House holiday rentals in Aldeburgh

We stayed at 6 Blyth View for one week as a family and we throughly recommend it to anyone looking for a lovely getaway in a peaceful location. The cottage is part of a lovely estate in a very peaceful and thoughtfully designed setting with amazing grounds overlooking fields to the East so you can stunning sunset views. It’s a short drive from wonderful Southwold and several neighbouring villages with great pubs offering decent food options as well as lovely drives to explore the surrounding areas. The cottage is perfectly equipped with all facilities working perfectly, a very well equipped kitchen, comfortable bedrooms offering plenty of storage space plus a perfect living room space and indoor and outdoor dining. Parking is situated close to the property. In addition, the (bookable timeslots) gym, swimming pool and games room were much fun and we very much enjoyed. Highly recommend this property and thank you to the attentive host for great support and communication when needed 🙏🏼

Just returned from a weekend break at Kirsty's chalet & literally cannot fault it! spotlessly clean, check in was straight forward and there were some lovely little welcome gifts for us & the kids which were a lovely surprise. swimming pool was a couple minute walk & brilliant.. beach was only a 10 minute walk away and also only 10 minutes to yarmouth pier 😊 100% we will return. Was perfect for what we needed park was nice and peaceful this time of year, caravan was lovely and clean, kitchen well stocked up with utensils pans etc there’s a onsite restaurant which is good reasonably priced food and drinks. Passes for park are £12 per person a week which you purchase extra as it’s a private listing , we used caravan while our house was being renovated so perfect local base for us, we have 2 dogs so this caravan is nicely placed out of main area so it’s peaceful no noise from people or cars going past to get home after entertainment etc, Definitely recommend to anyone we had no issues while we stayed so didn’t need to contact owner Thank you for letting us stay at your home

This is a gorgeous cottage set in the middle of countryside (but easy to get out & about in the car). The kitchen is huge and with everything you need, with several options for outdoor dining to make the most of the lovely garden. Beds are comfy with decent sized rooms, but the standout attraction is of course the pool…heated so that we (with two young kids) could enjoy it for several hours each day of our stay without anyone getting bored or chilly. Lorna & Dean v friendly & helpful hosts. Highly recommend; only caveat - while we had a great weekend here with our toddler in tow, we were outdoors for most of the time; the cottage is decorated beautifully and has flagstone flooring throughout the downstairs which are not always compatible / relaxing with an energetic 2 year old.

Absolutely perfect stay in a beautiful area. The house was spotless and even bigger than the photos show! It was perfect for 4 adults and my 16 month old daughter. Stuart sent great instructions through and loads of information about the local area, although we actually loved the house and grounds so much that we didn’t venture any further - we had a lovely few relaxing days in the house and walks around the woodland. My daughter even got to feed the goats. Will definitely come back, and will do a summer visit too as the pool looked beautiful.

This was a great find for my family of four and our dog. We enjoyed the sunny balcony and patio in the morning and lots of nice touches, especially the handmade pottery. The house is very handy for the beach, Pleasure wood Hills and our favourite places in Corton and it has the added bonus of free use of the pool and a friendly restaurant/clubhouse where we went for coffee everyday. Great value!

stayed here with my family members for a weekend getaway for my mums birthday. house is so so lovely, super cosy and charming and has everything you’ll need. there’s a tesco express and a co-op around the corner as well for anything else! walk to the seafront is about 15 minutes, but to drive it’s less than 5. location is lovely, house is so cute and we had a lovely time!!

We had a great stay in this lovely little cottage. Our dog enjoyed the large garden as we enjoyed a cold beer and soaked up the Easter sunshine after a day spent in Aldeburgh or the local area. Would definitely come back again, the town hosts some fabulous eateries including the fresh seafood shacks along the beach. Would thoroughly recommend!

We've just come back from a 3 night stay. The house is wonderful with everything you can think of available. The location is very quiet and with easy access to all other villages. We cycled every day to different locations. The hosts were always available if we had any issues - which we didn't. The grounds were well kept and we had the added bonus of having Phil the Pheasent patrolling in the back garden. The Garden is not overlooked. Lovely stay - would definately return if going back to Suffolk.

The lodge was very comfortable with very nice bedrooms with en-suite bathrooms. It is ideally located for introducing our Mexican friends to the charms of Suffolk and the well equipped kitchen enabled us to prepare delicious Suffolk produce. Highly recommended.

This is a really beautiful home, tastefully decorated, full of huge rooms and lots of natural light. The first floor bedroom is especially lovely - our family had a very peaceful time here. It is a very warm and welcoming space, and Ralph a great host.

A genuinely lovely stay. The property is immaculate and has lots of very nice touches. Very well located and benefits from dedicated off-street parking. The view of the lake is very peaceful and bi-fold doors let lovely light in. The host was very responsive and hospitable. Will definitely be back.

The perfect place for a stop over - walkable distance to the local town and shops area. Selma is a lovely host and we would definitely visit again!

Really loved staying here for a long weekend exploring Suffolk - close to lots of places we wanted to visit like Minsmere and Orford Ness and great spot to explore the lovely Aldeburgh. Bed was very comfy (even for someone 8 months pregnant!!), and apartment had everything we needed. Great bath. Lovely view of beautiful garden from bedroom. Kitchen had everything we needed. Really nicely finished space. Only issue (not for us) was Wi-Fi was very poor - we didn’t need this but in case you were planning to work worth bearing in mind. Highly recommend!

A beautifully furnished cottage which felt like home. Beds were so comfy and the cottage was very clean with a fully equipped kitchen. The stay was peaceful with a lovely patio garden and furniture. Aldeburgh was stunning and we walked to the Red House and were lucky enough to have a tour of the archives and house. We'd return again.

We really enjoyed our stay in Aldeburgh. Being so close to the sea was amazing, having the door open and hearing the waves in the evening was so nice. The bedrooms were huge with comfy beds and lots of towels provided. There's actually an extra sofa in the living room which isn't on the photos so that was a bonus. Aldeburgh is a lovely town to explore and there's so much to do close by, would recommend Snape Maltings and Sutton Hoo.
