We booked spontaneously and Fernando was very responsive, friendly and helpful despite being 200kms away. Very quiet place with great view.

Beautiful view of the Douro, easy to reach from the train station, climb was a bit exhausting, but the view was worth it.

The apartment of Manu was a great place to relax in the Douro valley. We really liked the view! Everything you could need during your stay was there. This also made it not a really suitable place for a family with young children: the house was full of big and small objects that could fall/break. Also there are stairs to the bedrooms. We were there in May and the temperature inside was 14 degrees. The bed was comfy, the shower great. Muito obrigada!

Great little quiet spot …great swimming pool

We stayed here for two weeks while working remotely and couldn’t have asked for a better setup. The house is thoughtfully equipped, even with external monitors ready to use, which made working seamless. The kitchen has everything you need. Dona Manuela, who takes care of the house, was incredibly kind and helpful, even with the language barrier. And the daily delivery of fresh bread was such a thoughtful and genuine touch. It’s a place that’s both practical and welcoming, we’d happily return.

Quite a hike up the hill if you don’t have a car, just bear that in mind. Also if you’re going into town to eat, the same applies. However the upside of course is that the views are outstanding. Quiet and tranquil, we were extremely happy with our stay. Great hiking on the doorstep, lots of wine tasting if that’s your thing. One very nice touch was the traditional custard tarts and lovely bread/rolls left outside our door each morning by our host. Very nice touch indeed

Everything was perfect except for the lack of soundproofing between the bedrooms and the lack of dish linens to try and clean. Thank you very much!

We had a fanstastic stay at Jane's place. Surrounded with beautiful hikes, great vineyards and plenty of amazing activities. The flat was perfect and Jane was a wonderful host with a lot of little kind touches. On top of that she was really helpful and arranged a cot for our baby. The flat was really clean, comfortable bed, great location, packed with everything we might need. We can also say the neighbours and locals were really friendly too. Would highly recommend!

Nice studio apartment in a very lovely little village. We did a great walk up to a viewpoint, and had a wonderful dinner in the village. The apartment was spacious and served us well!

Very comfortable place to stay in the centre of Pinhao. Really nice touches, complementary cake and port in the room and a welcome drink in the bar downstairs.

Ana was a great host, the apartment was fully stocked and had so many special additions, like meat, cheese, and bread, fruit, eggs, and other breakfast foods in the pantry. Fresh bread on the door in the morning!! Wine in the refrigerator😃 Pinhao is great to explore and be a homebase. It was wonderful to relax on the balcony and play cards in the living room after a long day of fun.

We loved staying at Vitor’s property. The view from the balcony was absolutely amazing. The apartment was well equipped. Vitor was a lovely host who showed us his wine making business and gave us local recommendations. He also made sure we have candles when the was a long power outage in the whole country and made us feel like he’s giving us extra thought.

Excellent, clean, and modern apartment! It had everything one could need, including a stocked kitchen with great coffee, a nice shower, and air conditioning. The bed was comfortable and the place overall was peaceful, which made it easy to rest. Parking was easily accessible at a nearby garage. Thank you for a wonderful stay!

The place was outstanding!!! Sparkling clean and luxuriously equipped. I felt very pampered and thoroughly enjoyed the stay. I can only recommend the apartment to anyone. My hosts were very patient and extremely friendly even though I arrived much later than planned.
