We liked it very much and can only recommend the accommodation. You have to know that the accommodation is in a rustic style but that did not bother us. S-Bahn can be reached in just 3 minutes on foot. Potential starting point for hiking tours, and for local recreation by the lake.

We had a nice time in Helmut & Paula's vacation home. The accommodation was superbly equipped & very spacious. The communication around our stay was always super fast & very friendly. Definitely recommend!

Janine is a very hospitable, helpful, and attentive host. Her home was spotlessly clean and gave us great peace of mind during our family stay. The location is perfect—nestled in the Alps and right by a flowing stream, we enjoyed a wonderful three-night stay. The house is equipped with everything you might need.

We were here as a family of seven and are already planning the next time, because it was so beautiful. Ideal with small children, if you want to be undisturbed and close to nature and appreciate the charm of a rustic Allgäu farmhouse! Christian is a great host who was immediately ready with good tips.

With April 2025, it was our fifth time as guests in Angela's apartment. We came back many times because it's a magical place, we loved it in all seasons. But now our family is large and will no longer be able to host us. However, we highly recommend this apartment, it is nice, nice, clean and equipped with every comfort. Angela is a great host. We felt super comfortable. The location was perfect for our trips by bike. The communication was always very friendly and fast. The accommodation had everything we expected and left nothing to be desired. There's a lot of love in it. The large street in front of the house is relatively quiet at night and the windows are very well insulated, so no problem at all. We were very, very, very satisfied and would come back any time as well as highly recommend this place.

Tine and her husband were delightful. The BnB was clean with a modern bathroom, lounge space where the Netflix was signed into a guest account, and everything you’d need in the kitchen, including baking paper, salt, vinegar, coffee pods for the machine etc. Tine was free to pick us up from W-F train station and while driving us to the BnB gave us information about the local area, and left a print-off of the local bus timetable, highlighting the relevant bits for us. She drove us past the local restaurant which she recommended (we went that night and loved it! Felt v traditional). We had breakfast outside on the chairs provided, to take in the surreal view. She lives next door with her husband and was very happy to help if we had any questions. Wattens, the local town is about a 50 min walk downhill, a ~€20 taxi, or a cheap bus ride. Plenty of walking to do locally, with Wattenberg maps dotted around the area. The local restaurant is a 20 min scenic walk away. Can’t wait to return!

We were here for a long weekend and it was a wonderful location. Very calm very peaceful. There is a pretty good bakery with groceries and a very nice Italian restaurant nearby. Perfect location to enjoy the nature. Offers to many activities around like hiking, biking etc. The host was also very helpful and communicated very well. I would definitely recommend this place.

The space was not only beautifully decorated but also impeccably clean and well-equipped with everything I needed for a comfortable stay. The location was perfect—quiet yet conveniently close to local attractions and amenities. I particularly enjoyed the cozy atmosphere and the lovely views from the windows. Andrea was a fantastic host, always available to answer questions and provide recommendations, which made my trip even more enjoyable. Overall, I highly recommend staying at Andrea's home. It truly felt like a home away from home, and I can’t wait to return!

We had the pleasure of using the accommodation for our fishing holiday. There are many lakes and hiking trails in the area. So you won't get bored. The accommodation is easy to reach and corresponded to the pictures in the listing. Everything was very clean and cozy. The kitchen is fully equipped. Susanne is extremely friendly and always easy to reach. We received many helpful tips for hiking, fishing and recommendations for restaurants and shopping directly upon arrival. All in all, the stay was perfect and highly recommended.

Annika's place is fantastic and I definitely recommend it. It is very clean, spacious, well furnished and equipped with every comfort. You can see the commitment with which Annika takes care of her. The garden and terrace then offer an appreciable added value in case there is good weather. The location is ideal because it is close to the lake and allows you to easily reach many other beautiful towns in the area. Supermarkets, shops, and restaurants are all within walking distance. Communication with Annika was quick and easy. Thank you so much for a great stay!

We had a wonderful stay at the villa south of Munich. The location was peaceful and scenic, perfect for relaxing while still being close to the city. The house was clean, well-equipped, and very comfortable. The host was responsive and helpful throughout. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a quiet retreat with easy access to Munich and lake Starnberg.

Incredibly beautiful house and beautiful quiet area! It really looks like the pictures. Handling the whirlpool and sauna is super easy. Left nothing to be desired. However, since it is located in a quiet area, excursions must be made by car.

The villa is beautiful and was worth every penny for this price. We had a great time. Only the high additional amount for bed linen and the complicated smart home are to be criticized. A short briefing would certainly be useful here.

The description of the chalet by the lake was apt. A really beautifully restored and furnished large farmhouse, although chalet is more appropriate. A very beautiful outdoor area around the house and especially by the lake!!! Simply an accommodation that left nothing to be desired.

The accommodation is very suitable for a larger group, as there are many rooms and several bathrooms and toilets. As a large family (2 parents, 4 teenagers, aunt and grandfather), we appreciated the large dining table for socializing and playing games and enjoyed the large terrace with grill for barbecue evenings. There is enough space for everyone to be together, but also to rest alone. The hosts were very friendly and inquired about our well-being every day and responded quickly to our questions. The neighbors were also very friendly and even gave us tips for excursions and information about the area and its history. The area has many opportunities for activities for all ages: Excavated lakes for swimming, Ulm for sightseeing or shopping. But we liked the gelateria best, which was 5 minutes' walking distance away:-)) It was a very nice weekend and we would love to come back! Warmly, Family

Very nice place to stay for a weekend with friends or family. Spacious kitchen, bathrooms and rooms. Separated from the lake only by the (non-disturbing) railway line, great view, very large playground on the lake, thermal baths and downtown within walking distance. We'd love to come back!
