Holiday rentals with a kayak in Alentejo

Paikka oli idyylinen ja rauhallinen. Sopi erittäin hyvin kahdelle aikuiselle ja kahdelle koiralle. Aita ympäröi kaunista pihaa ja asunto oli ihanan persoonallinen. Takassa poltettiin puita joka ilta, koska illat oli viileät ja se toi ihanan tunnelman. Carlos oli ihan super kun toi meille puita lisää kun takkapuut loppuivat. Kuvat vastasivat asuntoa ja pihaa hyvin. Hinta-laatusuhde oli hyvä.

La casa de Rui es excepcional. Se encuentra en un entorno natural muy bonito y la casa está decorada a la perfección. Los espacios amplios, limpios, acogedores y con todo lo necesario para tener una estancia de fábula con familia o amigos. Absolutamente recomendable.

Isabel and Renato are amazing hosts, from the warm welcome and fabulous table of food to the helpful recommendations. This place is fabulous for larger family groups, the beach is literally on the doorstep, you don’t need to bring anything with you, the hosts have everything covered. Turn up and enjoy your stay!

Nós adoramos a estadia. É possível ter paz e diversão ao mesmo tempo através do contato com a natureza, seja pela belíssima paisagem ou até mesmo pela represa. André é extremamente atencioso e Montezinho possui tudo o que um hóspede precisa para curtir a estadia. Todos os itens da moradia são de extremo bom gosto, o que nos permitiu sentirmos em casa.

La piscine de « casa Eden Garden » était beaucoup plus grande que prévue ! C’était une bonne surprise. Merci pour l’accueil avec les serviettes de plage. La voile d’ombrage à l’extérieur permet beaucoup d’intimité ! CAsa eden garden possède un grand terrain, et est très proche de la plage à pied (800 m environ) Merci encore pour l’accueil et la mise à disposition du barbecue et de la table de Ping-pong , jeux de fléchettes : note 5/5 ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Séjour agréable et hôtes accueillants. Il manque simplement la climatisation mais le cadre est agréable, la piscine a été très appréciable.

Die Quinta Dos Cochichos ist ein wunderbares kleines Fleckchen Erde, liebevoll gepflegt und in einer absolut ruhigen Umgebung, dennoch ist man schnell in Olhão oder an einem der wunderschönen Strände der Ria Formosa. Die Eigentümer Paula und Marc sind da, wenn sie gebraucht werden, und ansonsten wunderbar unaufdringlich, freundlich und liebenswert. Es ist vorhanden, was beschrieben ist, keine geschönten Beschreibungen oder Fotos - ehrlich und authentisch. Wir hatten eine sehr schöne Zeit und können einen Aufenthalt dort nur wärmstens empfehlen.

I had a restful stay at Aida and Barry’s place. I didn’t have a car and nearest train station is 3km away. Was able to get Uber to visit nearby towns when needed easily. I enjoyed having the very friendly dogs who wanted to walk with me, getting freshly laid eggs at the farm and the best oranges when juiced have the balance of tart and sweet. Aida and Barry were both very friendly and helpful hosts. Thank you!

A pleasent 15 minute drive out of Elvas brings you to the ridge line on which the few dozen houses of the village of Juromenha resides, adjacent to the imposing Fortress Juromenha. You drop down off the ridge towards the river Guadiana to arrive at Casa de Juromenha and its tranquil rural setting nestled between an olive grove and the the fortress. Behind the hedge lies a beautful traditional style building with a country garden, manicured lawn and an aquamarine pool facing the river. The room was beautiful, traditional and the decor has been done with passion and talent. We wanted for nothing and loved our time here, we thoroughly enjoy walking around the Fortress and a meal the local bar Pata Larga. For a country get away it has been outstanding for us. Alandroal, Villa Vicosa and the Marble area are all interesting visits from this idyllic base.

Wenn man die ländliche Lage bevorzugt, ist Sandras Apartment perfekt, denn in wenigen Minuten ist man an der Hauptstraße. Der steile Schotterweg war für uns erst ungewohnt. Das Apartment ist schön eingerichtet, die Küche sehr gut ausgestattet, die Terrasse wunderschön, Sandra und ihre Familie sind sehr freundlich. Wir empfehlen die Unterkunft gerne weiter!

Espaço espectacular no campo, com piscina, relvado, árvores, só se ouvem os passarinhos. A casa muito limpa, funcional, bem decorada, foram umas férias maravilhosas!

Hard not to fall in love with this place. Everything one could dream of. It’s a very relaxed environment with two very cool humans, whom which have built a little town of their own if you don’t say! We were lucky enough to have a little tour of the place, hear about how it all started. Went horseback riding with Chris which was incredo. Swam in the pond, sat in the sauna but mostly just enjoyed the view. And hung out with the doggos. Thank you. Will definitely come again when I return to Portugal.

We loved the spacious house and garden: plenty of different places to find shade or a breeze other than the roof terrace (plenty of good outdoor chairs etc). The air-con in the bedrooms is very quiet. The footpath through the nature reserve is a 5 min walk away down the quiet road (a variety of wildlife still in mid-summer). Here is also the one restaurant available by walking. Swimming places would need a bike or car. We followed the driving instructions on Google Street View before arriving: it really helped in recognising the turnings.
