Wonderful villa and place. We had everything we needed, all we had to do is just enjoy the villa itself and absorb the nature. All bedrooms were well prepared, towels, plenty of pillows, clean, great size bathrooms, also spotless. Kitchen well equipped, pool towels. The garden is breathtaking, loved that there are 3 spots available for dining. 2 pools are incredible idea and everyone enjoyed possibility to choose outside or inside one. Absolutely gorgeous place. Thank you.

Quite cozy place for a couple, in a quite quiet place and a very nice walk to the beach, recommended.

Staying at Laura's place again is always a good choice. She is a fantastic person, always attentive to what is needed. We went with our 13-year-old dog without any problems, as she is part of the family and we don't leave the house without her. Laura never objected despite being an American Staffordshire Terrier (we already know the stigma that exists with these breeds). We threaten to come back for the third 😉 time. Thank you so much Laura for letting us stay in such a nice and quiet place to rest and disconnect. We are grateful to find such a nice accommodation, in such a quiet and well-equipped place ❤️

Very cozy and beautiful house, it was not missing details. What we liked the most was the hot tub and fireplace. They're good to disconnect. Lorena is very attentive and answering all our doubts. Highly recommended. We will repeat 100%.

We loved our stay at the cottage, it was very clean and well equipped with everything we needed. But the best part was the beautiful surroundings and the amazing pool - perfect after a hot day in Ronda! We would definitely recommend.

Beautiful estate near the beach and 15 minutes from downtown Tarifa! With beautiful views and everything you need for a weekend with family or friends. The grill is excellent!

We had a wonderful 2-week stay at Casas de Almajar in July of 2024. My 7yo daughter and I were there along with friends, for a total of two adults and 2-3 kids at any given moment, ages 6-10. This accommodation was perfect for us. The house was cozy and stayed relatively cool during the very hot daytime hours (plus there was an A/C unit we could use when needed). We prepared most of our meals at the house and found that easy to manage with the supplies on hand. The pool was definitely the highlight of the location: it was pristine and extremely pleasant during the hot days. We spent hours there every day. The house is located uphill from most of Prado del Rey so you need to be prepared for some steep, hilly walking when you stay here, but it was only a <5 min walk to the main pedestrian walkway (lined with bars and cafes) or the town square. Juana was very helpful with local information and suggestions, from supermarkets and restaurants to nearby hiking trails. A great place!

The special thing is that you are only a few meters away from the sea and have a private path there. Otherwise, you have to walk quite far in Zahora, as there are only a few parking spaces by the sea....which is good. The little house is quietly located in an area of 7 houses or apartments. If anything, we were able to contact us and the gardener or caretaker did it right away . That was great . Salad was also available from the small garden. It was very quiet as the houses were little occupied in May. We liked it very much and would be happy to come back . Beds are great and also in the kitchen there was everything you need including summons, etc. The furnishings of the house are very nice. It is also great that there are extra chairs and an umbrella for the beach. We felt very comfortable. Thanks again and see you again soon.

This is our second time staying at this villa. It is a very beautiful area and so peaceful. We can happily ensure we have all we need and not leave the place. Lise is amazing. She looks after the place so well and when she has been to clean pool or water the plants you don't even know. She comes very early so as not to disturb but if you see her have a chat, she is a lovely lady with lots of knowledge!

Nacho is a great host with lots of good local recommendations. As we stayed for one month in february the chimney/fire place was especially welcome and worked well. The garden/outside space is lovely and very peaceful. Hopefully we will come back!

It was a delight staying there. Lots of space and light. Very peaceful and quiet. And of course the views! So nice to be out on the terrace. And even the view from inside the kitchen was amazing. Very big kitchen. And a very comfortable bed.

The house is great, it has everything you could need for a large group, such as a barbecue, oven, several refrigerators. Everything was very clean and beautiful, and the pool area is spectacular. We were a group of friends with children for a weekend and we had a great time. Jose Luis was very kind, and answered all our questions quickly. We would definitely stay here again.

What a wonderful ten days! We loved the cottage with the well equipped kitchen, the views and the outdoor space. The house has both heaters and air conditioning, but during our stay we didn’t need to use either. Really enjoyed walking up into the village and into La Janda. Tanja kindly provided fruit from her garden with some breakfast treats. Great stay!

What a great find! We had a brilliant stay - the pool terrace and location are the stand out, what a view! María was incredibly helpful and friendly, and the house was very comfortable. We are already planning our return!

I am so happy we found Raul and Taddeo‘s place. The level of hospitality, warm welcome and the around the clock responsiveness of this lovely couple was extraordinary. If you are looking for a simple but comfortable housing with all the required amenities topped with an amazing hidden gem of a beautifully landscaped garden (by the host himself who is a landscape designer) full of old olive trees, this is your place. We didn’t expect such garden beauty in an area filled with active farming land . Upon arrival we felt right at home, Raul was great in guiding us through the house and giving additional info about the local area. The cottage is rather small and very simply furnished but has all you need (great water pressure, squeaky clean (well equipped) kitchen and bathrooms). The location is a very private and peaceful oasis, just steps away from the densely populated holiday home coastal strip of Zahora with some nice restaurants and beach chiringuitos. The house is very cozy, better than the photos, very cuqui, its location is close to everything, the parking lot a few meters away. I recommend it. Communication with José Luis magnificent and without any problems, it makes you feel right at home.

Fantastic place ! Miguel was really helpful with my last minute booking and gave clear , easy instructions to get to the place which was easy to find. The house is amazing to relax with a stunning view over the mountains, just like the pictures . It's perfect for a weekend, away from the city. We loved it and recommend it to anyone !

Lovely place to stay if you want to get away from noise, traffic and busy tourist areas. The cottage is in a beautiful location surrounded by countryside. Every morning and evening we were serenaded by Nightingales singing in the bushes by the cottage. In the evening we could sit on the terrace and watch the sun go down. Eva and Christian are the nicest people you could wish for as hosts. Nothing was too much trouble, always ready to say hello and pass the time of day. I felt they would do anything to make visitors welcome. This place is full of rustic charm. Thank you Eva and Christian.
