Tower holiday rentals in Alps

Sari worked with us after original contact person passed away unexpectedly. Jody had asked for a tree to help with Christmas atmosphere. Our 2 apartments had centerpieces that were attractive and emanated the smells of Christmas. Both units had trees. The lower one was outside the plate glass window with lights and red balls. The one in the second apartment was in the living area and really set the mood for Christmas for us all. Jody was so excited about seeing the faces of all of us when we saw the tower. I am sure he would not have been disappointed since each of us explored our units. He would have been so pleased. Thank you for all your efforts to make our stay as pleasant as could be under our circumstances. We did enjoy our time in your place.

A very pleasant and relaxing week. The hosts are very kind and very friendly. Atypical rental in a beautiful quiet setting, with exceptional views.

The host Monica was exceptionally welcoming. Showed us around to ensure we knew everything about the tower. She also had fresh pasta and a cake for our arrival! Gave us instructions on the best way to cook it. The tower is beautiful and has been updated in the most complimentary way. From fellow craftsman to craftsman the design and workmanship of the interior is beautiful. Pictures do not do it justice. If you love mid evil times this is your place.

This was an incredible and relaxing getaway—we honestly wish we had stayed longer. The tower is just as magical as the photos, and the views, olive grove, and pool were even better than expected. The surrounding town is darling and quiet, with just a couple of small restaurants and markets, which made it feel like a true escape. Luca was kind and responsive throughout our stay. Just a few things to note: there are a lot of stairs, and you’ll want a smaller car to navigate the narrow roads leading up to the tower. It’s a real castle, so it’s older and rustic—but full of charm and clearly loved. The only downside was that the hot tub on the roof no longer works, which was a bit of a letdown. Still, we absolutely loved our time here and would highly recommend it.

Well organized, responsive and ready to accommodate requests

Lovely location, structure of great charm and amenities suitable for the type of environment. The hosts are very nice and very responsive, although not available on-site. We didn't have any issues. Too bad for the price that..is quite high; I understand that you pay for the experience, and it is there, but this could affect the possibility of returning more often with other friends interested in the type of vacation

We loved our stay at San Fabiano castle. The location was perfectly situated between Siena and the Brunello/Montalcino wine region, with easy access to each by car. As the listing states this location is best for those with a rental car or pre-arranged transportation. The grounds themselves and common areas of the castle are lovely, with a lot of space to wander and appreciate the castle from different perspectives. The suite is clean, and has fans that help on warmers days/nights. Our temps were in the low 80s and overcast and the suite stayed cool enough to be comfortable with the fan. A minor suggestion is to have bug spray handy if you tend to attract mosquitos (we were told they can be common due to the nearby river). I’d be remiss not to mention Giovanni who was the host on site supporting us throughout our stay. He was very easily accessible throughout our stay. He helped with recommendations in the area and even helped us secure a taxi to our train station. Being connected to the family who owns the estate was a special and unique experience we’ll never forget.

Beautiful cottage, beautiful environment, beautiful welcome. Erwan presents the cottage, the environment, the region with passion. His smile, his availability, his sympathy, his desire to do everything to make the stay pleasant, contributes to the pleasure of the stay. The quality of the bedding, the attention to detail in the decoration, the different small outdoor spaces that allow you to enjoy a magnificent view should be emphasized. Charming location, curated, able to give a journey through time and also a starting point for many excursions nearby. Staying in a medieval tower is priceless and even the stairs to take several times a day (as well as doing your health) are a great price to pay to feel Castilian once in your life. Perfect host, Debora is a very kind and passionate person.

Wow what a spectacular and magical place. The views are incredible, the pictures don’t do it justice. From the moment we came in contact with Luca, he helped us every step of the way. The Tower was high end antique features, that I have never seen before. Very tastefully done. We fell in love with the roof top and the town. The town has coffee shop and 2 very high rated restaurants. Luca had great recommendation of restaurants and winery’s. The tower was clean, fresh, and the water pressure was amazing. The shower was incredible. 😍 There is parking at the top , where you can unload your suitcases. Tv in all the rooms. Heat as well. Great internet. The beds are cumfy. I cannot express how amazing this place is. 15 minutes to the top 5 winery’s in the region. We will be back for sure.

Very nice place. Not close to the main area of Florence but a very unique stay and would recommend!
