We felt very comfortable in Moritz's accommodation in our 3-week summer vacation 2024. The location is fantastic. You have a beautiful sea view from the terrace. It's very quiet and you practically only hear the birds. A beautiful viewpoint is just a few minutes walk from the house and from there you can enjoy the sunset over the sea. But also from the terrace you have a great view of the setting sun. To explore the island, do shopping or eat, you are definitely dependent on a car. To escape the hustle and bustle of tourism during high season, just the thing. The house is conveniently equipped and there is everything you need. Washing machine, dryer, barbecue, everything there. We loved the large, fully covered terrace, where you can sit outside even with a rain shower, and the hammock. We practically never used the living room and dining area in the kitchen because of the terrace.

We had an amazing stay at Mitche and Kurt’s beautiful home. The house is absolutely stunning — thoughtfully and tastefully designed, with a remarkable attention to detail. You can really feel the care and love that went into creating this space. The view is simply breathtaking, and waking up to it each day was an experience in itself. The house was fully equipped with everything we could possibly need — it truly felt like nothing was missing. Mitch, Kurt, and their wonderful team were kind, responsive, and helpful from the very beginning. Their warm hospitality made our stay even more special. This is one of those rare places that stays with you long after you leave. We’d love to return one day — highly recommended!

We had a lovely stay at Dave's place. The village was welcoming, and we felt a part of the community for the short time we were in Pedreira. We especially enjoyed the views, the cats, and the nearby hikes. Dave offered helpful suggestions and tips, and even offered some cold drinks also. The hot tub was just perfect after hiking. We hope to return at some point.

We had a wondeful time for our week there, great base to explore the island from (definitely recommend hiring a car). Loved sitting out on the patio looking over the ocean in the evenings and seeing the sunset. The bed was super comfy and a great shower too. Roxanne and Nuno were very responsive to any questions we had (and went out of there way to help us check-in early), highly recommend staying there.

A great and unique place to stay! Beautifully maintained. Given the age of the house, the wind can be heard/felt on windy/stormy days. This takes some getting used to. Please know that the house is situated in a beautiful park, with keys to access the park after opening hours. On the lake you can use kayaks, and there are also kids bikes in the shed.
