My stay at Zunilda’s was great. I had nothing to complain about. The loft is beautiful! Just like the pictures. I love the views of Havana and how the terrace can be wide open. I loved that I had the option of fresh air or air conditioning. The restaurants I wanted to visit were not far away. And old Havana was about 8 mins away via taxi. She made my welcome so easy with accommodating a taxi for my arrival. Zunilda also provides a phone. Which was a life savor for my boyfriend and I. Zunilda’s sister, Malaena was amazing as well; she communicated with us, gave us pointers for food and helped us with exchanging money. She also accommodated for our taxi to leave. The two things I was worried about in Cuba was having a cell phone and exchanging money, and Zunilda and Malaena provided that for us, making that worry go away. Thank you so much for having us and we shall return.

Le logement d'Ivis à Havana Central est idéalement situé, permettant un accès facile à pied à de nombreux sites stratégiques de la ville. Spacieux et étonnamment calme pour un appartement en plein centre, il offre un confort appréciable. Ivis et sa famille sont des hôtes chaleureux et attentionnés. L’un des atouts majeurs de ce logement est sa grande terrasse, agrémentée d’une petite piscine, un véritable plaisir au cœur de La Havane. Nous le recommandons sans hésitation.

We are very happy with the choice we made because the apartment is spacious, very clean and beautiful, with a unique architectural style. It is in 2 minutes walking distance to Capitolio. We felt very good thanks to Daiana who is a super host, a very pleasant, special person, with a lot of involvement in helping us with useful tips around Havana & taxi arrangements. We spent a few hours around Havana, she was our guide and she showed us some wonderful places around Havana that we would not have found without her knowledge.

We stayed here for one night before our departure, and it was an excellent experience. The neighborhood is spectacular. Leafy, peaceful, and surrounded by embassies, so it feels very safe and upscale. There are great restaurants nearby, and the host gave us several helpful recommendations. The house is exactly as shown in the photos. High ceilings, a beautiful front garden, and a modern, spotless interior. One of the cleanest Airbnb's I’ve ever stayed in. The beds are extremely comfortable, and the linens and pillows are true hotel quality. Definitely get the breakfast option as it is plentiful, delicious, and well worth it! The host and the cook were both warm and welcoming, and they made us feel like special guests. It was quiet at night and very easy to relax. No complaints at all — a perfect final night in Cuba.

Amelia y Alfonso son encantadores. Ella es un torbellino de vitalidad. La casa estaba muy limpia y era cómoda y agradable. Muy moderna en su interior y con aire acondicionado y ventiladores para no pasar calor. Amelia nos recomendó lugares para ir a comer por la zona y nos explicó dónde se encontraba la zona WiFi, muy cerca de la casa. La estación central está también muy cerca y también la plaza de la Revolución. Se adaptaron a nuestros horarios sin problema y nos aconsejaron sobre el barrio y a la hora de coger el Viazul que teníamos previsto para el día siguiente.

We had a wonderful stay at Ana's house. Mildred and her sister were excellent local hosts and so easy to coordinate check-in/out and airport transportation with. We rented the whole space, which is one bedroom on the 2nd floor (only one flight of stairs up) attached to a smaller sofa bed room that leads to a living room, plus another bedroom, which is on the 3rd floor (another flight of stairs up) in its own little "tower." The house is beautiful and has a mini refrigerator in both rooms (very helpful) and no kitchen/stove/coffee maker (just as advertised). Address note: The house is well located but I would note that it is actually located at Villegas & Muralla (not Lamparilla 1 as it shows on the Airbnb map/listing). This would not make a big difference for most people (it's a 10 minute/700m/.4 mile walk between the house and Lamparilla 1) but we did initially make the booking hoping to be on Lamparilla so it seemed worth mentioning as a heads up. Thank you for a great stay!

Maria and her husband were just what we needed arriving in Cuba for the first time. They helped us with our money exchange, gave us good directions for shops that sold basics like water or places to get fruit; they recommended areas to eat in. Their humour and practical nature were great. The apartment was cool and clean and we were able to use the washing machine. The patio area was comfortable to relax on.

This really is the perfect location to explore old and central havana! The hosts are very kind and helpful, giving a great welcome tour when you arrive. If you like us don’t speak much Spanish, the host put us in touch with their son for any questions we had during our stay and he was very helpful and quick to respond. The place itself was wonderful. Comfortable with a fan and aircon for when you are in the bedroom, and a beautiful terrace. Lovely restaurant right next door too. Highly recommend and would definitely stay here again!

