/parking pass for Jenkinson Lake!!! All in all a wonderful and memorable experience. We will be planning a winter escape to her cabin soon.

A Perfect Stay! From the moment I arrived, I was impressed by the seamless check-in process and Maria’s warm hospitality. The space was immaculate, tastefully decorated, and equipped with all the amenities I needed for a comfortable stay. The location was ideal—peaceful yet conveniently close to local attractions like Jenkins lake. I especially appreciated the private location of the house, its views, and all the games there. Communication with Maria was prompt and helpful throughout my stay. She went above and beyond to ensure I had everything I needed. I highly recommend this Airbnb to anyone looking for a relaxing and enjoyable getaway. I can’t wait to return!

We had an amazing stay at this secluded property with stunning 360° views and a peaceful atmosphere. The drive in was beautiful, and the location was perfect—close to OHV trails, hiking, a reservoir, and shooting areas, yet tucked away on a quiet road with no noise. Shelli was a fantastic host, welcoming us personally and showing us around. Generator noise from nearby properties was minimal and didn't affect our stay. We only used ours once; the battery power lasted most of our 4-day visit. The property combines the peace of camping with home comforts like hot shower, kitchen, and clean bathroom. Our dogs loved the open space, though wildlife is around. Other things to note are lots of spiders and mosquitoes in May, and the water had a sulfur smell - but it made my hair super soft! Overall, a peaceful, comfortable getaway.

Shannon’s place was lovely. Great space indoors and out for 4-6 people and our huskies. Beautiful redwoods in the yard and visits by turkey and deer. Close driving distance to restaurants. Shannon’s place is very well equipped with anything you would want or need for dining, sleeping and relaxing. I always appreciate a property that feels like someone’s home rather than a hotel. Shannon’s place was exactly that. Shannon is a very responsive, communicative and helpful host! I should add that there are great vineyards and the lovely Sly Park nearby that we weren’t able to explore because we were in the area for a graduation in El Dorado . Cute place in the heart of Nevada city with off street parking, walking distance to all that Nevada city has to offer. Brianne met us at check in which was really nice. While it is a small place, it has everything you need including kitchenette with mini fridge, high quality bath products, tea/coffee. I enjoyed the clawfoot tub with complimentary bath soak and very comfortable king bed. Despite being close to shops and nightlife, I found the place to be very comfortable and quiet (we visited in April). I appreciated the antique decor and aesthetic. Things to note- not ideal if you wish to cook your own food although you won’t need to with so many food options and restaurants nearby. My partner is 5’10 and had trouble comfortably standing up in the shower. There is a hand held shower head as well that helped! We would stay here again! Thank you Brianne
