Very friendly host, but difficult to communicate due to the language barrier. A clear email in advance, which allows you to enter immediately upon arrival. Spacious garage where you can put your car dry and let your ski stuff dry. The house is dated, but that was already visible in the pictures. Still, everything was clean! The beds are comfortable and clean. The kitchen also has everything you need: stove, fridge, dishwasher, microwave, coffee and tea. For the kids, there were games and a playsyation. Behind the house is a lawn where the dog could sniff. There is not much to do within walking distance, but it is about 20 minutes drive from the ski slopes of Winterberg. In summary, it is a nice, spacious, somewhat dated, clean house with plenty of space inside and outside. Friendly hosts and good location to relax.

We stayed with our friends for the weekend. Combined we had 4 children. It was great for the kids playing outside and they had a great time. Highly recommended! Would love to come back.

We had a wonderful stay at the Waldhaus. I don't think I've ever been in an AirBnB with better amenities. Communication was nice and easy. The sauna area is very nice and it is a real highlight to be able to go from it to the fire bowl in the garden. With a beautiful high-quality pool billiard table and an outdoor dartboard, we had great entertainment - but we also simply enjoyed the large balcony and the surroundings. We will be happy to come back.

A very nice place to stay. Although it is a bit remote, it is an excellent place to relax, especially thanks to the wellness area.

We were in this beautiful holiday home for an extended weekend with 13 people. We felt very comfortable. Everything was clean and above all the children were super happy and could play in the beautiful garden with the toys. The Bach was a particular highlight. We will be happy to come back.

Quiet Lge to relax

The house was as described. The communication in advance was great, we already knew exactly what to expect. Check-in went smoothly. The play barn and game room were also very appealing for us. In the area you could do a lot of business, also here there was information in advance. Lots of options for sitting outside. In short, we felt comfortable at the place and can recommend it.

We stayed in the apartment for the second time and felt very comfortable again. Heike and Detlef are very helpful. If something is needed, try to help immediately. If you are looking for peace and quiet in nature, you have come to the right place.

We spent some nice days at Klaus's place in Selkentrop. The accommodation is newly renovated, totally cozy, clean and is very quiet and close to nature – ideal for a small break with children. Especially great: the private playground right by the house. Everything was well equipped and child friendly (high chair, fall-out protection by the bed). Otherwise, everything was great and Klaus, who lives on the property with his family, was very friendly and easily accessible.

Beautifully located cabin in a quiet, small resort with direct access to hiking trails and a great view. The decor is really nice and the bathroom brand new and modern. Definitely a recommendation for a quiet short trip, even if the price is a bit high in my opinion.

Had a great stay with 2 couples. Beautiful surroundings for touring by motorcycle. With some consultation with Ramona, we were able to get our entire fleet of vehicles in good shape. A car with a trailer and 3 motorcycles. Ramona was readily available for questions and consultation. A very nice cottage to stay in, we think that even as a family you are well accommodated. Nice games available. Very attractively decorated without unnecessary frills. And good beds sleep fantastically. Also grateful use of the barbecue, charcoal was even present. This is replenished so that the next one does not miss either.😉 We will definitely be back again.

We really enjoyed our time in Hoheleye. It is a cozy home, perfect is you want to wind down. The people are really guest friendly and the fireplace is absolutely amazing. I would really recommend it!

We arrived for the SW-Motech Open House with 4 motorcycles and a car. When we asked for a parking space, we were even provided with a covered spot :) The house was clean and cozy - we felt right at home and were able to enjoy a relaxing evening after the long journey. We liked the cozy furnishings best - sofa, chairs and beds were very comfortable. The old radio sideboard provides good music and atmosphere. The terrace was perfect for rounding off the day. We didn't miss anything and were absolutely happy with the great accommodation and the lovely contact with our hosts. Thank you! We will be back.

A nice location, with a terrace at the back, where you could sit nicely on the river, and behind the garden. It was a spacious house, with spacious rooms. Even the kitchen was a separate, and very spacious space. Everything was available. Very clean and tidy. Nice hiking in the village. Shops are 4 kilometers away. Edersee 20 minutes by car. Really worth it. A nice spicy walk done there. In short, value for the price.

Had a wonderful time in a comfortable stay. Too bad the electronic door handle gave it up the last night so we had to sit outside for an hour. However, the case has been resolved by a friendly neighbor and the owner. Too bad Quartierfreund could not be reached...

The whole stay was great. Place was as described. With two people, the apartment would have been too narrow for me personally, but as a solo traveler completely sufficient.

We (4 adults, 3 children) felt very comfortable here! A very cozy and lovingly furnished house with everything you need. Plenty of space to be together, but also to retreat in between. We can very well imagine booking again!

We spent an extended weekend in this great house for 8 and were completely thrilled, especially by the diverse and large lounges and the park-like outdoor area. The equipment is more than extensive and we missed nothing. The house with its ambience and tasteful furnishings is truly unique. Anne gave a tour of the house, as well as tips on shopping and dining options in the area. She was also always available for questions. We definitely want to come back.

A trip with 3 adults and 2 children. Plenty of space, so many loving details. An incredibly beautiful garden. All as described. Whether for grandma and grandpa or the children... everything was there and really lovingly designed. Open the door and feel good! The old large farmhouse was a great accommodation for a long weekend for us two families with 3 children each! Even if we adults had to duck our heads more often (low ceiling height), the house was big enough and cozy for everyone! We were also able to enjoy the great, large flowering garden with the children every day. In addition, Ludwig and Gerda were courteous hosts who were very attentive and courteous. Highly recommended for families.
