We LOVED our stay here! Set right in the marina, you can view the sea and people watch all day long from the balcony, which even has a covering if it’s raining or too sunny. Hope to be back one day!

Perfect place for Monaco Grand Prix week. Exactly as pictured - we spent hours on balcony with view of the yachts! Carlos communicated very well, very responsive, and accommodating to our needs.

The greeting upon arrival was excellent, we were offered an upgrade as some guests had cancelled due to weather, a nice gesture! The appartment was well furnished, clean and very comfortable. The location is excellent. Far enough from the busy touristic Bellagio but close enough to walk. The ferry pick up is just steps away. The grounds are immaculate and large enough to get a good run in every morning (5km) track style staying on the stone path that twirls the 42 hectar property. The grounds allow you great views of Tremezzo and Villa Carlotta accross the Lake and you can swim if the tempersture permits on the stairs that access the Lake. This is really a great place to stay! Lorenzo's apartment reminded me of a three-room suite in a high-end hotel (bedroom, sitting area with couch and TV, and kitchen-dining room, as well as 1.5 bathrooms). It was super-clean, had top of the line kitchen and bathroom fixtures, built-in closets, comfortable bed, etc. The bedroom was quiet as it was on the back side of the building (away from Piazza Pitti). AC and internet worked well. As others have noted, the apartment is up two flights of stairs; but also note that the entry into the building and the stairway are narrow such that other people in the building cannot pass you going up/down, especially with suitcases. I only saw other people on the stairway once during my two-day stay, but it was precisely when I arrived. In that moment, I wished I had left my big suitcase in storage and only brought up a small suitcase. However, once I made it up with all my stuff, I was glad to have everything with me.

We had such a lovely stay at Lola’s place. The garden was lovely to relax in during the evenings and the location was perfect - walkable to the main attractions in Florence but quieter and less hectic than being right in the centre which was perfect for us! Lola was so friendly and helpful - she gave us loads of recommendations for local restaurants and helped us with queries during our stay. She also gave us lots of cute thoughtful gifts for our baby!

Great stay at Denis apartment, apartment was simple but perfect for a few days and great location with tasty restaurants around. The view is breathtaking!

Chiara was an amazing host, very communicative, responsive, helpful, and friendly. She met us between her place and where we arrived at the train station as with the narrow streets, it could have been difficult to find. Everything was as described, very clean, and beautiful. We often ran into her cat honey as we came and went and it was a highlight of our trip. Easy 5 stars and we will definitely return to this place again when we come back to Riomaggiore!

Maya was an incredibly responsive and helpful host, making sure we had everything we need. The chalet was beautiful, with amazing views, and was well equipped with everything you could ever need for a holiday, and more!

We had a lovely stay! Elisa and Alessandro are so kind and very helpful with anything we needed. They made a reservation at a restaurant for us when everything was fully booked. Thank you for your great hospitality!

Unser Aufenthalt war wirklich aussergewöhnlich und wir konnten es sehr geniessen. Alain hat extra Holz und Material für den Brasero zur Verfügung gestellt und hat auch die Kinoleinwand für uns installiert oder das Bier aufgefüllt, als es leer war. Wir fühlten uns äusserst gut umsorgt und die Location mit den ganzen Ausstattungen ist wirklich einmalig. Von der gemütlichen Grillstelle, über die hammer Bar mit allen Annehmlichkeiten bis hin zu Whirlpool und Kino, war es einfach ein aussergewöhnlicher und unvergesslicher Aufenthalt.

We hebben een fantastische week gehad bij François. De omgeving is adembenemend net als het uitzicht. Het huisje is brandschoon en heerlijk om in te verblijven. Absolute aanrader.

This estate is a dream—life changing in all the best ways. From the jasmine-scented gardens and sweeping views of Siena to the beautifully restored guest suites—personally designed by Andrea, an architect and true artist—every detail felt magical. He greeted us so warmly, spent generous time sharing the estate’s history, and even gifted us a bottle of his family’s wine—which was absolutely lovely and made us feel truly welcome. The plunge pool was a refreshing retreat, and the setting was pure tranquility: birdsong, rustling leaves, and golden Tuscan sunsets. Andrea gave us a wonderful tour and shared the story behind his family’s efforts to preserve this incredible place. We adored the gentle Maremma dogs, Fiora and her puppy, Pecorino, who made us feel right at home. We were so impressed with this stay and Andrea’s efforts to preserve this very special place. Every moment here felt like a scene from a film—elegant, peaceful, and filled with soul. We can’t wait to return.

We absolutely loved this place. What more can I say that hasn’t been said? The view is outstanding. You’re very high up the mountain. One morning we there was low lying clouds above the lake … and we were looking down on it from above the clouds. Clean and contemporary design, with a comfortable bed. You’ll need a car! The garage is very tight, so rent a smaller car. And getting there from Varenna involves a drive up a narrow winding road. It was fun drive … for me, at least.

The place was absolutely wonderful! It was very peaceful and quiet. The town was walkable. Laurence was kind enough to offer transportation whenever we needed it and she helped us navigate the French train system and setting up restaurant reservations. The place was very clean. The hot tub and sauna were nice as well and very private! She made the experience of being in France very authentic; she definitely went above and beyond a typical AirBNB host.

We had a wonderful experience at this Airbnb! The place was spotlessly clean, beautifully furnished, and had everything we needed – very well-equipped. The views were lovely and the location was perfect and peaceful. Our host was incredibly welcoming and helpful – she made us feel right at home and was always there if we had any questions or needed anything. We truly enjoyed our stay and would happily come back. Highly recommend this place to anyone visiting the area! ❤️
