Holiday rentals with a fireplace in Albury–Wodonga

Great location and great fireplace and pit, close to Beechworth, an interesting bathroom design a little chilly bit i admired the architecture and if you like minimalist space this is great ], great host help us oldies with the oven an accommodating on the firewood, true representation in the pictures, a beautiful weekend

Had a beautiful stay at The Glen. The autumn colours were stunning each window you looked out of. Cosy at night time, we enjoyed the open fire, as well as the outdoor fireplaces. Having the river in walking distance was a special treat. Perfect spot to relax, but to also use as a launchpad to the nearby areas of Rutherglen, Beechworth and Bright. Was a perfect escape.

Marlo's cottage is an absolute gem. Nestled in the heart of historic Beechworth, it's a beautifully restored 19th century oasis with everything at your fingertips. Would definitely recommend!

This was our second stay here, and once again, it felt like coming home. Dot and Gary go above and beyond to make sure every detail is just right—not only for us, but for our fur baby. From thoughtful touches like Netflix, super effective heating system and a well-stocked kitchen to dog-friendly amenities that made our pup just as comfortable as we were, it’s clear this isn’t just a rental—it’s a place that’s been created with genuine care and love. Great walks along the Murray River, walking distance to shops and cafes. We’ve stayed in many places, but few offer this kind of warmth and attention to detail. We can’t wait to come back again.

We were traveling as a family of 4 (2 adults and 2 children) and had a lovely stay at Sue's house in Rutherglen. It's only a street away from all of the shops, restaurants and cafe's and lots of beautiful rides/walks along the old rail line. Wineries are all close by also. The house was clean and had everything we needed for a very comfortable stay. Highly recommend!

We had a great time at Micaela's place. My husband and I went with another couple and it was the perfect place to get away. We really appreciated the extra little touches, including a bottle of wine. I would highly recommend staying here!

A great little place. Spotless and a great feel with a very private tidy back outside area and cosy and warm inside. Not at any point did we feel the need to dine out at night we just loved staying home having a quiet time and a wine while cooking.

We had a relaxing week at the "Shearer's Hut" quiet and beautiful scenery.

Lovey spacious place in a quiet neighbourhood. Place was clean and the beds comfortable. It say motel style accomodation but it better than a motel with all that space. There is a toaster and a microwave but no other cooking facilities. Bathroom is part of the main bedroom. Shower has good pressure and a fantastic size. Plenty of cupboard space. Enjoyed our stay with Adrian.

Very cool and cosy space. Would definitely stay again. Walking into Beechworth very easy (downhill). Coming back either good exercise or cheap with Indigo taxi's. Outdoor space wasn't private as there are other people who could see you - but there was no one around so felt private :) Extra handy to not have to use our own Netflix account and remember how to sign in and out etc. It's a small thing but just made our evening more relaxing, so thank you!

Wow what a gorgeous place. If I could give Miss Lucy's 6 stars I would. I absolutely loved my stay here. The space is so beautifully and thoughtfully decorated. Terrific little kitchen, exquisite bathroom , extraordinarily comfortable bed with quality linen. Not to mention, a location central to Beechworth and access to all the fabulous cafes and shops. I loved everything about this place and would stay again in a heartbeat. Thank you for creating such a beautiful space.

Minette was a perfect host. The property was really beautiful and a perfect gateway for a wonderful family weekend. 15 mins drive from beautiful Lake Buffalo, <5mins from center of Myrtleford.

Have stayed here before and we were extremely happy, will be returning! Located on a private property with a great walk behind the villa. Very private, didn't see the host or other guests even though they were around. Check in/out was easy. The place was very well designed and fitted out. Personal touches like a gift voucher to a local restaurant and thoughtful ammenities topped off a great facility and location. Highly recommended.

It’s the second time we have stayed here, we loved it so much the first time! It’s peaceful, relaxing, cosy, has everything you need and close to everything you want. Host is helpful and responds promptly. Not sure we’d stay anywhere else☺️

We thoroughly enjoyed our 3 days at Panoramia Villas. Beautiful views, quiet, and the most comfortable beds. Very spacious and perfect for 2 couples. Would definitely return some day and stay longer.

Stunning, well designed home away from home! All the comforts of a luxury hotel combined with the space and warmth of your own flat. Location is perfect-just a3 minute walk to bars and restaurants. Easy bike ride to wineries and most can deliver your purchases back to the accommodation for you as it's so close to the main Street. Easy and fast responses from Michele and her team and we were especially grateful for the foodie tips so we could book before v we arrived. Thanks for a fantastic stay in Rutherglen!

We cannot fault our stay at Basq Next Door. The house was beautiful; clean, warm and cosy. We felt at home right away, and the place had everything you could possibly need. The house was so close to the main part of Rutherglen so we were never far from anything. Michele was always responsive and gave us some great recommendations for experiences in the area over the Easter weekend. The beds were the comfiest I’ve slept in. Michele was so accommodating too, even providing us with a high chair and a travel cot for one of our babies. Going away as a family group with babies can be tricky but Michele made it so comfortable and easy. Thank you so much for a lovely, relaxing time away. We will be back!

great spot, very close to everything and loads of space. better than a lot of the options available nearby which were mostly hotels or motels or the winery accommodation down the road - all looked cramped in comparison. Michelle was very proactive in recommending places to go and we felt very welcomed! Will stay here again next time we are in rutherglen
