Holiday rentals with a fire pit in Alfredo V. Bonfil

Wish I had more time to craft a review befitting of Leon's awesome place. We spent a month there and it was just lovely. My favorite part of the house were the brick dome ceilings. unique and beautiful. If / when we go back to Cancun I'll be trying to stay here. Before I got there I couldn't figure out how the house could sleep 9 people, but it totally can. The main house has one large ensuite bedroom and two other large rooms with lots of comfortable loung-y furniture that could easily sleep 6 people. Then there are two separate apartments with their own ensuite bathrooms. You access these two apartments through the beautiful central courtyard that connects the main house and apartments. Of note, the main house has a second full bathroom that visitors or other guests can use. Location. The house was close to restaurants, the gym, the main mall (Plazas Americas), large grocery stores like Walmart and Chedraui, and a lab - random but super convenient when I got sick. Most things are walkable and taxis are easy to flag. You will be in real neighborhood with a park just up the street. There was a Taco stand just up the block so it was easy to get a breakfast taco if we wanted. We were in town for personal reasons that didn't involve going back and forth to the beach, so I can't comment on that. Speaking of real neighborhoods, there was some kind of club or bar that played music at night. It was noticeable but not loud. I'm a light-ish sleeper and was able to sleep just fine. Responsiveness. There were a few small issues that came up during our stay but Leon was SUPER responsive and got things fixed immediately. For example the water in Cancun is really hard and crystallized in one of the shower heads so the pressure got weak. Leon came right over and fixed it. Same for the washing machine. He had someone come in the next morning and when they couldn't fix it, he took our laundry to a professional laundering service and covered the cost. I could say more but I think you get the gist. I loved it and would stay again.

la casa de Leticia cuenta con todo lo que necesitas para un grupo grande de personas. Está bien conectado a las calles principales y super tranquilo. Lo recomiendo si rentaste un coche ya que está retirado de la ciudad. El espacio es amplio, acogedor y bastante cómodo, lo genial es que se conecta directo a un mini super donde puedes hacer compras rápidas para antojos. La alberca es muy amplia y hay sillas cómodas para relajarse un rato en el exterior. recomendado ampliamente 👌

We loved our stay at Casa Arena! Christian was very kind with us and made us feel right at home! He gave us the recommend for Walgreens express to buy groceries and it is really a great option for a grocery store! The quietness and serenity of Casa Arena is wonderful, and you really can’t beat the location. Thank you Karla and Christian!

The stay was exactly what we were looking for; private, quiet, peaceful, relaxing and away from all the crowds. Lucia and Michal are exactly what you would expect from a super host; attentive, responsive, informative and went above and beyond to ensure our stay was comfortable and relaxing. The pool was a perfect perk after a long day out and the shop within the community had everything we needed to enjoy our stay. All in all this stay was 15 stars out of 10!! Highly recommend and would absolutely stay again!

La ubicación del lugar está ideal para accesar a las playas públicas, a pocos paso esta el muelle para transbordar a isla mujeres . El personal muy amable. Tuvimos un contratiempo con el agua y una television y nos dieron pronta solución.

Excelente atención, y los espacios bastante amplios agradables, que combina con lo tranquilo del lugar lo cual te invita a relajarte despues de salir a la playa etc u otras actividades, creo está más que excelente para descanzar y la cocina muy amplia para los amante de la cocina, podría mejorar la estufa pero todo lo demás excelente. Felicidades

Clean, great place to stay! Easy drive to either end of the island and two local restaurants to walk to. Definitely recommend both restaurants! Rooms were spacious and great for a family! As others stated, the rooster can be annoying for light sleepers but owner told us he would have a talk with the owners. Private location off of the main road and view on the rooftop was great to watch the sunrise or sunset. Awesome communication with owners and easy check-in/check-out!

Fantastic and exactly as presented. Jesus is always quick to respond to questions. Clean and well maintained. Only one issue to iron out. Upon our arrival the guard at the gate did not know about where the B&B was nor who we were. Texted Jesus and he arrived within minutes. Communicated with the guard and lead us to the B&B. I'm sure this will be resolved in the future, but heads up. Ask Jesus about accessing the property past the guard entrance. Loved the place. Enjoyed the pool. Peaceful. Will be coming back.