This was my third vacation to La Habana and I brought a friend with me to experience the culture of Havana. I selected this Maylin’s place based on the reviews and knew it was a very desirable location. I would agree with the reviews that I read regarding Maylin’s place and really enjoyed our 9 day stay. Javier and Ivis are the onsite hosts were very kind and quick to respond to any questions or concerns – I couldn’t have asked for better attention. I communicated with google translate with no problem. It is an incredible location and the balcony overlooking Plaza Vieja that can’t be beat. You can see locals going about their daily lifes and the sounds of live Cuban music from the restaurants around the Plaza. Make sure to have your phone “unlocked” before arriving and get a Cuban SIM for connection. I hope to stay here again. Any problems we experienced are normal in Cuba and are not exclusive to this place and should not reflect negatively on our wonderful hosts.

We had a very pleasant stay. It is centrally located in Old Havana and walkable to everything. My high rating is relative to Cuba and do not expect everything to be perfect (water pressure, internet, etc). The terrace was a nice addition and offered great views. The host was very responsive and Norma helped so much after we arrived.

Linda experiencia, fascinados con el apartamento todo muy limpio y bien equipado la vista increíble, cero apagones en esa zona, el edificio muy seguro, elevador y parqueo privado dentro del edificio, la atención de Karla y de su padre Javier fue excelente muy amable y servicial sin dudas regresaremos lo califico 11 de 10.

Séjour parfait chez Amaya, en hyper centre le logement est nickel avec un beau balcon. Amaya est disponible et répond directement à la moindre question. Nous avons était accueilli par son papa qui ne parle qu’espagnol mais qui est super gentil il nous a même proposé de venir à la maison pour boire le café et échanger. Internet est compliqué à Cuba ; avec le logement amaya a laissé un téléphone avec partage de connexion on avait donc tout le temps le wifi et parfaitement. Je recommande ++ 😊

Safe, central location minutes from Malecón / National hotel. Very prominent building easy to spot when walking back or for taxi drivers. Spotless place. Working AC/WIFI even when there’s blackouts in other parts of Havana. Taxi’s nearby.

This was my first trip to Cuba, and this space did not disappoint. Upon check in, Greta welcomed us into the space, gave us a tour, and recommendations for local cuisine in the area. The airbnb is located in Centro Habana, a non touristy part of town. Although we always felt safe, we did get some stares from locals who recognized that we weren’t from there. The sitting area was rather warm during the day, as there is no air conditioning in the common areas. The bedrooms do have air conditioning and were always cool. Greta gave us a cellular device to use as a hotspot during our stay, it definitely came in handy. We were able to use La Nave (equivalent to uber) to get around. Overall, I would definitely stay here again!

Ha sido una experiencia muy recomendable,la amabilidad de Karel unido a la posibilidad de poder disfrutar de un desayuno espectacular ofrecido por Maxima hace que tengamos uno de los mejores recuerdos del viaje.

Reina, prima de Ernesto, foi quem nos recepcionou e nos acolheu durante nossa estadia. Sempre com muita boa vontade e carinho. Nos orientou sobre locais e cuidados a tomar, como deve ser em qualquer cidade grande e desconhecida com suas peculiaridades. A senhora Yamilka foi a pessoa que preparou com carinho o nosso café da manhã durante nossa estadia, muito delicioso. Todos, sem exceção, foram muito atenciosos e simpáticos. Local acolhedor e com um visual (vista) lindíssima do Malecon e Praça da Revolução. Pra quem gosta de caminhar está bem localizado entre os pontos turísticos famosos de Havana. Recomendo.

Excellent Host

Amazing place in the heart of Plaza Vieja with aircon and wifi. Ruben was very helpful and very responsive. Daily breakfast was great and it really helped that Ruben lent us a local mobile phone which we could use to hot spot when our roaming went out. Would highly recommend staying here.

La persona que siempre estuvo al tanto de nosotros fue Daniel, un chico queridísimo con mucha información importante, está cerca a la Plaza Vieja, un lugar lleno de restaurantes y música, también está cerca al Capitolio, bien ubicado aunque la vista de la Habana Vieja les puede parecer a algunas personas pesada de ver para nosotros hizo parte de la belleza del lugar y de la realidad cubana. Volveríamos sin duda a este lugar.

Appartement au 2e étage, calme, chambre très bien aménagée avec AC, la décoration de l’appartement est superbe, la douche avec eau chaude fonctionne très bien, cuisine assez bien équipée pour cuisiner des repas, micro-onde, poêle au gaz, frigo, tout fonctionne super bien. Quartier historique, beaucoup de restaurants. Maritza qui s’occupe du nettoyage est une personne fiable, ponctuelle et toujours disponible pour vous aider, comme une bonne boulangerie. Elle peut s’occuper de votre lessive et faire le ménage. Idania, la gestionnaire de l’appartement est très réactive et communique avec Maritza si nécessaire. Je vous recommande cet appartement pour sa localisation, sa décoration, ses équipements et son équipe, très professionnel et consciencieux.
