Holiday rentals with beach access in Alentejo

The most beautiful home. Central / walkable location. Very clean and spacious home. Easy check in, navigation and communication with the host. Stunning location. Peaceful and private. Within a 10 minute walk to two beautiful beaches. Ricardo left a long list of recommendations on where to eat, what to do and which spots provided traditional Portuguese experience. Overall 10/10 and highly recommend!

We stayed at Peggy’s condo for 3 overnights. She was very responsive and clear with instructions about finding the condo and how to gain access. The condo was very well equipped and the upstairs rooftop views were spectacular. There are walkable restaurants for all Meals. You can walk to the walking section of Lagos. We drove as we had a rental car and are seniors. There is a local beach nearby- driveable. We used Peggy’s place as our base and went out and explored the beautiful Algarve every day. I highly recommend as the condo is exactly as described and Peggy and Rupert are fantastic hosts. The condo is also very clean and well maintained.

Overall, a great apartment, conveniently located with numerous areas to walk and a short Uber ride to Vale Do Lobo and Vilamoura. Nuno was excellent with his help and recommendations throughout our stay, certainly an excellent host.

Diogo is a wonderful host. He is quick to respond and helpful with everything we needed! His flat is very comfortable and is in the center of historic Lisbon! We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and highly recommend this flat!

This apartment is absolutely incredible. Immaculate, beautiful sea views, lovely furnishings- just wonderful. And in the interesting old part of town. So glad we chose to come here!

Staying at Joana’s place in Lagos was the most heartwarming and memorable Airbnb experience we’ve ever had. From the moment we arrived, we felt genuinely welcomed - not just as guests, but as a little family. My wife, our baby, and I were blown away by the love and attention Joana poured into every detail of the home. The interior is simply stunning - unbelievably lovely, with an eye for exceptional decoration that makes the space feel not only stylish but deeply cozy and comforting. Every corner felt thoughtfully put together, inviting us to slow down and feel at home. One of our favorite features was the patio with its small pool, perfect for a refreshing dip during the warm afternoons. It became a peaceful little sanctuary, away from the buzz of Lagos, and gave us that much-needed feeling of retreat. What touched us most, though, was Joana’s incredible hospitality. We spent 5 days at Juan’s apartment. The apartment is perfect for a couple. It’s comfortable, spacious and the balcony is great for breakfast and enjoying an evening glass of wine. There are cafes, bars and supermarkets just around the corner. It’s a 25 min walk to the centre but plenty of buses and trams if you need to avoid the hills! Lisbon is a charming city and Juan’s place is well located to enjoy it.

Probably the loveliest and cutest holiday rental I have stayed in - actually wished we could have spend more down time in the flat, but there is just a lot to do in Algarve! Everything looks just like in the pictures and Carlos and Eileen have thought of everything guests might need. The highlight is definitely the green garden with the outdoor bathtub. The kitchen is also really well equipped. Carlos and Eileen provided an incredibly detailed virtual guide, which included instructions on how everything works in the flat (including video instructions on how to operate the coffee machine, blinds, etc), as well as loads of great recommendations for restaurants and activities in the area. The bed is up below the ceiling, so it does get a little bit hotter there than in the rest of the flat, but with the aircon (which worked well and pretty quietly) it's totally fine.

Excellent location. Steps from beach. Loved watching surfers. Bruno made us feel right at home. Would stay again.

We spent 2 nights there in June. Edite is a lovely and friendly woman. The accommodation offers a magnificent view! and we slept very well there.

Paulo was quick to respond to my communications. The villa was beautiful with lots of extras to enjoy a home from home. We loved the peacefulness of the garden & the birdsong . My iPhone would not direct me to the address & I discovered that if you use maps to direct you to Camping Fetais, you are very close to the road leading to the home.

We had a gorgeous stay here with our toddler. The house had everything we needed for traveling with a child and was complete with toys, beach going needs like towels, umbrellas, and beach toys, as well as a crib and high chair. We borrowed their bikes and explored town and loved visiting the gelato place that’s around the corner. At night, we listened to the frogs in the rice paddies behind the house and loved watching the bird life during the day. Getting to the beach was quick and easy and we spent two days there. We had a really pleasant stay in Lenias little house. It was everything there we needed. It is really beautiful in nature and close to nice beaches and the village Rogil. My son loved to cuddle the little cat Jippie and the horse Garota:)

Cannot say enough about this place-would recommend every time. Walkable to fantastic restaurants and shopping, view is unbeatable. The pool was an added bonus after a day of sightseeing! Easy to access hiking, ocean activities and shops to stock up on provisions. Maria and Robert were very helpful and responsive hosts. Stop looking and book!!

We loved staying at Marlene's place! The location can't be beat. The views were amazing and we enjoyed the easy access to the beach and the walking trails along the cliffs. We found the walk to town totally doable (10-15mins) with also a few restaurants even closer (Mar, Luca's rooftop, etc.). The beds were comfortable and the kitchen was fully stocked. We would definitely stay here again.

We loved our time in this centrally located condo! It was cozy and clean, and we had easy access to beaches, stores, and restaurants. We would come here again and again.

We had a great time. From the apartment, we could visit many beautiful places and it is still very quiet and private. The village is only 4 minutes away by car and it is also very nice to eat something there and spend time on the beach. The hostess provided us with everything necessary and was not intrusive. We will be happy to come back!

We had a fantastic week at Anita’s apartment in Praia da Rocha. From the moment we arrived, we felt incredibly welcome – Anita and Antonio had left a generous guest pack including ham, cheese, wine, milk, water, biscuits and crisps, which was a lovely and thoughtful touch after our journey. The apartment itself is bright, spotless, and has spectacular views across the beach – which, pleasantly, wasn’t too busy during our stay. The location is excellent, with a great selection of bars and restaurants just a short walk away. Anita and Antonio were outstanding hosts – friendly, responsive, and clearly committed to making sure their guests have everything they need. Their detailed information pack was really helpful, and they were always quick to answer any questions we had. We wouldn’t hesitate to recommend this apartment – it’s a perfect base for a relaxing stay in Praia da Rocha. Thank you, Anita and Antonio, for your warm hospitality and kindness!
