Nice place for a quiet get away. Sauna and hot tub are great additions. No neighbours so we're able to enjoy the garden into the evening.

Cliff Walk Cottage, Cotton of Auchmithie, Arbroath

PedroRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
This cottage is wonderful. It's very cozy, has everything one could want including a big hot tub in a very secluded garden. We have dogs and because the garden is surrounded by stone walls and fences, it was perfect to let them wonder while we were in the hot tub. Very secluded and secure garden. The area is just idyllic. Two minutes away from Auchmittie and in the middle of beautiful countryside and so close to great beaches too. The hosts were excellent in all aspects too.

Wild Farm Cottage

HarveyRating, 5 stars1 month ago
Truly “off grid” in the literal sense! It runs on batteries and a generator!! Despite it not having wifi we all had great 4G so never felt truly disconnected thankfully. It’s such a private place with literally nobody for a square mile or more probably. I would say in the winter you will need a 4x4 to access as it’s a mile down a dirt track! Amazing place and can’t wait to revisit :)

Traditional Cottage in a Quiet Area of Town

ClaireRating, 5 stars1 day ago
Gorgeous cottage on a lovely row of houses away from the road. I used Laura’s cottage as a base to bag some munros in the area and work remotely - it was perfect. We brought the dogs who were happy in the enclosed garden and we made use of a dog park a few mins drive away so they could have a proper run. I’ll definitely be back!

Glenlivet@Bluefolds, Moray, Cairngorms, Scotland

CarolineRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
We had a wonderful stay at Bluefolds for my Dad's 70th. The view from the property is spectacular and ever changing, and you'd never get bored of that alone! Sue was a wonderful host, very welcoming and proactive. The accommodation has everything you could need for a stay there. Take your walking boots, make sure your pets are treated for ticks (as its on a sheep farm), and have an incredible time :)

Holiday Cottage in beautiful Speyside

AngieRating, 5 stars4 weeks ago
Lyn of Sheval Croft is a piece of heaven on Earth. It was incredibly charming inside and sitting in the dome in the evening watching the sunset was so peaceful. We loved watching the horses roam in the field behind the house. Jennifer was a great host giving us incredibly detailed instructions that made our stay seamless. She also provided fantastic recommendations for in home whiskey tasting by Steve and local in home meal delivery by Mac & Cat. We hope to make it back to Speyside and would absolutely stay here again!

Secluded luxury retreat on a country estate

DuncanRating, 5 stars2 months ago
This is an outstanding place for kids and furry friends. Sue and Jim could not have been more helpful or welcoming - the cottage is pristine, cosy and with all you need no matter the weather. The grounds are stunning; affording you real privacy and lots to explore and do from climbing trees to den making, and all whilst surrounded by nature. You are only 10 mins from Inverurie which has plenty of shops to meet your needs. A trip to the Old Post Office for brilliant cakes, Castle Fraser and Kemnay are worth a visit as is the Pit Stop for a great fry up and the Gordon Highlanders museum is perfect for a raining day. Easily the most pet friendly place we have ever stayed.

The Housie

AnkeRating, 5 stars4 weeks ago

Bev’s place was beautifully appointed and the additional extras - milk, coffee/tea, snacks etc were much appreciated. Bev was helpful when asked for directions to a nearby church, managing to provide a postcode. We all felt very comfortable and relaxed here.

TRANQUIL RETREAT SCOTLAND

LisaRating, 5 stars3 weeks ago
Fabulous cottage of a high standard with excellent facilities and plentiful equipment for a quality family break. Beautiful surroundings, with lawns, open fields and woodlands in abundance on the doorstep. Nature lovers dream location. Log burner, comfy beds, large and well equipped kitchen. Large garage to the rear of the property contained bikes, ping pong table etc. Enjoyed watching Robbie the robot mower who developed a personality of its own. Easy access to Laurencekirk (10 min drive) and Stonehaven (20 mins - don’t forget the Carron Chippy for your battered Mars bar!). Good location for Caingorms for a full day trip. Thanks for a great stay. Very helpful and friendly owners who were excellent communicators and provided assurance at every stage of booking.

Station Cottage Dinnet, Aboyne

Steve Et SarahRating, 5 stars1 week ago
Spacious bedrooms and bathroom. Smaller sitting room with not really enough room for the table and chairs but as we didn't watch TV it didn't matter. Small kitchen. Nice garden and we even had a BBQ. Nice to be able to walk straight from the house and the Muir of Dinnet nature reserve has interesting information panels on the way round.

Charming quiet cottage in the heart of Aboyne

AlisonRating, 5 stars2 days ago
Judith was welcoming. The cottage was beautifully clean and spacious. Lots of lovely little details. Great space outside french doors for a glass of wine and a chance to see swallows and swifts up close. In the big field we saw a deer with her very young fawn. Communication with Judith was great. We will definitely be back. Thank you

Burnside Neuk, cosy cottage close to Cairngorms

BarbaraRating, 5 stars1 week ago
Ben's place is tucked away just off the High Street and feels so private. The outdoor terrace is a great space and the house is really comfortable and very well equipped. We loved the independent local shops including a fantastic butcher, a farm shop selling local berries etc and there's loads to do within walking distance.
