Can't say enough good things about this place, or about our amazing host, Sven. The apartment is exactly what you expect from the pictures...spotless, well appointed, and an outstanding location. Spent New Year's at Sven's place and it did not disappoint, nor did Hemsedal. Watching the fireworks from the deck of Sven's place was something we will never forget. Parking is in the same complex and is super easy. The location is close to the lifts...a few minute walk...as well as to the restaurants and shops in the SkiStar Lodge. In every way, perfect! I have to add that Sven was the most helpful, courteous, and accommodating host we have ever had in our travels. Truly a pleasure to deal with. Thank you for hosting and for sharing your place with us!

Fantastic nice and nicely decorated apartment, with everything you might need. It was located wonderfully close to the slopes and easy to get to. The amenities in the property were fine. Definitely worth a visit.

Wonderful home right next to the slopes. From the moment we arrived, the chalet welcomed us with warmth and comfort, feeling like a home away from home for the entire family. The meticulous attention to detail in every corner did not go unnoticed, making our time both comfortable and luxurious.

The perfect stay in wonderful Geilo. The flat is modern and very well equipped. It is quiet and calm with an amazing view of the slopes. You can walk to the Highland hotel for delicious kanelsnurrer in 5 mins. It’s just 5 more minutes to the centre of town and bus stops for the slopes. Or you can ski from the front door on to the loype just below the building. Can’t wait to go back.

The accommodation is recommended. We stayed two adults and two teenagers for a ski week. The accommodation was small, but cozy, fresh and nice and with well-equipped kitchen. It was calm and quiet in the building and there was a cozy lounge in the downstairs of the house. The ski bus went right outside, but unfortunately not very often. We took the car instead, 10 min to Skicenter. Bakery in the same house, well equipped grocery store and close to restaurant was a plus. The host was very nice, had a personal response and quickly responded to any questions. Easy to find, free parking outside the door and easy check in. If you should mention something on the minus side, we thought the double bed was somewhat narrow (140cm?), the bunk bed was a bit rickety and we were missing filter coffee maker. Summary: Great place to stay, and great host, highly recommended!

Beautiful quiet apartment in Geilo overlooking the countryside and the modern stylish church. Loving furnishings, so you feel right at home. Kitchen is well equipped. Everything you need. We had unexpectedly very warm weather and were able to make good use of the beautiful balcony for breakfast and also in the evening. Thanks Ingrid for letting us being your guests and thank you also for the chocolate

It was a really good spot for going on some shorther trips. The area was quiet. We loved the landscape there. The apartment was clean, nice and well equipped. The rooms seemed to be more spacious in the pictures than they were in reality but we didn’t mind. It was 7 of us. I can imagine that if 9 people stay there it might feel a bit crowded. We’d recommend this accommodation to others. ☺️

A cozy, not so big apartment, everything was fine. Too bad it was missing from the ping pong table, it would have been a nice activity when it rained.

Everything was perfect, the cabin was lovely and located in short walking distance to the main ski slopes and lifts, calm area but also within walking distance to the famous after ski, and the host is very responsive and helpful! Highly recommend!

Super cabin with short distance to ski slopes and everything that happens in Hemsedal. The cabin was really nice and nicely decorated. If we can pull down on something, there are extremely steep stairs up to the 2nd floor and the patio is facing straight out towards the parking lot - but this was no problem for us. Therese has been absolutely amazing and we can definitely recommend both the cabin and her as a landlord! We would gladly come again! :)

The apartment is perfectly located right by the ski resort. Thomas is friendly and easy to communicate with.

The view was amazing, the house was clean and everything was just as promised. Whole family had lovely little holiday.

Super helpful and responsive host. Lovely apartment in great location for town and skiing (downhill and cross country). Easy walk to shops, and the highland lodge pool/gym/sauna/bakery just next door are great. For skiing we walked to bus stop up the road with young kids and it was ok, but did have to carry their skis :) Apartment gets great sun in the afternoon, perfect on the balcony!

We had some wonderful days, quiet and calm. Nice space for families, relatively short distance to activities. We are happy to take the trip again when the opportunity offers.

The apartment was a great stay again. It was very comfortable, homely and suitable for our family to cook and relax after a days skiing. With less snow this year we had a different view but got to walk to the beach. I hope we can come again next year. Thanks for hosting!
