Casa Peces is well maintained and comfortable. The home is spacious and the neighborhood was peaceful. The pool was perfect. It was very easy to communicate with both Martha and Jessica. I would absolutely stay at Casa Peces again on a future trip!

Precioso el lugar, a pesar de estar muy céntrico, había mucho silencio y eso me encantó, un lugar para relajarse y disfrutar mucho en familia o solo adultos. Todo muy ordenado y privado, estoy deseando regresar.

Nice place to stay. I felt safe and secure. The house was in excellent condition. We had plenty of towels. I would stay again.

Lugar cómodo y familiar para disfrutar en paz

Un hospedaje increíble, cerca d aeropuerto y locales comerciales. La casa es amplia, con una hermosa iluminación natural, los cuartos, amplios y cómodos, todo estaba muy limpio, una cocina totalmente equipada. De los mejores hospedajes que puedes encontrar en Alajuela, valio 100% la pena lo que pagué.

Maison très agréable. décoration soignée. Bonne disposition des pièces. Jardin(s) soignes, dont une partie sans vis à vis.Petites attentions des notre arrivée: café, condiments. Très beaux linges de lit. Nous nous sommes sentis comme à la maison.

Soy una tica que vive en Houston Texas. Vivo extrañando la naturaleza en todas sus formas. Pero a llegar a esta casa sentí ese calor de hogar que me hacía falta . Es súper tranquila, está dentro de una propiedad grande y familiar, eso me hizo sentir muy segura ! Es sereno y relajado estar allí, el sonido de las aves y el patio lleno de gallinas me hizo sentir en mi antigua casa . Sirlene es una súper anfitriona siempre atiende cualquier consulta o necesidad a la mayor brevedad . Sus padres súper amables y nos regalaban muchas frutas . Les recomiendo esta casa tiene todo lo necesario para una estadía larga . Mi familia y yo estuvimos un mes . Fue una experiencia muy buena . Con mucho gusto volveré en un futuro.

Alejandra's house was exactly as shown in the pictures. Lots of space and very clean. The best part was how lovely and welcoming Alejandra's family are. They made us feel like part of the family and so comfortable to stay there. Thanks for everything!

Fantastic spot with so much space in the heart of San Jose. Easy to walk around and find anything you need. Lots of privacy with an entire fenced in yard. Host was so responsive and very kind. Definitely recommend.

Wir waren (leider) nur eine Nacht in diesem wunderschönen Airbnb. Alles ist wirklich fantastisch. Es ist ein wunderschönes Haus. Sehr gepflegt, eine extrem tolle Aussicht. Und alles wird gekrönt von dem coolen Jacuzzi, welcher auf der Terrasse steht! Vor gewärmt für uns – das war perfekt. Alles in allem Fünf Sterne Deluxe. Super Kommunikation mit dem Host –MELANY. Vielen Dank für dieses tolle Erlebnis. Wir sind öfter in San Jose und werden definitiv diesen kleinen Umweg in Kauf nehmen. Herzlich und warm beschreibt es am besten. Vielen Dank für alles und bis bald – nicht zu vergessen – Hundefreund. Mit unseren drei kleinen Dackel – ein Traum. Danke. ❤️

Really enjoyed this private little getaway in the city and near the airport. Walkable to a small supermarket and restaurants. Clean, comfortable bed, cozy, helpful and welcoming hosts. We were able to bring our little dog no problem. Would definitely stay again.

The house is spacious, clean, and equipped with modern amenities. Located in the highlands of Alajuela, it’s a good base for visiting La Fortuna, Monteverde, Poás, etc. However, don't be fooled by Zarcero’s central spot on the map - mountain roads and thick fog often add an hour or more to your journey (e.g., 3 hrs to Puntarenas, 4 to Manuel Antonio). Scott and Yamileth - the housekeeper were very responsive and quickly resolved an issue with the electricity. One thing to be aware of: the weather. During our stay, it averaged 14°C while in San Ramon only 30km down the hill it was 24°C . While I’m used to the cold, the house had limited heating (a small oil heater), and we only packed for tropical temps, which made indoor time a bit chilly. Overall, a lovely place that I’d recommend to both adventurers and families - just bring warm layers if you’re visiting during the cooler season.

This place is very basic and we just stayed here We had a great stay for a night! The place was super clean and everything worked just as described. We do prefer a bit more comfort in our linens and bedding, but the ones provided were okay. There’s only one bedroom with a queen-size bed and a sofa bed. It would’ve been better if there were two single beds, since the bedroom is large. You could separate or join them based on what your guests prefer. Oh, and there are some stray and neighbor owned dogs that live nearby and sometimes hang out around the property if you’re outside in the back or front. They’re friendly and harmless, but they might not be the best for people who are scared of dogs.

We had a great time at the house!!! Gabriel and Laura are great hosts. The house was clean, very spacious, the kitchen had everything we needed, we were able to make everything, . We were with 3 dogs, the yard is very big and fenced, there is a closet gate we felt very safe . Every morning we heard the sound of the birds singing, and the sunrise is stunning . There is 2 grocery stores nearby that have everything you need. . Thank you so much for your hospitality . Definitely recommend 🌹

Carlo's place was great! We stayed almost a week and felt right at home. We saw many birds and even a couple frogs from the expansive living room and deck. The air conditioning in the bedrooms was much appreciated and worked great. The showers were nice. We cooked in the kitchens many mornings and were very happy with the set up and appliances. I also have to say that Cuidad Colon was a charming small town and I hope to return someday. All in all I highly recommend Carlo's place!

We had a great stay. The house is as described and the kitchen was particularly well equipped. The beds were comfy. Irma was very helpful with recommendations and a booking for a birthday meal. We received fresh eggs in the morning, which was lovely. This does mean noise from the chickens, so bring earplugs if you are a light sleeper. There is a lovely balcony and plenty of space for the kids to run around.
