Family-friendly holiday rentals in Älmhult

The week we spent at Kent's place was truly amazing! We were lucky to have really good wether so we could sit in the sun on the large back porch, prepare some barbecue, or spent the evening hours in the whirpool. When we booked this vacation we hoped to spent some relaxing days together. These expectations were not only met, but significantly surpassed. Kent was a formidable host over the entire time. Starting by greeting us in person to answering all our questions about the local area. We can not recommend a stay with Kent enough and we would come back any time.

A beautiful, spacious holiday home with a great outdoor area – ideal for relaxing. Especially nice: the cows right next door on the pasture! Everything was also completely uncomplicated with our dogs. Rasmus was a great host – very friendly and always responded quickly to messages. We felt very comfortable and there was nothing to complain about – only the bed was a little uncomfortable for us, but that is certainly a matter of taste. Overall a really nice stay that we are happy to recommend!

A fantastic house in a fantastic place. Already the path to the house leads through the beautiful nature. In the house everything was perfectly prepared for our arrival and everything worked very well. Carina and Leif gave us a friendly welcome and showed us everything relevant. It was beautiful in this house and especially with this unique location on the river. Priceless.

I had a great week at the accommodation. It's perfect to relax and to really enjoy some quiet time. I had great walks with my dogs right around the house. The view from the lake right beside the house is stunning and the hot tub a nice bonus. The house is great equipped and quite cozy.

We had a great time at Eva's and Ulf's. The house is very spatious and perfectly equiped to host 8 people. We really enjoyed the calm of the garden and the nearby lake and can only recommend this place!

We had a great time at this spectacular place. Quiet, gorgeous views and plenty of water activities. Per was an excellent and very generous host even offering our son a wakeboarding lesson! Everything was just as perfect as you can hope for when booking an accommodation. We definitely would like to come back here soon.

We (being two adults, one teen, and our dog) stayed here for five nights. Communication with Ole was super good from the start. We found the house to be clean, comfortable, cozy, and peaceful. The yard is great with a small fence so our small dog could roam freely. The deck furniture is super comfortable. Even though the cabin sits on a small road, it is a deadend street with only once house on it past his so there is no car traffic and little foot traffic. The kitchen is well equipped, the living room is comfortable, the dinning room is nice. We found the beds to be comfortable. We used the gas grill outside for most dinners and it was great. There are games and the tv had Netflix, Wifi worked well. Ole was super flexible and accomodating, he allowed us to come early and leave late on our last day when we had a late night ferry to catch. There is a small grocery store close buy but it doesn't have much. There are tons of attractions to do that are close by. Great stay.

We spent wonderful days at Lennart's. A wonderful place to relax. In just a few minutes you can walk to the beach and in about 20 minutes you can reach the beautiful Âhus. Here you can shop, experience Fika and have a nice meal or drink at the harbor in the evening. A great host with tips for excursions and very likeable. We can only recommend coming here!

It was a wonderful stay. The two small lakes are wonderful to walk around and enjoy the idyllic surroundings. The place is lovingly designed and we had everything we needed. Nilla is a very nice hostess and we felt really comfortable. We would definitely book again!

Fantastically cozy little cottage, right out to a river and with good places to sit down and enjoy nature. I was at Sweden Rock festival for the first time, but definitely not the last, Eva was very helpful with information about parking, shopping and attractions. The place is a little hidden away, so it is incredibly quiet, it has only been a bonus after a whole day of heavy metal :) I have only the warmest recommendations for the home and the hostess :)

An old well preserved house in the middle of the forest, the only thing heard is nature and its contents. Incredibly relaxing. Always quick reply from the host in case of questions.

very easy to get to, and honestly one of the most beautiful places I have stayed at, the view from the bed is gorgeous. it's such a gem of a place and I can only recommend it 💎 the host is very sweet, and responsive.

We had a lovely week at the lake house in February. The view of the lake at breakfast was great. The house had everything one needs. Honestly the sauna is lovely in the winter where you can familiarize yourself after a long hike on one of the many beautiful routes in the surrounding area. Warmest recommendations

Annette is a really nice hostess who supported us a lot even in difficult times. Check-in was also very smooth and if we had help or a question she helped us right away. The house is also very nicely located and fully equipped. We also enjoyed our time in the conservatory very much. You have a beautiful view of the countryside from the conservatory. We can only recommend this cottage:)

Very quiet and pleasant accommodation with good space for several families/relatives to hang out/ eat and have a good time. Proximity to many sights/activities. Kenny was clear, responded quickly to questions and a safe host.

We rented this house from Katarina for a long weekend, the house was well-equipped with everything you could need. Katarina was also a very good host, easily accessible and nice. Strongly recommend the house in its entirety because of its good location near Båstad and the beach promenade as well as Katarina as a host.

Kajsa's place is perfectly located to explore Skåne. It's located within one hour or less from all nice places such as Helsingborg, Malmö, Falsterbo, Ystad, Simrishamn and more. Plus there are 2 supermarkets close by and you always have the pool if you wish to take a slow day.

We had a great time in Frode's house. It is located in a nice community with lots of small little paths and great facilities. There's much to visit nearby. The house had everything we needed and we felt right at home. It could have been a bit cleaner, but it was fine for us. Frode was always responsive and gave us lots of advice on what to do. We'd definitely come back.

We were two families with small children and enjoyed ourselves very much. There were plenty of play opportunities (the playhouse was a winner for the kids). Being able to charge the electric car, lighting the grill and taking a dip in the hot tub was very much appreciated.

We had a splendid week! Great weather and the children enjoyed the pool. It was hard to get them out of the house :-). House is located near a supermarket and close to cities like Lund and Malmo. Possible to visit them by train as the station is also very near to the house. Great time and we can really recommend staying at Katarina & Pete's house.

We travelled as a family of 6 - grandparents, parents and 2 children and had an a wonderfully relaxing time at Asa & Stefan’s house. The house is as described and really well equipped. The swimming pool was a big hit and we all enjoyed our evening walks to the beach. We hadn’t realised how quiet the area would be in the middle of August but it still suited us well - except it was difficult to hire bikes for our small children. If we come again we would make sure to book well in advance. Everything at the house was made very easy and thoughtful and meant we could all relax and enjoy ourselves.