The location was comfortable, very clean and good furnishings. Gustavo responded to questions and was extremely helpful. The view and proximity to the ocean is amazing. There is a private beach with lawn chairs perfect for swimming and snorkelling.there is a small pool which is maintained on a regular basis. The grounds and parking lot are well maintained. The location is gated and very quiet and safe. There is a family beach within walking distance and many beachfront restaurants. It was our home away from home for 5 weeks. Definitely recommend this location. We will return.

This Airbnb was a nice stay, The apartment complex was nice as a whole, i definitely recommend. The pool looks as pictured and lights up at night. The rooftop itself wasn’t as pretty as pictured but it did have a great view. The jacuzzi itself is pretty big but takes super long to heat up! The apartment itself was spacious, clean, comfortable with small balcony &’ 2 full bathrooms &’ 2 bedrooms. The complex staff was friendly. P.S , don’t lock the door handle from inside if you stay here! Like I did, I was locked out for 4 hours and if you do ask for Marcos 😂

We had a very nice experience staying at this place. The bungalows are comfy and so are the beds. It’s situated in nature and it’s very quiet at night. Cristina stayed up until late to let us in, because we had to wait a long time for our luggage at the airport. Thank you very much! I highly recommend this place - perfect for when you’re arriving late in Cancun and don’t want to drive super far anymore.

Un lugar mágico, esa es la descripción correcta, es cómodo y es privado. Tiene temazcal y los servicios de masajes lo complementa a la perfección. Un cenote super cerca. Las cabañas están de primer nivel, limpieza, orden, espacio. La alberca es el plus, un chapuson y a continuar con las experiencias q te brinda el rancho. Comida y bebida exquisita. Y la anfitriona, es muy amable y esta al pendiente en todo momento, vale por completo lo que se paga y no dudaré en regresar pronto y llevar amigos y familia. Literal es una escapada del exterior con todas las comodidades para disfrutar y descansar.

If you are looking for a beautiful, peaceful, and private jungle experience, this is it. The home is absolutely gorgeous - I promise these photos don't do it justice! It is extremely private, located just a little bit outside of Solferino. Solferino is the perfect little town with so many kind people. Just 30 minutes from Chiquila and a quick ferry ride to Holbox if you want some more excitement. Octavio and his mom were excellent hosts, and even made us some homemade juice from local fruits that was delicious! Do make sure you get directions to their cafe before you get to the town. There is no cellular connection and we had a difficult time pinpointing exactly where they were, especially considering we got in quite bit later than planned and it was dark out. We couldn't have asked for a better experience!

What a cool jungle experience. The climate felt cooler than I thought it would be. Sirley is a great host and really tries hard to make sure everyone is comfortable and having a good stay. The property is well looked after. I borrowed a bicycle from the property and wandered around the backroads of Central Vallarta. Cenote 7 Bocas was a quick bicycle ride away. But please remember, this is truly the jungle. Only nature lovers will enjoy this tranquil experience. Spider monkeys frequent the property, I stayed a week and they came 3 or 4 times. I met amazing people from all over the world there and they taught me a lot about local flora and fauna. Sirley is a great cook and provides cost effective meals with plenty of food. Thanks Sirley, you will see me again!

This is my third time staying here, over the course of the past three years, and every time it's a joy. Gorgeous surroundings, and the centoe is a joy. Wonderful way to finish up a Yucatan/Q. Roo holiday, as it's really conveniently located for getting back to the Cancun airport.

Al llegar nos estaba esperando Don Miguek, una persona muy amable y atenta, nos explico a detalle las instrucciones de la casa, amenidades y nos mostró las instalaciones, manteniendo la alberca implecable. La cocina muy bien equipada y toda la cabaña muy limpia. Un lugar para descansar alejado del ruido de la ciudad, muy recomendable para las personas que aman la naturaleza y están buscando silencio y desconectarse.

El lugar es muy bonito y tranquilo, la zona está muy apartada de puerto morelos y algo complicado de llegar. Aunque tuvimos que cancelar la reserva por un problema de mantenimiento en el lugar, el anfitrión entendió la situación sin problema.

The place was really beautiful and peaceful. I am so happy to have been able to spend a night here to unwind. Everything went smoothly, the actual cabin was lovely, nicely decorated and just a very zen environment with incredibly lovely hosts. I definitely want to return. Highly recommend.
