Holiday rentals with breakfast in Alpine Shire

Thank you (and Daphne and Violet) for hosting us at Planetrees. What a lush oasis you have. We planned our annual family weekend away around staying in this gorgeous property. We thoroughly enjoyed roaming the stunning gardens, sitting outdoors and cosying up in front of the fire at night. We loved visits from the Dachshunds, and all the space to wander. The linens and towels felt luxurious, as did the beautiful soaps and washes in the bathrooms. Genevieve was a responsive and friendly host. Unfortunately our son fell ill and we had to leave the rest of our family at Planetrees after one night, but we hope to come back soon! Thank you 💛

We loved the place and felt right at home. It was clean, well presented and very comfortable. Would highly recommend to anyone wanting to relax and enjoy. Location was great and easy to get to other nearby towns. Walks around the local area are also beautiful.

This lovely cottage is superior accommodation and very comfortable. Jo and Howie are great hosts. They were very respectful of our privacy but were there if we needed them. We very much enjoyed everything about Berrimbillah Cottage: the peaceful bush surroundings with lovely birdlife, the amazing night skies, proximity to Beechworth, which is a charming town and the lovely drives through the countryside exploring other areas of this beautiful part of Victoria. We especially valued the fact that our dog was just as welcome as us. We stayed for more than a week but longed for more. A piece of heaven on earth! Great way to relax and unwind from the pressures of city living.

Heather’s place was fantastic and perfect for our snow trip to falls creek. Heather was also very responsive and kind. Will definitely be checking for availability at this location for future trips

Marisa was fantastic with great local knowledge of places to go to, the house was very organised and very clean. Great location.

When we arrived we were greeted by Charlie, the chocolate lab, she is gorgeous and very friendly. The views were breathtaking from the front of the accommodation and there is a balcony and a front balcony with Webber barbie and table and chairs. The place was definitely home from home, could not of wished for more. We will definitely be back. We slept really well. It was very peaceful and relaxing. Thank you

Angela was so warm and friendly, it was like going to my granny's house. Her place was clean and tidy. We had lovely chat in the evening but she left enough privacy for me. In the morning she wasn't rush, let me finish my yoga lesson and then come back to pack my stuff. We even had a beautiful morning tea at the balcony, acompanied by some feathery friends outside of her fence. Angela is like an angel! It's just like entering into a family's house, welcoming and relaxing. I highly recommend her place to everyone with my gratitude!

Cindy is friendly and kindly and well introduced the route to easy get there. The house is clean and quiet with the most sunrise from the valley. Cindy also prepares a nice breakfast food that we can enjoy the beautiful day from morning. Thank you very much!

It felt like a real treat staying here. The apartment is very stylish, well appointed and immaculately clean. And you could just sit all day and admire the views - the whole side of the apartment is windows and the view from the bath tub is wonderful! From our vantage point above the treetops we admired the autumn colours and enjoyed lots of birdwatching (King Parrots, Rosellas, Magpies, Gang-gang Cockatoos, White Cockatoos and more) - even had a kangaroo bound past one morning. The complimentary breakfast croissants and muesli and the bottle of wine were much appreciated. It's a quick trip into town in the car or a pleasant walk in (around 15 mins). Bright is a lovely, friendly town - so pretty, lots of great places to eat (like Katsu Japanese Restaurant, Sir Loin's Bar and Grill and Bright Brewery) and we loved visiting farm gate shops (like Nightingale Bros Apples and Pepo Pumpkin Seeds) and doing the Canyon Walk around the Ovens River. Would definitely stay here again!

A gorgeous property in the most serene gardens. Very quiet location , yet brilliantly located to Harrietville township and easy access to walking trails. The cottage was warm and cosy on one of the coldest weekends at this time of year. Very comfortable and everything we needed. Recommended!!
